탈놀이의 靈物科場 연구

Abstract

This study has its aim the clarification of the structure of forming and of conscousness of Talnory(folk plays) which is in existing youngmulgoajang(sect for superficial animals) through the perpendicular, horizontal comparison and analysis. We decide that youngmulgoajang is the one of the model of Text. The contents of youngmulgoajang part the subject of spritual animal and the oppositor of Yangban/Jung(the high class people of chosun). Youngmulgoajang changes the funtion and structure according to the placement If it will play in the first or in the last. it's funtion is the depence of unlock things such as illness, misdeed, etc.. To play in the middle, youngmulgoajang enforce to entertain itself. If it part into the contents, it is conected with the former goajang( is similar to act). We know that youngmulgoajang has the surface and the depth of the structure. Youngmulgoajang coarses from yurangyeaingipdan(the similar to western gypsses.) to tochakmin(constanly lived in same places). The Changing makes it from complex structure to simple structure. Youngmulgoajang exists the part of talnory. It shows that it's structure has a connection to total that of talnory in chapter Ⅳ through clarification of the forming. At last, Talnory courses from yurangyeaingipdan to Tochakmin. Therefore, Talnory has cyclic structure of forming and content in all sects corporating with classes. The cyclic structure bases on the openess and flexibleness of Talnory sect. The Openess and flexbleness of Talnory has funciation to the principal of the variation of several classes and reprocity. It has connected to structure of conscousness of Talnory. We clearly know that Talnory is the playing form through showing the presential fact including the existing itself.;본 연구는 탈놀이에 존재하는 '영물과장' 을 비교*분석함으로써, 영물과장의 구성원리와 기능을 살펴보고, 나아가 탈놀이의 구성원리를 구명하고자 한다. 영물과장은 위치에 따라, 기능 및 구조가 변한다. 위치가 처음이거나 맨 마지막인 경우, 벽사적인 기능이 강화되어 있다. 중간에 삽입되는 경우, 오락적인 기능이 강화되고 있다. 주목되는 점은 중간에 삽입되는 경우, 내용과의 연관성을 통해 삽입의 증거를 보이고 있음을 살폈다. 이를 통해 영물과장은 표층적 구조와 심층적 구조를 가지고 있음을 보았다. 탈놀이는 여러 과장이 합쳐져서 이루어진 놀이이고, 영물과장은 전체 탈놀이의 부분 과장으로 존재한다. 각 과장은 전체적인 내용과 유기적인 관계를 형성하기도 하지만, 독립적인 개별성을 갖기도 한다. 이는 탈놀이가 과장의 삽입과 첨가를 통해서 이루어졌음을 알려 준다. 결국 영물과장의 형성은 탈놀이의 형성과 매우 밀접한 관련을 갖고 있는데, Ⅴ장에서는 이를 탈놀이의 전체구조와 연관지어 논의하고자 하였다. 영물과장의 연희는 유랑예인집단의 연희에서 토착주민의 연희로 넘어가며, 이 과정중 연희의 내용은 복합한 구조에서 단순한 구조로 개작된 듯 하다. 결국 탈놀이는 유랑예인집단의 연희에서 토착주민의 연희로 전승된다. 그러므로 탈놀이의 모든 과장은 형성과 내용면에 있어서 순환적 구조를 가지게 된다. 이 순환적 구조는 탈놀이 과장의 개방성과 유연성을 바탕으로 한다. 탈놀이의 개방성과 유연성은 여러 계층적 변모와 상호호혜의 원칙을 실현하는 기능을 하게 된다. 이것이 곧 탈놀이의 의식구조와 연결됨을 보였다. 또한 탈놀이가 있는 사실을 그대로 보여줌으로써 현재성을 담보하는 놀이 형태임을 아울러 밝혔다.
