J. S. Bach의 Invention 지도를 위한 바로크 건반음악 연주양식에 관한 연구

Abstract

This study was under taken to examine the Baroque keyboard music and its general performance practice for the students who are learning Baroque keyboard music. Though organ, clavichord and harpsichord which are all Baroque keyboard instrument had their own unique characteristics their function was so restricted when compared with that of the contemporary piano. And performance practice for Baroque music-Tempo, Dynamics, Phrasing, Articulation, Fingering and Ornaments could not be developed very rapidly due to the limited function of Baroque keyboard instruments and poor notational systems in those times. Nevertheless, today, we are learning Baroque keyboard music, not considering much of the differences of the structure between the two periods, Baroque and nowadays. So, writer have focuss on the solution of the problem arising from neglecting the periodic differences, by analyzing the representative Baroque keyboard music of educational piece, by J.S. Bach's 2 part Invention No.1, No.2, 3 part Sinfonia No.9 and No.15, henceforth, the way of Baroque piano playings has come to be improved more conveniently and efficiently. The teaching method was presented based on by the theoretical analysis of the composition and construction of the counterpoint music, Invention and also through the understanding of the characteristic and compositional basis of the polyphony for the full acquisition of the playing Baroque keyboard music pieces. Also, the interpretational problems of the tempo, dynamics, phrasing, articulation, fingering, and ornaments are adequately expressed through all of the researches above. Consequently, this study was presented for the increase of educational efficiencies of the students who are learning Baroque keyboard music, henceforth, the true understanding of the historocal, instrumental, theoretical, and emotional differences will come.;본 논문은 바로크 건반음악의 특징 및 전반적인 연주양식에 대해 연구하여 교사와 학생들이 바로크 건반음악의 대표적 교육용 작품인 J.S. Bach의 인벤션(Invention)을 효율적으로 지도하고 학습하도록 하는데 목적이 있다. 음악적 표현력 및 음악학습에 있어 다른 악기에 비해 다양한 교육적 효과를 지니고 있는 피아노는 오늘날 음악교육의 기초악기로써 건반음악의 연주양식 및 특징에 대한 올바른 이해와 연주해석이 절실히 요구된다. 바로크 시대의 건반악기인 오르간(organ), 클라비코드(clavichord), 하프시코드(harpsichord)는 각기 다른 특징을 가지고 있었지만 현대의 피아노에 비해 기능이 비교적 제한적이었다. 그리고 바로크시대의 연주양식, 즉 템포, 다이나믹, 프레이징, 아티큘레이션, 꾸밈음은 당시의 건반악기 기능의 제약과 표기양식이 아직 미숙한 단계를 벗어나지 못한 이유에서 크게 발전하지 못했다. 그 결과 오늘날 바로크시대의 건반음악의 학습과 연주는 현대적 피아노와 바로크시대와의 악기상의 차이점과 연주양식의 확고한 이해없이 행하여지고있다. 이에 본 연구는 바로크 건반음악의 연주양식 중 연주자가 연주시 기본적으로 알아야 하는 템포, 다이나믹, 프레이징, 아티큘레이션, 꾸밈음의 특징과 연주방법 및 요령 등은 관계문헌을 토대로 연구하였고 J.S. Bach의 인벤션중에서 2성의 No.1 C Major, No.2 c minor, 3성의 No.9 f minor그리고 No.15 b minor 곡의 지도방법을 제시하여 바로크 음악의 피아노 학습에서 대두되는 여러 가지 연주 문제의 해결 방안을 모색하였다. 지도방법은 대위법적 음악인 인벤션의 조성과 형식적 구성 등 이론적 분석을 통해 바로크 건반음악에 대한 이론적인 이해를 도모하였고 바로크 연주양식의 습득을 위해 다성음악적 특징과 효과적인 연주방법을 제시하였다. 템포, 다이나믹, 프레이징, 아티큘레이션, 꾸밈음과 관련한 연주해석상의 문제는 다성음악의 특징과 구성원리를 바탕으로 원전판과 편집자들이 만든 여러 가지 실용판을 비교 연구하였으며 이로부터 바로크시대 양식에 부합되면서 현대 피아노학습에 적합한 지도방법을 모색 하였다. 이 모든 연구는 바로크 건반음악을 학습하는 학생에게 올바른 바로크 건반음악 연주양식을 이해시켜 효율적인 연주학습을 유도하여 충실한 교육적 효과를 얻기 위함이다.
