時ㆍ空槪念을 통한 生의 이미지 表現

Abstract

The activity of generation, variation and disappreance had been continuing not only in the essence of human being but also in the perceivable world as the time flowed endlessly. The will for artistic. creation had been developed as a common essence of human being through the human being's endeavour which express his lives in the flow of time unfolded with the human being's dynamic lives. The meaning of art was manifested with the understanding of the circumstances as a part of the creativity which makes human being free, and the method which makes the 'human being's lives higher in quality. The deep consideration was made about the circumstances of human being, namely the time and the space which have a dialectic relation, not a isolated and dispersed relation if art is the human being' creative lives. The art related to the human being's lives speaks for the human being's history, namely the time and the prerequisite condition of the human being's doing, namely the space. The harmony of the time and the space was persued by introducing the time of human being's lives two dimensional plane, namely , one constitute of the space in the work of art. There is the originality of this work of art in that point of relating the image of lives to the concept of the time and the space. The number and point symbolized the time and the patterned number and tape symbolized the material and the space, for the expression of the image of lives based on the time and the space. The dark shape of human being and the dualism of circumstances were expressed through the darkness of Chinese ink and the shape of indefinited and incompleted human being were represented through.;우리가 지각하는 세계는 끊임없는 시간의 흐름속에서 生成과 消滅의 활동을 계속하고 있으며, 그 세계속에서 인간의 본질 역시 생성, 변화, 소멸의 과정을 거치게 된다. 인간의 역동적인 삶과 함께 전개되는 時間의 흐름속에는 그의 生을 표현코자하는 인간의 노력이 있어왔고, 인류의 공통적 본능으로서 예술적 창작의지는 高楊되어 왔다. 모순과 부조리, 투쟁속에서 살 수 밖에 없는 근본적인 인간의 삶을 보다 高次的으로 환기시키는 하나의 수단으로서, 인간을 더욱 자유롭게 하는 창조성의 一環으로서, 예술은 상황이라는 조건하에서 그 의미를 드러내 왔다. 예술이 창조적인 인간삶의 표현이라 할때 인간의 상황에 대한, 즉 시간과 공간에 대한 문제가 제기된다. 시간과 공간은 인간의 本來的인 환경으로서, 이 둘은 인간과의 관계에 있어서 孤立分散的으로 생각할 수 없는 변증법적 관계하에 있다. 예술의 주체가 인간이고 그것을 반영하는 양식 또한 인간의 의식을 통한다고 볼때, 인간삶의 領域과 관련된 예술은, 시대와 역사를 즉, 인류의 시간을 代辯한다고 보여진다. 이에 본인은 인간의 삶과 더불어 예술을 관통하는 시간의 개념을 다루고자 하며, 시간과 함께 인간의식과 행위의 先提條件이 되는 공간의 문제를 생각해 보고자 한다. 또한 이러한 시ㆍ공간의 개념을 바탕으로 작품에서는, 공간의 한 요소로 볼 수 있는 1차원적 평면(화면)에 인간삶의 時間性을 도입하여, 시간과 공간의 融合을 추구하였다. 시간과 공간을 바탕으로 한 生의 이미지를 표현함에 있어서, 숫자와 점으로 시간을 상징화하는데 주력했으며, 패턴화된 숫자와 tape론 물질과 공간을 認識코자 하였다. 또한 묵의 어두움을 통해 암울한 인간의 조건과 상황의 兩面性을 드러내었으며, 결코 구체적이지 않고 완전치 않은 인간형상을 부분적으로 부각시키므로서, 불완전한 인간의 모습과 상황을 표현 하코자 하였다. 그러한 내용과 표면적인 방법들을 통해서, 결국은 인간의 문제로 歸着되는 시ㆍ공간의 개념을 인간의 상황과 관련지어 生의 이미지를 모색해보고자 함이 본 논문의 의도이다.
