R. Schummann의 Carnaval op. 9와 M. Ravel의 Soanatina 연구

Abstract

본 연구는 필자의 대학원 졸업연주 작품중에서 R. Schumann의 Carnaval op. 9와 M. Ravel의 Sonatine을 분석 고찰한 것이다. 이 연구는 작품의 분석을 통하여 각 작품의 주요한 음악적 특징과 구조를 살펴봄으로써 두 작품을 보다 잘 이해하여 연주하는데 도움을 주고자 한다. 연구내용은 두 작곡가의 피아노 작품의 특징에 대해 알아보고 분석을 통해 나타난 음악적 특징을 화성, 선율, 리듬, 조성 등을 중심으로 논하기로 한다. R. Schumann의 Carnaval op. 9는 슈만의 문학적 사고의 배경과 작품과의 연관성을 작품에 나타난 음악적 요소로 파악한다. Carnaval op. 9는 각각의 표제를 지닌 성격적 소품이 [가면 무도회]라는 큰 표제로 묶여 곡 전체에 연관성을 부여한다. 또한 문학적인 발상으로 각 소품에 ASCH라는 문자를 활용하여 다양한 음의 변형을 시도함으로써 다양함과 동시에 통일성이 돋보이는 걸작이다. M. Ravel의 Sonatine은 고전주의의 형식에 인상주의의 영향이 나타나는 작품으로, 특정적인 작곡기법과 순환형식을 리듬, 조성, 주제, 화성등을 중심으로 살펴본다. 3악장으로 구성된 Sonatine은 제 1 악장에 제시된 주제동기가 전악장에 순환되어 사용되고 Sonata의 형식과 병행화음, 선법의 이용, 주제선율의 변형 등이 특징적인 작품이다.;This study is to analyze and to investigate R. Schumann's Carnval Op.9 and M. Ravels Sonatine in my graduate school's graduation recital. Through the analysis of these pieces, This study is to investigate the important musical characteristic and structure in order to help well understand and play these pieces. 'Ihe content of this study is to find out the characteristic of the two composer's piano pieces and to dictate logically the musical characteristic appeared through analysis, in harmony, melody, rhythm and tonality, etc. R . Schumann's Carnval Op.9 is analyzed the relationship between the background of Shumann's literary thoughts and his pieces by mica1 factor in his piece. Carnval Op.9 is that each characteristic small music has own title individually, and gives the relationship to the whole being connected by large title that is 「mask ball」. And also, the unity and the variety is shown by introducing various transformation of music using the letter ASCH as the literary expression. M. Ravel's Sonatine is the piece that has the classical form and the impressionism, is to investigate the specific composition and circulation form in rhythm, tonality, theme, and harmony etc. Sonatine which is consist of 3rd movement use circulately theme motive that presented in 1st movement, which has sonata form, paralled chord, usage of mode and modulation of thematic melody.
