개념적 접근방법에 의한 국민학교 음악감상 프로그램 모형 개발 및 적용

Abstract

모든 음악활동의 기본을 이루고 있는 음악감상 영역의 교육 실태를 살펴보면, 감상 학습의 중요성에 비해 교재내용에 대한 지식과 교수방법에 대한 자신감 부족으로 많은 수업 손실을 가져오고 있으며 구체적인 지도 교재를 절실히 요구하고 있다. 이러한 필요성에 따라 본 연구는 현대 세계적인 음악교육의 주류를 이어온 MMCP의 개념적 접근 방법에 의한 음악감상교육 프로그램을 구안하여 실제 적용해 보고 그 효과를 검증하는데 연구의 목적을 두고있다. 본 연구를 위해 서울 시내 M 국민학교 5X 년 중에서 음악능력 검사결과가 비슷한 두 학급을 실험반과 비교반으로 하여 실험반에는 개념적 프로그램을 비교반에는 제 5차 교육과정의 교사용 지도서의 내용을 본 연구자가 10차시에 걸쳐 각각 지도하였다. 개념적 프로그램을 작성하는데 있어 교수-학습 모형은 Gagne의 이론을 적용하였다. 나선형 구조에 따른 학습 위계에 따라 과제분석하여 VTR, 카드, 악보등의 자료 제작과 여러가지 음향테잎을 사용하여 프로그램을 구안하였다. 지도결과에 대한 효용성을 검증하기 위해 프로그램 적용지도후에 본 연구자가 제작한 음악감상 평가를 실시하고 그 결과를 t점수화하여 두 집단간의 유의한 차를 비교해 보았으며 프로그램 적용 지도 전과 후, 두번에 걸쳐 음악재능 검사를 실시하여 두 집단의 전, 후의 점수를 t 점수화하여 유이한 차를 알아보았는데 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 본연구자가 제작한 음악 학력 평가는 음악감상 지도후 평가를 실시하여 실험반, 비교반 각 집단의 평균 차를 t 검증 하였는데 실험반의 평균 점수는 80.78 비교반은 73.00 이며 P＜ .01수준으로 볼때 T=2.59 (P=.009)로서 유의한 차이를 보였다. 2. 음악 재능 검사는 프로그램 실시 이전과 이후를 비교한 결과 실험반에 있어서 종합능력은 t=4.77 (p=.000) 유의한 차이를 나타내었는데 8항목중 리듬, 음빛깔, 음길이, 음외우기의 4영역이 유의한 차이를 나타내었다. 비교반은 종합능력이 P= .44로서 유의한 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 이상과 같은 연구 결과를 종합해 볼 때 개념적 접근법에 의한 음악감상 지도는 아동들에게 음악요소를 학습 위계에 따라 구체적으로 지도함으로서 음악에 대한 이해를 바르게하고 새로운 음악에 대한 적응을 가능하게 하며 좀더 흥미롭게 음악감상에 참여 할수 있는 능력을 기르는데 효율적이라고 말할 수 있다.;Music appreciation comprises the base of music activity as audial art. But the circumstance of present education is that teachers' lack of knowledge about textbook content and want of self-confidence in their teaching method bring about much loss in lesson performance. Teachers are urgently in need of concrete disciplinary textbooks. This study has been started, for this reason, to design a program of music appeciation by a conceptual analysis applying it to reality and verifying its effect. A conceptional program (to subject group) and the content of the 5th curriculum teacher's disciplimary textbook (to comparison group) have been applied to two classes of elementary school fifth-grade-year students through the author's instructional process of 10 times respectively. Design of the conceptual program followed Gagne's instruction - learning pattern and employed various materials of sound, V.T.R, O.H.P, music and card to help understanding of musical concepts. and to verify the efficiency of the instruction results, looks of questionnaire, musical performance assessment and musical talent test were made use of, comparing significant differences by T-verification. As the result of instruction, most learners in the subject group have analyzed musical concepts and shown interest with positive attitude rather than in the comparison group, and the test on their musical talents presented a significant difference of T=4.47 (P=.000). In conclusion, conceptional music appreciation seems efficient in helping children's understanding of music and their adaptation to newer music and also in raising their ability to participate in it with interest.
