墨을 통한 造形的 抽象表現

Abstract

What forms the main stream in modern art may be said very abstractness and, if it is focused on the abstractness in Korean Painting it may be viewed a matter of mentality prior to expressional mode Andre Breton's statment, "The gate form now on is to be opened toward the Orient." makes us see that, consequently. also Abstract Expressionism has close relationship whit Eastern thought Oriental painting has indeed paid its gravity on the original oriental mind. and upon ti. seeked for and developed modern system of sense and new experessional method. In this study, the concept of abstractness which is generalized in Korean painting has been considered together With an investigation into the formative chatactertistic appeared in experessing this tendency and the free use of material of Action Painting and contingency of informal that has much Influence on Korean painting has been dealt altogether to analogize the abstractness of Korean painting out of it. Artpiece is not mere imitation of nature, rather it is seen a matter to give shapes to it on subjectivism in order to represent the inner truth which is to be found in deep mind of complexity on everyday idea in accordance with the reason and principle of nature. In expressing formative work, in the study, formativeness has been explored into from the effect of contingency by means of spots, and, also, beyond use of spots, structure of formative faces was expressed in a manner of collage that made use of Korean paper added with colors. This paper work, as a new interpretation upon the expressional material, is what aimed to represent another moaning of formative space through reorganizing the face directly on the canvas, escaped from any fixed idea. In work analysis, formative exploration in the canvas and a persuit for a possibility of the technique and expression desired have been conducted, repeating autonomous experiments to find out a creative and new formative world of the artist's own and also to grope for newer orientation. ※ Andre Breton(1986-1966) A French poet and critic, advocated the movement of surrealism, established a theory upon automatism.;現代美術에 있어서 그 주류를 이루고 있는것을 다분히 抽象性이라고 말할 수 있으며, 韓國畵에서의 추상성이라면 그것은 표현 양식 이전의 정신성의 문제로 볼 수 있다. 앙드레 부르통^(*)(Andre Breton)의 "이제부터 門은 동양으로 열린다"라는 말은 결국 추상표현주의 또한 동양사상과 밀접한 관련성을 갖고 있음을 알 수 있다. 이와같이 東洋畵는 고유한 동양정신을 중요시 하였으며, 그 정신을 바탕으로 現代的인 감각체계와 새로운 表現方法을 모색하고 발전시켜 왔다. 本 論文에서는 한국화에 일반화 되어있는 抽象性의 개념에 대해 고찰해보고 이러한 경향을 표현함에 있어서 나타나는 造形的 특징도 함께 살펴보며, 한국화에 많은 영향을 주었던 앵포르멜(Informal)의 偶然性과 액션페인팅(Action Painting)의 자유로운 재료 활용을 함께 다룸으로써 韓國畵의 抽象性을 유추해 보았다. 藝術作品이란 단순한 자연의 모방이 아니고, 자연의 섭리에 따라 일상의 생각으로 뒤섞인 心底에서 찾아내는 內面의 진실을 表現하기 위하여 주관적으로 造形化하는 일이라고 본다. 本人은 조형화 작업을 표현함에 있어서 얼룩에 의한 偶然的 效果에서 조형성을 찾으려 했고, 얼룩뿐만 아니라 조형적인 面의 구성을, 채색이 가해진 한지를 이용한 꼴라지(Collage)방법으로 표현하였다. 이러한 本人의 종이작업은 表現 材料에 대한 새로운 해석으로, 고정적인 관념에서 탈피해 직접 화면위에서 面의 再構成을 통해 조형 공간의 意味를 표현하고자 한 것이다. 作品分析에서는 화면의 조형적 탐구와 技法과 표현의 可能性을 추구해나가며 창조적인 새로운 造形世界를 찾기 위한 자율적인 실험을 반복하면서 本人 作品에 대한 새로운 방향을 모색하고자 한다.
