초월적 감성과 상황표현을 통한 "내면성" 추구

Abstract

현대 예술가는 분명하고 일반적으로 따를 만하다고 여겨지는 노선(route)을 더 이상 갖고 있지 않다.^(1)) 그러나 이러한 방향성의 결여는 예술가에게 새로운 자유를 가져다 주었다. 즉 현대 예술은 전통적 예술과는 달리 열려져 있음을 뜻하여 많은 전위 예술로서의 모험과 실험작업이 거듭 되지만 이제는 마냥 열려 있지만 않다는 자각으로 회화에 있어서의 반성, 전통과 과거에의 회귀적인 성향을 보여주고 있다. 스피노자의 말처럼 이 코스모스는 투명하게 열려진 창문으로서 화가 자신들의 발랄한 정보감각이나 언어, 소재, 방법론 등에서 80년대의 비교적 수평적이고 공동화된 작업형태를 향해 탈무드를 선언하고 그대신 개별자적인 자신의 코스모스를 확보해 나가려는 움직임이 지금 한국화단의 두드러진 양상이라 할 수 있다. 본인의 작품도 이러한 자유자재한 자기언어의 구축과 인간성, 현실성에 대한 최전선에서의 응축된 이입, 포스트 모던 이후의 개별화된 창틀을 향해 용해된 결과들을 구속된 인연들을 떠나서 焦點을 이루고자 한다. 내용면에서는 인간성에 대한 반문과 자각, 현대문명에 대한 검증과 고발의 시각으로 과거의 관념세계로 부터 보다 더 인간적이고 현실적인 소재들에 대해 자각하고 재발견 하려는 의지는 이른바 누보레알리즘, 즉 신사실주의를 비롯한 쉬르레알리즘, 표현주의 등의 각종 근대적 소산의 사조를 기조로한 1960년대 이후 유럽의 신구상회화의 역사관과 세계관을 참고로 하고 있으며 방법론에서는 마치 무정부주의를 방불할 만큼의 다각적인 전개로 화면상에 보여줄 수 있는 표현적인 종합주의를 취하고 있다. 예술작품은 현실세계를 탈피하고 싶어하며, 동시에 그 자체(예술작품)의 모든요소들을 현실세계와 연결지어 놓으려 하는 속성을 지니고 있다는 아도르노(Theodor, W.Adorno)의 말처럼 신 사실성이 강한 자유스러운 형상과 표현양상이나 구도배치가 시간의 초월, 현상에서 비롯된 것으로서 초월적 감성과 상황표현을 통한 내면성의 추구라는 본 연구 논문은 이 시대를 살아가는 작가로서 다함께 공감할 수 있는 내용적인 면과 실험적인 표현방법을 시도하고 있다. 끝으로 이 연구를 통하여 격동하고 급변하는 오늘날의 미술상황 속에서 진정한 예술의 의미를 다시한번 생각하며 나름대로의 노력과 선택의 범주를 넓혀 깊이있고 자유스러운 회화세계를 구축해 나가고자 한다.;Modern artists have not any route that seems desirable to follow genreally, any more. This lack of orientation, however, brought to artists newer liberty. That is, it means that modem art is opened unlikely with traditional art, while there is shown a tendency of regression to the traditional and past upon reflection in painting with a recognition that now it is not opended all the way though adventure and experimental work as avant-garde art is repetitive. As Spinoza's statement, the cosmos is a window opended transparently. In spirited sense of information. Language, material or methodology of artists' own, the movement of such kind that advocates to escape from the mood of rather horizontal and commonized work froms of the years of 80's and that, instead of it, tries to secure the cosmos of himself as an individual may now be said a distinguished tread of the circle of painting in Korea today. My work also intends to establish a collective focus point, escaped from retricting contexts, of the results desoluted via this construction of free self-language, importation condensed in the frontier of humanity and reality, and frame of window individualized after the post-modern. In the aspect of content, the will to recognize and reexplore into the more human and realistic materials than those from the past world of idea and concept, from a viewpoint of quest and recognition of humanity, and verification and complaint on modem civilizatin, stands with reference to the view of history and world of the neo-plastic arts in Europe after the years of 1960's which is based on every kind of 'ism's of modern birth such as not only neo-realism but also surrealism and expressionism. And, methologocially, it takes on a expressive syntheticism which can show on a canvas diversified developments almost comparable to anarchism. This study, focused on a persult of internality through transcendental emotion and situatin-expression where free shaping with strong neo-reality is needed and expressional mode or structual placement must be led from transcendence of time and phenomena, as Theodor, W.Adorno's statement that artwork wants to escape from the real world, and, at the same time, it has an attribute to connect all the elements, of its own to the real world, attempts to present such aspect of content and experimental expressive method that may fall in a common feeling of the artists who live this time. Thinkirig once more of the true meaning of art in this rapidly changing circumstances of art to today, incidentally, it is hoped that this study may contribute to build up a deep and free world of art based on more efforts in liberty and widened criteria of chico.
