음악의 지적 이해를 돕는 학습지도의 원리와 과정에 관한 연구

Abstract

음악의 심미적 이해와 음악 행위는 음악의 지적 이해를 통해서 이루어지기 때문에 음악 교육은 음악의 지적 이해와 깊은 관련이 있다. 음악의 지적 이해는 음악 요소들의 지각 결과로부터 생겨나고, 음악 개념의 적용 결과로 생긴다. 본 논문에서는, 음악 교육에서 지도하여야 할 지적 요소인 음악의 개념을 지도함에 있어서 어린이가 다양한 음악적 체험을 통해 음악의 지적 요소를 이해하도록 하기 위하여, Piaget와 Bruner의 이론을 분석, 종합해 실제적으로 학습 과정에 적용함으로써 유용성 있는 지도 원리와 과정을 제시하고자 한다. 본 논문에서는 음악의 지적 요소를 개념적 접근 방법으로 지도하기 위하여 국민학교 4, 5학년 음악 학습 과정을 그 연구 대상으로 하고 그들의 음악 학습에 적합한 음악의 구성 요소를 학습 내용으로 선정하였다. 그리고 Piaget의 발달 단계에서 국민학교 4, 5학년에 해당되는 구체적 조작기의 특징을 고찰하고, Bruner의 학습 과정의 이론에 근거하여, 음악의 지적 이해를 돕는 학습 지도 원리와 과정을 제시하였다. 그리고 국민학교 4, 5학년 음악 교과서의 교재곡을 연계성을 고려하여 음악의 개념 별로 내용을 구성하고, 그 개념을 이해하는 데 도움을 줄 학습 활동을 제시하였다. 본 논문이 앞으로의 학습 지도 과정과 원리를 연구하는 데 있어서 새로운 방향 모색의 기초 자료가 되기를 기대한다.;As the basic ability of knowing music and musical acts are accomplished through the intel lectual comprehension, music education has deeply related with intellectual comprehension of music. Intellectual comprehension of music results from perceptual consequence of musical elements and from application of musical concepts. In this study, to help children comprehend musical elements more intellectually by providing various musical experiences, in guiding concepts of the musical elements-intellectual elements which should be guided in music education, the writer intended to present available guiding principles and process, by applying Piaget's and Bruner's principies as being analysed and synthesized to learning process practically. In this study, to guide intellectual elements of music by conceptional approach, the writer prescribed musical elements, such music learning curriculum of 4th-5th grades elementary school as the subject of this study. The study was focused on the musical character of concret operation stage which is corresponding to 4th-5th grade of elementary school basing on Piaget's development stage; on the musical learning process and principle which are used for understanding music intellectually basing on Bruner's learning principle. As well as the study presented learning activity which is used for developing the concepts, by organizing songs of music textbook of elementary school (corresponding 4th-5th grade) into conceptualized contents with sequence.
