할당모델에 의한 한국 정신의료사회사업의 전문성 고찰

Abstract

본 논문은 전문직을 분석하기 위한 이론의 하나인 할당모델을 틀로 삼아 한국 정신의료사회사업의 현황 및 문제점을 분석하여 전문성을 고찰해 보고 이에 따른 방안제시로 전문성 확립에 기여하고자 하는데 그 목적이 있다. I 장에서는 한국 정신의료사회사업의 전문성 고찰의 목적과 연구를 위한 문제를 제기해 보았다. 그리고 Ⅱ장에서는 정신의료사회사업과 할당모델의 일반적인 이론적 배경과 전문성에 관계된 면을 살펴보았다. 이를 토대로 할당모델을 통한 한국 정신의료사회사업의 현황을 치료 Setting에서의 역할을 중심으로 구조적이고 기능적인 측면에서 분석하고 제기되는 문제점을 Ⅲ장에서 제시해 보았다. 즉 구조적인 측면의 현황과 문제점을 법제도적, 의식구조적, 교육 구조적인 세 영역에서 살펴보았고, 기능적인 측면으로는 실무현장에서의 업무영역을 중심으로 파악해 보았다. 전문성을 저하하는 여러 문제점이 지적되는 가운데 전문적 역할 수행능력에 대한 문제제기와 함께 이를 위한 전문교육제실시가 가장 절실하고도 근본적인 전문성 확립방안책으로 요청되었다. 따라서 Ⅳ장에서는 구조적 측면의 법제도적 문제들로서 자격규정, 역할규정 및 보상체계와 관련된 개선책들을 제시해 보았고, 기능적 측면에서는 업무영역의 고유영역과 중첩영역에서의 활성화 방안을 모색해 보았다. 세 번째 전문교육제실시의 구체적인 대안으로써 임상수련 Model을 개발, 명시함으로써 한국 정신의료사회사업의 전문성 확립의 중요성을 강조하였다.;As society advanced, many kinds of complicated problems developed, necessitating the profession. And in the devision of service between the professions, conflict occurved when boundaries of the devision were trespassed upon. Though in the past social workers had worked in the psychiatric setting successfully, they began to face conflict stemming from this division of service Though this study, chapter I revel the prroblems related to social work as profession in the present Korean society together with methodolgy in approaching this subject. Then chapter II the theoretical background dealing with definitions and theory model are discussed in order to help understand the over-all concept of psychiatric social work. Based on the perspective present by the above Assignment model, chapter Ⅲ analyies and examines the present conditions of psychiatric social work as a professsion on the assignment. According to the assignment model, social work has not been recognized as profession because its domain which still has not seen assigned as a problem-solving system. Thesedays the importance of team work is gradua increasing in the treatment of psychiatric patient. According a psychiatric social worker is very aften involved in the therapeutic team. The theoretical educaiton and clinial training for a psychiatric social worker must be offered in balance to play his role and be acknowledge his professional standard in the therapeutic team. But the clinical training is not yet systematized as much as the theoretical education. So like the internship and residency model of other professionals the clinical training model of a psychiatric Social work needs to be set up urgently. In conclusion, to operate the clinical training system for a psychiatric social work the social work community must develop and conduct the clinical training model, and then must control the quality of a psychiatric social worker and try to get the social saction and futher to extablish its legal system.
