국민학교 6학년 교과의 평가지 분석

Abstract

Evaluation of educational results can be defined as the course of measuring and judging that how much the educational purposes described in curriculum are achieved through actual educational activities of school. The purpose of this study is to find to what degree commercially made test papers for commercial being recently used in schools can measure educational purposes. For he purpose, I analyzed content validity, item satisfaction and reliabity in the test papers of Korean language, Social study, Mathematics and Science which were performed at an elementary school in Seoul to total 324 boys and girls of sixth grade in October, 1988. The results showed that in regard to content validity, the subject of korean language and Social study had impartial content range, while Mathematics placed much portion on 'integer' and Science placed much portion on 'environmental pollution' and little on 'preservation of nature'. In behavioral range, it was found that the items on knowledge and understanding took much portion. But there were no or few items on adaption and inquiry. All four curriculums showed poverty in item difficulty but satisfaction in item discrimination. And item response distribution was good since wrong answers were evenly distributed which each small portion, although it flew mainly into correct answers. However, when synthesized item satisfaction, the four were all poor, and they were on the whole satisfactory in reliability. According, there seem to be a problem in selecting outside made test papers for commercial without thought to evaluate achivemetn in school. Attempt use the papers correctly in schools, it requires for school to make a small commettee for selecting tests and to analyze throughout content validity, item satisfaction and reliability.;교육결과에 대한 평가란 교육과정(curriculum)에 명시된 교육목표가 학교에서 이루어지는 현실적인 교육활동을 통해 어느정도까지 달성되었는지를 재어보고 판단하는 과정이라고 할 수 있다. 본 연구는 최근 학교현장에서 사용하고 있는 외부의 상업용으로 제작된 평가지가 얼마나 교육목표를 잘 측정하고 있는지를 알아보기 위한 것이다. 이를 위하여 본 연구에서는 1988년 10월에 실시한 서울시내 한 국민학교 6학년 남·녀 324명의 국어, 사회, 산수, 자연과 평가지를 분석하였다. 평가지 분석은 내용타당도, 문항양호도, 신뢰도에 국한 하였으며 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 분석결과, 내용타당도 국어, 사회과 내용영역은 고르게 출제되었으며 산수과에서 '정수'에 많은 비율을 두었으며, 자연과에서는 '환경오염' 에 많은 비율을 두었고, '자연보존'에 관한 출제 비율은 적은 편이었다. 행동영역에서 지식과 이해에 대한 문항이 많은 비율을 차지하였고 적용이나 탐구에 대한 문항은 없거나 적게 출제됨을 알 수 있었다. 문항곤란도는 네 교과 모두 불량하였으며 문항변별도는 네 교과모두 양호한 편으로 나타났다. 문항반응분포도 정답에 많이 몰려 있지만 오답이 적은 비율로 고르게 분포되어 대체로 양호한 편이었다. 그러나 문항양호도를 종합하여 볼 때 네 교과 모두 불량하였으며 신뢰도는 대체로 만족스러운 수준이었다. 따라서, 외부에서 상업용으로 제작된 평가지를 무분별하게 학교현장에서 채택하여 학력을 평가하는 것은 다소 문제가 있다고 보여진다. 외부에서 상업용으로 제작된 평가지는 학교 현장에서 올바로 사용하기 위하여 각 학교별로 외부에서 상업용으로 제작된 평가지 채택을 위한 소위원회 같은 것을 만들어 그 평가지의 내용타당도, 문항양호도, 신뢰도에 대한 철저한 분석을 선행함이 요구된다고 하겠다.
