아동의 표현활동에 나타난 개념화에 관한 연구

Abstract

동서양을 막론하고 부모들은 아동교육에 대하여 많은 관심을 기울여 왔으며 우리나라 부모들도 전통적으로 아동교육에 깊은 관심을 갖고 교육시켜 왔다. 그러나 국내 교육제도의 여러 조건으로 인하여 어린이의 특성이나 개인차를 무시하고 미술교육을 마치 과외공부를 시키듯이 무조건 주입식으로 교육해 오는 경향이 있다. 어린이의 조형활동의 발달은 그 주위환경과 사회구조에의해 변해간다. 성격이나 능력의 차이와 함께 일반적으로 생활환경 또한 아동 개개인의 발달에 그 차이를 보인다. 부모의 가열된 교육열은 하루속히 그들의 자녀를 훌륭하게 키워 보겠다는 욕망에서 부모가 좋아하는 理想에 ?아 자녀들의 速成 성장을 바라고 있다. 그러나 자녀들은 정신이나 정서적인 면에 있어 정상적인 발달을 가져오기 보다는 知的 技術的 성장의 불균형적 발달을 꾀하여 인간적인 올바른 성장을 기대하기 어렵고 이에따라 아동의 대담성과 創意力이 크게 결여되는 결과를 초래하게 된다. 본 연구의 대상은 7-9 세의 도식기로서 이때의 아동들은 신체적, 정신적으로 예민한 감각을 가지고 있어 주변 환경의 영향을 받아 槪念畵로 굳어질 수 있는 시기이므로 바람직한 미술 교육의 필요성이 절실히 요구된다 따라서 본 연구에서는 다음과 같은 연구문제를 선정하였다. 1. 槪念畵가 성장기 아동의 표현활동에 어떤 영향을 줄것인가 2. 槪念畵를 그리는 아동에 영향을 주는 要因들은 어떠한 것들이 있는가 3. 槪念畵의 벽을 어떻게 깨뜨릴 것이며 그 방법론적 접근연구는 가능한 것인가 본 연구는 7-9세 아동의 작품을 학년별로 200매씩 수집하고 다시 남. 녀별 분포를 100명씩으로 하여 문헌조사와 조사자의 분류기준에 따라 槪念畵된 집단과 創意的인 집단, 中間집단의 3 개 집단으로 나누었다. 3개 집단의 학년별, 남녀별, 槪念畵 분포를 조사하여 내용, 형식, 방법의 유형에 따른 분포를 알아보고 색채 사용 가지수에 따른 각 집단의 특징을 조사하여 槪念畵된 그림의 그 주요 특징을 분석해 보았다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 문헌연구와 작품의 분석 결과 槪念畵된 아동의 그림이 創意的인 그림을 그리는 아동보다 훨씬 많이 나타났고 특히 男兒에 비해 女兒들이 많은 槪念畵된 그림을 보여 주었다. 따라서 槪念畵가 아동의 표현 활동에 많은 영향을 주고 있다는 점이다. 2. 문헌연구와 작품의 색채 사용빈도에 따른 분석결과 비개념화된 그림을 그리는 아동의 색채 사용이 더 다양하고 개념화된 그림을 그리는 아동의 색감은 단조로운 것으로 나타났다. 3. 창의적인 표현활동을 하는데는 환경조건 많이 작용하는 것으로 나타났다. 그림을 잘 그려야 한다는 마음의 부담을 덜어주고 모든 규칙과 속박의 생활에서 벗어나 자유로운 환경 조건에서 그릴 수 있도록 주변 환경을 조성해야 한다는 점이다.;This thesis has been written to examine the influence of conceptual picture upon the children's (7-9 years old) expressional activities. Also I have tried to define the conceptual picture at the same time. At last I have tried to contribute to the basic materials needed for creative expressional activities by comparing the difference between the Pictures that are conceptualized and not conceptualized according to the patterns of art activities. The following study items have been selected in the thesis. 1. What kind of influence will the conceptual picture bring to the expressional activities upon the children in growing process? 2. What are the elements that influence the children to draw conceptual pictures? 3. How can we break down the wall of conceptual picture and how do we have to approach and make a research? First, I have collected 200 pieces of drawings sent by each grade of primary school and classified them into a group of 100 each based on male and female. Secondly, I then classified them into 3 groups-conceptualized group, creative group, and in-between group-in accordance with "Guidelines for Expressional Characteristics of Conceptualized Picturer" devised by me based on theoretical background, using "Primary School's Low Grade Students' Guideline For the Evaluation and Improvement of Painting" and l-2 Grade Students' Educational Course of Art" by the Ministry of Education as reference. I have identified the distributional situation of the 3 groups classified into each grade and each sex. I have also identified the distributional situation based on the contents, pattern, and method. I also examined characteristics of each group based on the number of colors used for the drawings. Then I made analysis of the important characteristics of the conceptualized pictures. The finding was as follows ; 1. There were more pictures drawn by the conceptualized children than the pictures drawn by creative children, Specially female drawings were more conceptualized than those drawn by male drawings. This shows that conceptualized pictures have much influence on childrens' expressional activities. 2. Upon examining colors of the drawings I have found that non-conceptualized children use more colors whereas conceptualized children use less kind of colors. 3. Environmental condition he been found to be an important element in creative expressional activities. It is, therefore, important to release childrens' mental burden to draw pictures so that the children may be able to draw pictures in free atmosphere.
