국민학교 4,5,6학년의 음악과목 교사용 지도서의 내용에 대한 연구

Abstract

본 논문은 국민학교 음악교육에 중요한 역할을 하는 음악 교과목의 교사용 지도서에 게재된 학습 목표와 이를 위한 학습 내용 및 교수법을 조사해봄으로써 담임교사가 음악을 가르칠 때 실용적인 도움을 줄 수 있는지를 알아보기 위함이다. 본 논문에서는 4, 5, 6학년의 교사용 교본을 다루고 있다. 음악과목의 교사용 지도서는 3부로 나누어져 있다. 제1부인 '음악과의 지도'에서는 음악을 지도하는 교사에게 음악 과목의 특징, 음악 교육의 중요성 및 음악 교육의 이론에 대하여 서술하고 있다. 또한 제1부에서는 음악 교육의 이상적인 목표로서 포괄적인 음악교육에 대한 것을 제시하고 있다. 즉, 지도서는 담임교사들이 음악의 모든 영역을 다루고 통합적으로 지도할 것을 강조하는 것이다. 이외에도 제1부에서는 지도서의 편찬 방향에 관한 설명도 곁들이고 있다. 2부인 '지도의 실제'에서는 교과서에 수록된 20개의 제재곡에 대한 학습 목표, 학습의 내용과 활동, 그리고 교수법에 대해 구체적으로 서술하고 있다. 즉, 차시별 수업 전개안을 게재하여 가창, 연주, 창작, 감상의 영역에서 학습할 활동과 지도법을 지시하고 있는 것이다. 제2부는 이외에도 수업시의 준비물, 참고 자료, 그리고 피아노 반주 악보도 수록하고 있다. 제3부인 '즐거운 노래와 기악 합주'에서는 교사가 음악 수업을 진행해 나가면서 적절하게 활용하기 위한 보조 자료로 기악 합주곡은 수록되어 있지 않고 단지 제2부의 본 제재곡 이외의 곡과 반주 악보를 수록하고 있다. 제1부에서 제시한 음악 교육의 목표가 실제적인 학습 방법으로 어떻게 나타나는지 평가해본 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 포괄적인 음악교육을 위하여 지도서의 내용은 음악의 모든 영역을 실제로 다루고 있고 통합하여 지도할 것을 강조하고는 있으나 이를 위해 다양하고 창의적인 학습 내용과 교수법을 제시하지는 못하고 있다. 2. 차시별로 본 학습 내용은 단계적으로 어려운 정도를 더 해나가고 있으나 아동의 흥미를 고려한 다양한 내용과 구체적인 학습지시가 부족하고 지도의 실제면에서 실용적인 지침이 미비하다. 3. 학습을 위한 준비물과 참고자료 부분은 지도서에 많이 다루어야할 것 중의 하나임에도 불구하고 내용과 양의 다양성이 없으므로 실제로는 교사를 돕는데 그 역할을 다하지 못하고 있다. 한국의 국민학교 음악 교육은 교육을 전공하지 않은 담임교사가 국정 교과서인 음악 교과서에 전적으로 의존하여 진행하고 있다. 그러므로 성공적인 국민학교 음악교육을 위해서는 바람직한 내용의 교사용 지도서가 반드시 필요하다. 바람직한 교사용 지도서의 방향을 제시하면 다음과 같다. 1. 포괄적인 음악 교육을 위하여 효율적인 학습 내용과 교수법에 대해 많은 연구가 필요하고 학습 자료를 개발하여 교사용 지도서에 구체적으로 학습 방법을 제시함으로써 실제적인 도움을 줄 필요가 있다. 2. 지도서에 적절한 교수법이라든가 교수 자료, 또는 교수에 관련된 참고 문헌에 관한 내용을 더 확충하여 학생들이 다양하고 풍부한 음악적 경험을 갖게 하는데 담임교사에게 도움을 줄 수 있도록 자료를 제공한다면 필요한 때에 손쉽게 이용할 수 있는 좋은 길잡이가 될 수 있다. 3. 지도서에 수록된 반주 악보에 코드(Chord)를 첨부하여 기록한다면 교사가 융통성 있는 반주를 할 수 있다. 본 논문은 지도서의 체제와 내용만을 연구하였다. 그러므로 실제 국민학교에서 지도서가 어떻게 쓰이는지, 교사의 입장에서 보완해줄 점은 무엇인지 등을 조사하고 현장에서 쓰일 교수 방법 등에 대한 광범위한 실험 연구가 있기를 기대한다.;The purpose of this thesis is to examine the contents of the music teacher's manuals for the Fourth Fifth and Sixth grades in the elementary School. Teacher's manual plays an important role in the elementary music education. Since music is taught by the classroom teachers who did not major music in most cases. The music teacher's manual is divided into three parts. Part one Instruction of Music' describes the characteristics of music, the importance of music education and other theories about music education. Also it suggests a purpose of music education and shows the direction of compilation of the teacher's manual. Part Two 'Progress of Instruction' practically describes the aims of learning twenty songs which are included in the textbook. Also it has reserve stock, reference and piano accompaniment section. Part Three 'Happy Songs and Instrumental Ensemble' provides additional materials to help Classroom teachers. But it includes only vocal ensembles of piano accompaniment. The Contents of the teacher's manual can be evaluated as following. 1. For comprehensive music education, the teacher's manual practically handles every domain of music and emphasizes integrative education. But it does not shows various and creative class-activities and course of study. 2. Class activities which found in different class hours need variety by stages. But teacher's manual does not have various materials which consider the interests of children. Teacher's manual needs more practical a specific methods for instruction. 3. The reserved stock and reference materials are the necessities of the teacher's manual, but they are insufficient and do not give much of help to classroom teachers. In the elementary schools in Korea, the classroom teacher who did not major in music depends completely on the government designated music textbooks and teaching manuals. So, for more successful music education the need for desirable teacher's manuals are immediated crucial things to music educators. Followings are more desiable directions to edit a compile the future teacher's manual in musics. 1. For comprehensive music education, to every children the efficient course of study and development off study materials manu to be expanded. So the must practically assist the teachers as a ready made materials to save time and efforts. 2. A proper course of study, guide of concerned references and more references are needed in order to make a high quality musical experiences. 3. To assist teachers who lacks piano accompaninent skill the writing of chords on each note are required. This thesis examined only the purpose and contents of the teacher's manuals. So the writer expects someone to investigate experimental study concerning to this topic to find out the organization, Process, and the consiquence of the contents.
