유치원과 국민학교 1학년 음악교재에 관한 연구

Abstract

본 연구는 음악적 능력발달의 가장 적절한 시기인 유치원과 국민학교 1학년 연령의 음악적 특성에 대한 이론적 규명을 전제로 하고 유치원과 1학년의 음악교재를 비교분석하여 어린이의 발달에 맞게 되어 있는지 살펴보고 유치원과 국민학교 1학년의 음악교육이 연계성을 가지고 있는지 보려는데 목적을 둔다. 이와 같은 목적을 달성하기 위한 연구문제는 다음과 같다. 1. 유치원과 국민학교1학년 음악교육의 목표는 무엇인가? 2. 유치원과 국민학교1학년 음악교육의 내용은 어떠한가? 3. 유치원과 국민학교1학년 음악교재에 수록된 노래는 어린이의 음악적 특성에 맞게 선정되어 있는가? 위의 문제를 분석하기 위한 연구의 대상을 '유아교육지도자료집'과 '즐거운 생활' 교사용지도서이며 각 권에 제시된 목표와 내용을 비교해보고 각 책에 수록된 노래를 내용, 조성, 형식, 박자와 리듬, 음역의 면에서 분석하였다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 1학년의 음악과는 '바람직한 음악의 체험을 통하여 음악성을 계발하고 풍부한 정서와 창조성을 길러 조화로운 인격을 형성하게 한다'는 교과목표아래 기본능력, 표현능력, 감상능력으로 나뉘어 구체적인 소목표가 제시되어 있다. 유치원의 음악교육목표는 별도로 제시되어 있지 않고 음악에 관한 것은 5개 영역중 정서발달영역에 서술되어 있다. 정서발달영역중 심미영역에서 '여러가지 사실이나 현상의 아름다움을 보고 감동할 줄 알며 느끼고 경험한 바를 다양한 활동을 통해 창의적으로 표현하는 태도를 기른다'는 목표아래 감상, 창의적 표현으로 나뉘어 각각의 목표가 제시되어 있다. 2. 국민학교 음악과 교육은 그 내용이 크게 기본능력, 표현능력, 감상능력의 3가지 영역으로 구분되어 있으며 1학년에서 6학년까지 단계적으로 내용이 제시되어 있다. 유치원의 음악활동내용은 생활주제에 따라 노래부르기, 손유희, 음악감상, 리듬악기놀이등이 포함되며, 유치원 연령에서 습득할 수 있는 음악능력에 대해서는 세부적인 제시가 되어 있지 않다. 3. 노래를 비교분석해본 결과, 유치원과 국민학교1학년 노래는 다양한 소재의 내용으로 되어 있으나 중복된 내용이 발견되었다. 조성에 있어서는 유치원 노래가 1학년 노래보다 조의 종류가 다양하게 나타났으며, 박자와 리듬에 있어서도 1학년 노래의 대부분이 쉬운 박자와 단순한 리듬인 반면 유치원노래는 어린이에게 어려운 박자와 무리한 리듬의 노래가 여러곡 수록되어 있다. 형식면에 있어서 어린이들이 쉽게 부를 수 있는 12마디 이내의 곡이 1학년노래에서는 84.2%, 유치원노래는 61.7%가 수록되어 있으며 노래의 음역에 있어서는 1학년노래의 모든 곡이 가창음역내에 있는 사실에 비해 유치원노래는 어린이의 가창음역을 초과한 노래가 상당수 수록되어 있다. 본 연구의 결과에서, 현재 사용하고 있는 '유아교육지도자료집'의 노래중 많은 곡이 유아들에게 적합하다고 할 수 없는 것이 발견된 이상 자료집의 재검토 내지 재편성이 있어야 한다고 본다. 앞으로 있을 새로운 교재는 국민학교와 연계성을 가지고 어린이의 음악적 특성을 고려하여 보다 체계적인 목표와 내용으로 구성되어야 할 것이다.;The phrpose is to compare the kindergarten music textbooks with those of the first grade of elementary school and analyze them, to examine whether they correspond to children's developmental characteristics whether t h e music education of kindergarten and the first grade have a connection each other. The music education of the first grade presents the goal which 'the musicality of children is enlightened, through desirable musical experiences and the harmonious emotion and creativity'. On the contrary', the goal of music is not presented in kindergarten education. 2. The spheres of music education contents in the first grade are divided into three, as like the basic capability, the expression capability, and the appreciation capability. And the music activities of kindergarten contain singing, appreciation, the play of hand movements and the play of rhythm instruments. 3 . The songs of the first grade are estimated that they are selected to correspond to children's musical characteristics, On the other hand, those of kindergarten have many problems in the aspect of composition, length, rhythm and voiceranges. The conclusion derived from the results. The music education of kindergarten should be carried out coinciding with children's growth, connecting with that of elementary school.
