사회계층에 따른 부부의 권력과 폭력과의 관계

Abstract

본 논문에서는 사회계층에 따라 부부권력유형과 부부폭력수준이 어떤 차이를 나타내는지 밝히고, 나아가 부부권력유형과 부부폭력수준과의 관계를 파악하고자 하였다. 연구대상은 서울시 소재의 9개 고등학교에 재학중인 남녀 고등학생 492명이었다. 가정의 부부들을 연구대상으로 하지 않고 제3자인 그들의 청소년 자녀로 하여금 본 연구문제들을 진단하게 함으로써 이를 객관적이고 현실적으로 파악하고자 하였다. 측정도구는 부부권력유형을 측정하기 위해서 본 연구자가 관련 선행연구를 근거로 부부권력의 측정도구를 작성하였으며, 부부폭력수준을 측정하기 위해서는 Straus(1979)의 CTS를 번역, 수정하여 사용하였다. 수집된 자료의 분석을 위해서 요인분석, χ^2 검증, 일원변량분석, Duncan's Multiple Range Test, 상관관계분석, 중다회귀분석을 하였으며 신뢰도 검증을 위해 Cronbach'α를 산출하였다. 주된 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 사회계층에 따라 부부권력유형은 유의한 차이가 나타났는데, 사회계층이 높을수록 부부권력유형은 일치형이 많이 나타났으며, 사회계층이 낮을수록 부인지배형이 많이 나타났다. 2. 사회계층에 따라 부부의 언어적 공격과 신체적 폭력은 유의한 차이가 나타났는데, 사회계층이 낮을수록 부인에 대한 남편의 언어적 공격과 신체적 폭력, 남편에 대한 부인의 언어적 공격이 더욱 많이 행해지고 있었다. 3.부부권력유형이 남편지배형이거나 부인지배형일 때 남편은 부인에게 언어적 공격과 신체적 폭력을 많이 행하는 것으로 나타났다.;The purpose of this study was to investigate the differences of conjugal power type and conjugal violence level according to social class. This study was also intended to examine the relations between conjugal power type and conjugal violence level. The subjects of this study were 492 high school student in Seoul. Conjugal power was measured with questionnaire based on several power studies. And CTS (Conflict Tactics Scale) was used to measure the conjugal violence level. For the statistical analysis of data, factor analysis, χ^2, Pearson's r, F-test, Multiple regressing and Cronbach's α for reliability were performed. The major results of this study were summarized as follows; 1. There were significant differences according to social class in conjugal power type : The higher social class of the family, the more Syncratic Type were found. And the lower social class of the family, the more Dominant Type were found. 2. There were significant differences according to social class in conjugal violence level : Couples of the lowest class appeared to be more verbal aggression and physical violence. 3. The most severe Husband-to-Wife verbal aggression and Physical violence were appeared when the conjugal power type is either Husband Dominant Type or Wife Dominant Type.
