한국화 지도에 관한 교과서 활용실태 조사연구

Abstract

현재 우리나라의 미술교육에서 크나큰 문제점으로 지적되고 있는 것은 전통미술에 대한 무관심과 미술재료 사용의 단조로움, 그리고 이론교육 편중 등의 제문제점일 것이다. 그 중에서도 특히 우리나라의 전통미술에 대한 무관심은 미술교육의 심각한 현실을 표출하고 있는 실정에 있다. 이러한 점은 금후로도 미술교과서 제작시에 많이 개선되어야 할 것이며 또한 매우 당연한 일로써 수용되어야 할 것이다. 현행 교과서의 내용은 한국화 표현 내지 이해에 많은 비중을 두어 개편되고 있으나, 정작 고등학교 미술교육 현장에서는 한국화를 제대로 지도하고 있는 학교가 거의 없는 실정으로 한국화 미술교육의 목표달성에 크나큰 차질을 초래하고 있다. 이에 대한 원인은 여러 가지로 지적할 수 있겠으나, 본 論文에서는 미술교과서 자체에 문제점이 있는 것으로 판단되어 이에 촛점을 맞춰 연구분석을 시도하였다. 즉 한국화 지도에 관한 교과서 활용실태를 분석하여 한국화 교육의 바람직한 방향을 제시하는 데에 그 목적을 두고 있다. 따라서, 본 연구의 목적달성을 위하여 중점적으로 분석하고자 한 문제는 다음과 같다. 1. 現行 고등학교 미술과 교육과정에서 한국화 영역은 어떤 비중을 차지하고 있는가? 2. 現行 고등학교 미술교과서에서 한국화 영역은 어떤 내용을 어느 정도 다루고 있는가? 3. 실제 교육현장에서 한국화 지도를 위한 교과서 활용실태는 어떠하며 그 문제점은 무엇인가? 이를 위해서 現行 고등학교 교육과정과 교과서를 중심으로 분석고찰하였으며, 연구대상은 부산시와 경상남도의 고등학교 교사를 대상으로 質間紙를 배부회수 및 우송법에 의하여 결과를 분석하였는바 그 결과를 정리하면 다음과 같다. 1. 現行 고등학교 교육과정에서는 우리나라 전통미술의 이해, 가치 등을 강조, 특히 우리 민족의 전통적인 表現에 뿌리를 둔 한국화의 表現활동을 비롯 민족미술의 表現과 감상활동의 내용, 민족미술문화에 대한 폭넓은 애호정신과 이를 실천화 하려는 내용으로 구성되었다. 2. 고등학교 미술교과서는 한국화에 관한 내용을 量的인 面에서의 증가뿐 아니라, 內容ㆍ體制面에 있어서도 체계적이고 深度있게 다루고 있으며, 교과서에 揭載된 도판 또한 素材面이나 技法面에서 매우 多樣하게 꾸며져 있음을 쉽사리 알 수가 있다. 3. 敎師들은 實際 敎育現場에서 제대로 교과서를 活用하지 않고 있는 것으로 分析되었다. 그 원인은 指導敎師의 관심과 指導能力이 不足하여 일선교사들이 敎科書만으로 韓國畵를 指導하는 데 理論的으로 不足하며 韓國畵 技法을 理解시키는 데에 어려움이 많기 때문이었다. 以上과 같은 點을 바탕으로 할 때 實際 敎育現場에서 제대로 敎科書를 活用하기 위해서는 韓國畵의 特徵 및 技法에 대한 體系的인 說明이 充分하도록 內容이 더 補完되어야겠고, 各種 연수기회를 넓혀 敎師의 指導能力을 向上시켜 가야 할 것으로 생각된다.;Many problems have been pointed out in our art education. And the indifference to the tradition of our art is one of them. Of course, these problems are now much improved. In the new art textbooks, the importance of the expression and understanding of the Korean Painting is emphasized. However, many art teachers don't make the most of the textbooks and the textbooks in themselves have many problems, too. Many reasons may be attributed to these phenomena, but this study is focused on finding out the reason and problem in the textbooks themselves. The aim of this study is to analyse the actual condition of application of the textbook in teaching the Korean painting and to suggest the reasonable direction of Korean painting education The specific aims of this study are as follows; 1. What percentage in the textbook does the field of the Korean painting form? 2. What contents of the Korean painting does the textbook have and how much? 3. How does the art teacher instruct and use the textbook in the classroom and what are the problems caused in the process of teaching? To study these aims, the textbooks being used now in the high school were analysed in detail and art teachers in Pusan and Kyung-sang-nam-do districts were asked many necessary questions and their responses were classified and computerized according to the themes. The results of this study are as follows; 1. Textbooks in high schools emphasize the understandings of the traditional Korean painting, the value of the Korean painting, the expression techniques of the Korean painting rooted in the tradition, the wide affection of national art culture, and the habituation of these attitudes. 2. Textbooks consist of in creasing Korean paintings not only in quantity but in quality and of various subject matters and techniques. 3. Most of art teachers rarely make use of the textbook in the classroom. The reason is that they are short of ability, interest, and theory in teaching with help of the textbook a lone. To solve these problems, the textbook should include more profound theories on the characteristic and techniques of the Korean painting and systematic explanations, and art teachers themselves have to improve their abilities to instruct the Korean painting efficiently through many kinds of training.
