파도의 律動的 構成에 관한 硏究

Abstract

造形的 活動은 作家의 表現 의지에 따라 어떤 物的 材料와 手段에 의하여 어느 空間에서 形成되는 가시적인 形象化를 말한다. 물론, 이는 外的 側面에서의 形象化이고, 한편 內的 側面에서 人間의 精神的 소산으로서의 美的인 것을 目的으로 形成되었을 때 造形藝術이 되는 것이다. 이와 같이 美的인 것을 表現하기 위하여 藝術家들은 여러가지 對象을 多樣한 方法으로 表現해 왔다. 특히 自然은 그 時代에 變함없이 많은 藝術家들의 素材로서 매우 多樣하게 利用되어 졌었다. 過去에는 藝術家들이 自然을 있는 그대로 直說的으로 再現해 왔었다. 그러나, 現代에 이르러서는 많은 藝術家들이 自然을 變形시켜 自身의 內的 심상인 形象化를 追求하고 있다. 즉, 現代에 와서의 美術은 構想美術로부터 점차로 作家의 感情이나 思想을 重視하는 抽象表現主義 形態로 나타나고 있는 것이다. 이러한 現狀은 工藝美術에서도 예외는 아니어서, 染色工藝가 오늘날에는 技能性 보다는 心美的 追求를 하는 造形表現의 한 部分으로서 位置를 굳혀 가고 있는 現實이다. 따라서 本 硏究者는 自然中에도 파도의 律動的 構成 課程에서 그 이미지를 통한 美的 體驗과 表現 可能性을 찾는데 硏究의 目的을 두었다. 이를 위한 理論的 背景으로는 自然의 美의 表現에 관하여 알아보고 形態의 變形, 表現樣式등을 文獻을 통하여 硏究하고 이를 土台로 作品 10점을 制作, 分析하여 다음과 같은 結論에 到達하게 되었다. 첫째, 自然은 人間에게 無秀한 藝術素材로서 登場되었으며, 또 그 作品들은 나름대로 무한한 表現 可能性을 보여 주었다. 또 作家들은 自然의 外的인 再現美가 아니라, 作家 나름대로의 變形에 의하여 새로운 自然을 創造하고 있는 것이다. 둘째, 自然의 이미지를 硏究者의 체험과 主管에 따라 表現하는 課程을 통하여 素材로 選定한 파도는 生動感있는 自然現象을 律動的으로 表現하기에 적절한 素材였다고 생각된다. 셋째, 분무염법의 表現效果와 方法에 대하여 알게 되고, 獨特한 效果와 表現 可能性을 알 수 있었다. 네째, 作品 制作中 분무염법은 比較的 번거로움이 덜하고 時間이 短縮되는 반면 한번에 짙은 濃度의 色相을 내게 되면 織物에 번지거나 하므로 세심한 注意를 요한다. 全體的으로 曲線의 形態와 반복을 위주로 한 파도의 느낌과 딱딱한 直線과의 융합에 아쉬운 部分도 있었지만, 多樣한 技法의 硏究를 繼續한다면 독특한 雰圍氣와 함께 무한한 可能性을 期待할 수 있을 것이다. 따라서, 本 硏究者는 이러한 問題點의 解決과 補完을 위한 끊임없는 硏究와 努力이 必要하고 또 앞으로 더욱 多樣한 染色 材料와 技法의 開發로 創造的 造形 藝術로서 染色 工藝를 發展시켜 나갈 수 있을 것이라 생각한다.;Plastic activity means a kind of visible composition formulated in certain spaces by certain method or physical material in accordance with artist's will to express. This is surely the process of formation in the aspect of exterial part and this is identified as plastic art when in the aspect of internal part something beautiful as the outspring of human spirit is composed as the end. Hence the expression of artist in order to express something beautiful variousely with the various methods. Especially nature has always been better subject of artists as tile object of many artists'. In the past, artists had expressed the nature directly as such. But nowadays many artists are pursuiting the formation of his internal mind by the transformation of nature. That is modern art is increasingly transferred from the conceptional to the fantastic. Phenomena like these are not exceptional, and the dyeing industrial arts are nowadays under the condition of making its value or position firmly as a part of plastic arts which seek for not the technic but the beautiful. Therefore I've laid the aim of this study on the development of experience to the beautiful and possibility to expression, through the images which had begotten in the process of composing waves moving rhythmically. As the theological backgrounds for this, studies about the expression of natural beauty, studies of formative transformation and the expressional styles through the preceding volumes, and analysis of 10 pieces of works maded on the bases of preceding studies made me concluded like these. First, nature has been considered to men and expressed uncountably as objects of arts, and the works have shown unlimited expressional possibility of its own to men. Also artists not as mere the copies of external nature but as the transformation or expression of their own kinds have created new world of nature. Secondly, through the process of expressing the natural image according to investor's experience and his subjective view of point, waves chosen as a object is considered to me to be aduquate to express the nature rhythmically. Thirdly, I have become to see the way and effect of expression of the spraying dyeing method, also the peculiar effect and the possibility of expression.
