일반청소년과 비행청소년간의 가치관 비교연구

Abstract

우리 사회의 급격한 경제성장 위주의 사회발전으로 인한 사회적, 문화적 변동으로 인해 가치관이 형성되는 시기에 있는 청소년들에게 가치관 혼란 현상이 나타나고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 가치관이 그 사람의 행동을 결정하는데 중요한 역할을 한다는 이론적 근거로, 청소년들이 바람직한 가치관을 정립하여 청소년기를 건실하게 보낼 수 있도록 지도하는 방안을 모색하려는데 그 목적이 있다. 본 연구의 표집대상은 인문계 남녀 고등학교 학생들과 소년원생들이며, 검사도구는 황응연, 이경혜의 개인가치관 검사와 대인가치관 검사를 사용하였다. 자료처리를 위한 통계적 분석은 일반고등학생과 소년원생을 각각 성별로 분류하여 패키지 프로그램 SPSS를 이용해서 t검증을 통계적 방법을 사용하였다. 본 연구에서 얻어진 결론은 다음과 같다. 1. 일반청소년과 비행청소년의 가치관 비교 개인가치관 검사에서 남자에 있어서는 비행청소년이 규칙성과 목적지향성에서 일반청소년보다 의의있게 높았으며 여자는 일반 청소년은 규칙성에서, 비행청소년은 다양성에서 의의있는 높은 반응을 나타내었다. 대인가치관 검사에서는 남자에게서만 유의한 차이가 나타났는데, 지지성과 독립성은 일반청소년이, 동조성과 지도성은 비행청소년이 높았다. 2. 일반청소년의 가치관 개인가치관 검사에서는 남학생은 다양성 요인에서 의의있게 높았고, 목적지향성 요인은 여학생이 높게 반응했다. 대인가치관 검사에서는 남학생이 여학생보다 호의성에 의의있는 높은 반응을 보였다. 3. 비행청소년의 가치관 개인가치관 검사에서는 남자가 규칙성 요인에서 의의있게 높았다. 대인가치관 검사에서는 남자가 호의성에서, 여자는 독립성에서 의의있게 높았다. 이상의 결과에서 두가지 검사의 12요인 중 지도성 요인의 평균치가 10점내외로 다른 요인에 비하여 비교적 낮은 것이 밝혀졌다. 이러한 연구 결과를 통해 부족한 요인을 함양시킬 수 있는 교육이 이루어져야 하며 점차 약화되어가는 가치교육 기능을 회생시켜 청소년들의 올바른 가치관 정립을 위한 지도에 힘을 기울여야 할 것이다.;The rapid economical development which has caused social and cultural changes in our society makes our juveniles confused in values. The purpose of this study, as a theoretical base that a person's values plays an important role in his behavior, is to find how to direct juveniles to establish desirable values and have sound aldolescence. The sampling objects of this study were students and juveniles delinquents. For this study, surveys of personal values and interpersonal values were used. About the statistic analysis for processing the data, writer classified juvenile delinquents and general high school students according to sex and inspected the difference of average by the use of t-test. The results were as follows: A. Comparison of values of general juvenile and juvenile delinquents 1. Result of survey of personal values In male juvenile delinquents were significantly higher in Orderliness and Goal Orientation than general high school students. In female general high school students were significantly higher in Orderliness and lower in Variety than juvenile delinquents. 2. Result of survey of interpersonal values Only male represented significant difference between the general high school students and juvenile delinquents. The general high school students were significantly higher in Support and Independence and lower in Conformity and Leadership than juvenile delinquents. B. Values of general juvenile 1. Result of survey of personal values The male was significantly higher in Variety and lower in Goal Orientation than the female. 2. Result of survey of interpersonal values The male was significantly higher in Benevolence than the female. C. Values of juvenile delinquents 1. Result of survey of personal values The male was significantly higher in Orderliness than the female 2. Result of ,survey of interpersonal values The male was significantly higher in Benevolence and lower in Independence than the female. Out of twelve factors of the two surveys, the factor of Leadership marked average about 10, which was comparatively lower than others. Therefore juveniles in our society need education to help them develope leadership much more. We should be restore the education of values and make the efforts to direct them to establish right values
