Abstract
本 硏究의 目的은 中等學校 體育主任敎師의 리이더쉽에 對하여 主任敎師自身의 知覺에 의한 리이더쉽 槪念과 組織構成員들의 知覺에 의한 리이더쉽 行動間의 差異를 밝히는데 그 目的이 있다. 硏究對象은 서울市內에 所在하는 32個 公立 中學校의 體育主任敎師 32名과 一般體育敎師 147名을 對象으로 標集하였다. 檢査道具는 Stogdill이 改造한 리이더쉽 行動記述質問紙(LBDQ-Form XII : Leadership Behavior Description Questionnaire)를 使用하였다. 資料處理는 서울大學校 電子計算所의 Vax 780의 S.P.S.S. 패키지 프로그램을 使用하여 電算處理하였으며 統計處理는 集團間의 比較를 보기 위하여 t 檢證을 하였고 出身大學과 勤務年限, 年齡等을 變數로 하는 變量分析을 各 要因別로 實施한 結果 다음과 같은 結論을 얻었다. 1. 主任敎師 自身의 리이더쉽 行動과 一般敎師에 의한 主任敎師의 리이더쉽 認識間에는 役割期待 要因을 除外한 全 要因에 걸쳐 1% 水準에서 有意한 差가 나타났다. 2. 職位別 出身大學間 性別間 比較에서는 主任敎師의 경우 自由許容 要因에서 男女間에 5 % 水準에서 有意한 差가 나타났고 一般體育敎師는 役割期待 要因에서 出身大學과 性別과의 相互作用에서 5% 水準에서 有意한 差가 났을 뿐 그 밖의 다른 要因에서는有意한 差가 나타나지 않았다. 3. 主任敎師 自身의 리이더쉽 分析에서는 리이더쉽 全 要因에 걸쳐 主任敎師의 出身大學間 差異가 나타나지 않았다. 勤務年限間, 年齡間 比較에서는 年齡에 따라 自由許容 要因에 5% 水準에서 有意한 差가 나타났다. 4. 一般體育敎師가 知覺하고 있는 主任敎師의 리이더쉽 分析에서는 敎師의 出身大學間 差異가 나타나지 않았다. 勤務年限間, 年齡間 比較에서는 課業要因에서 勤務年限과 年齡과의 相互作用에서 5% 水準에서 有意한 差가 나타났다.;The purpose of this study to survey the leadership style of head teacher teaching physical education in middle schools. The subjects were selected from 3 middle schools in Seoul. The sample included 3 head physical education teachers and 147 physical education teachers. LBDQ questionnaire was used to obtain data for this. The Leader Behavior Description Questionnaire (LBDQ) devised by Ralph M. Stogdill adapted to Korean situations was used to measure leadership behaviors. The data were analyzed using Vax 780 computer at Seoul National University. t-Tests were conducted to compare the differences of leadership style between head teachers and his or her fellow teachers. Two-way ANOVAs were also conducted to investigate leadership styles according to the areas of colleges, teaching experiences and ages. On the basis of the data collected for this study, the following conclusion were drawn: 1. There were significant differences between leadership behaviors (self) and the perceived leadership behaviors in all leadership components except for role assumption. 2. There was a significant difference in tolerance of freedom according to the sex in the head teacher group while there was a significant difference in role assumption according to the interaction areas of colleges and sex in the fellow teacher group. 3. No significant difference was shown according to the areas of colleges in head teacher group. And there was a significant difference in tolerance of freedom according to the age. 4. No significant difference was shown according to the areas of colleges in fellow teacher group. There was also a significant difference in itiation of structure according to the interaction teaching experience and age.
