프뢰벨의 "Mutter-und Koselieder" 분석

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the substance of Fro¨bel's Mutter-und Koselieder and based upon it, investigate his educational principles and concert of education. For this study, the researcher reviloved the related Iiterature especially Johnnes Pru¨ffer's Mutter-und Koselieder and Helmut Heiland's Die Symbolwelt F, Fro¨bel. Main issues of this study consist of three questions as follows : 1. What is the educational principles of Mutter-und Koselieder? 2. What is the origin of Mutter-und Koselieder, and how is it composed? 3. What is the substance of Mutter-und Koselieder? The result of study is as follows : 1. The basic educational principle revealed in Mutter-und Koselieder is "mediation". That is to say that principle lies in mediating between a newborn baby and a kindergarten child. And the principle of mediation operates on a baby to become with God through spiral process of education which begins with its simple relationship with mother and ends in moral and religious educations. 2. The origin of Mutter-und Koselieder can be extracted from such books as Pestalozzis Buch Mutter, Comenius Orbis Pictus, Basedow's Elementarwerk, and it's philosophy is based on the inner method shown in the Romantic work of Novatis' Hymnen in die Nacht and the human education of Frobel himself. The book is composed of three parts. The first part mentions mother's attitude to God, who, holding her baby in her bosom, express the sense of gratitude to God and praises Him, The second is constituted with illustrations ("Randzeichnungen in German) that shows the poems, pictures and the playful hands of baby and mother. These illustrations numbered about fifty in all take the most part of Mutter-und Koselieder. The third part is made up with Fro¨bel's explanating on the significance of the illustrations, games and songs. 3. The substance of Mutter-und Koselieder develops the spiral process of education from the human relationship between mother and child to moral and religious education. In consequence of analyzing Mutter-und Koselider, it is shown that a baby, the symbol of human being, should be developed with constant process of bringing up. A mother, as a teacher, must not only perceive the possibility of baby's natural development, but also help it until she grows up to maturity.;본 연구는 프뢰벨의 " Mutter-und Koselieder "의 내용을 분석하고 그것을 토대로 프뢰벨의 교육원리를 알아 보려는데 목적을 두고 있다. 연구방법은 요한네스 프뤼퍼의 " Mutter-und Koselieder ", 헬무트 하일란트의 " Die Symbolwelt F. Fro¨bel " 등과 관련기사, 문헌을 통한 문헌연구 방법을 사용하였다. 본 연구의 문제는 다음의 3가지 이다. 1 . 본 자료에 나타난 교육원리는 무엇인가? 2 . 본 자료의 기원 및 구성은 어떠한가? 3 . 본 자료의 내용은 어떠한가? 이와 같은 연구문제에 맞추어 자료를 분석한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1 . Mutter-und Koselieder 에서의 교육의 근본원리는 " 매개의 원리 "이다. 이 원리는 인간의 삶이 단계적이며, 연속적인 관계에 있음을 의미한다. 즉 아기가 단순히 어머니와의 관계에서 시작하여 궁극적으로는 윤리·종교교육에 이르기까지 교육하는 양상에 대해 다루고 있다. 이는 교육에 있어 나선형 교육과정을 강조한다. 그리하여 아동후기 교육에서는 신과 일치하는 매개의 원리를 설명하고 있다. 2 . Mutter-und Koselieder의 기원은 페스탈로찌의 " 어머니의 책 " 에서 비롯 된다. 또한 코메니우스의 " 세계도회 " , 바세도우의 " 기초활동 " 그리고 낭만주의 문학가 노발리스의 "밤의 찬가" 또한 자신의 저서인 「인간교육」에 그 기반을 두고 있다. 본 자료의 구성은 3부분으로 나뉘어 진다. 첫째부분은 아기를 안고 있는 어머니가 하느님께 감사와 찬미를 드리는 것으로 구성되어 있다. 둘째부분은 어머니와 아기가 함께 부르는 시·그림 유희형태의 손을 나타내는 삽화로 구성되어 있다. 이 삽화는 50종류로서 "Mutter-und Koselieder" 의 대부분을 차지하고 있다. 세째부분은 프뢰벨 스스로가 이 책의 삽화 및 놀이 노래에 대한 의미를 설명하는 부분으로 구성되어 있다. 3 . "Mutter-und Koselieder" 의 내용은 어머니-유아의 관계를 나타내는 것이다. 즉 어머니는 자연으로, 아기는 인간으로 보아 이 두 사람 사이에 인간 관계를 맺는 양상에서 시작하여 윤리·종교교육에 이르기 까지 나선형 교육과정으로 교육적 관계를 맺는 것으로 이끌어 가며 전개하고 있다. 본 자료의 분석 결과는 다음과 같은것을 나타내 준다. 인간의 상징인 아기는 연속적인 어머니의 양육과정으로 이루어져야 된다는 것이다. 교사인 어머니는 아기의 자연적 성장 가능성을 인정하는 것은 물론 아기를 돕고 또 잘 성장하도록 기다리는 것이다. 이와같은 기본 철학은 교육의 기저에 그 근원이 된다. 예컨데 현대의 영 ·유아교육 프로그램의 Hippy Program, Smal1 Wonder, Toddler Program 등이 바로 그것이다. 또한 Mutter-und Koselieder"의 수·과학교육, 감각교육, 놀이도구 (Blocks), 운율, 손유희, 기독교교육은 현대 나선형 교육과정의 시발점을 이루고 있다고 하겠다.
