音樂大學生들의 音樂에 關聯된 欲求性向

Abstract

Recently with gradual increasing interest in the music education, there seems to be enthusiastic attitude toward professional music practice. So the ultimate goal to make professional musician has been derived form these enthusiasm with improvement of general idea in music and it is possible to achieve the goal for educating great musician. Therefore I feel that it is important to educate musicians based on their desire oriented. Three hundred and fifty students majoring in music at E. University were studied to rate the student's problems in there curriculum, to contribute better conduction in proper musical education and therefore to produce the acceptable professional musician in the future. Students were evaluated by means of a questionnaire (semi-structural interview) for their motivation (to major in music), desire and hope in the future, and a desire oriented test. The results of this study were summarized as following. Generally our study revealed relative high self-rating satisfaction for their major area just because they wanted to, but interestingly lowest response in composition department. Study done in terms of motivation to enter the Music College, showed that most of the student majored in music just because they liked music. However some student majored Traditional Music for the entrance to famous college. This point should be reconsidered. Considering increasing number of student hoping to study abroad or to take post graduate course in the future. Open door policy should be followed. However student shouldn't go study abroad not just for longing for foreign country. It is necessary for us to increase our knowledge, to equip with professional attitude and personnel character as a musician. Many student pointed out laying too much stress on general requirements (Liberal Arts) and insufficient hour (1hour per week) of instrumental course for Performance, among the problems, curriculum, and suggested not only rescheduling whole curriculum but also creative, active, and structural instructional course for the Performance. Therefore if above problems are solved, it's expected that there will contribute to the professional musician training in college as well as in whole music educational field.;音樂敎育에 對한 關心이 날로 高潮되어 감에 따라 專門音樂學習에 對한 熱望도 더욱 높아지고 있다. 이같은 熱望은 一般人의 音樂的 生活의 水準向上에 對한 期待와 함께 專門音樂人을 만드는데 窮極的인 目標를 두게 되었다. 이러한 시점에서 훌륭한 音樂人을 만든다는 目標를 達成하기 위한 하나의 過程으로서 音樂大學生들의 欲求性向을 理解하고 그것을 基礎로 敎育하고 指導하는 것이 매우 有益하리라 생각한다. 따라서 本 硏究는 音樂大學生들의 專攻動機, 欲求, 將來希望 및 그들을 敎育하기 위해 마련된 敎育過程 등을 알아보고 그 結果를 通해서 音樂大學의 現況을 分析, 評價한다. 또한 이런 過程을 通해서 우리나라 專門音樂人 養成을 위한 暫定的 模型을 提示하여, 보다 바람직한 專門音樂人의 輩出과 音樂大學 敎育目的의 效果的인 遂行을 위한 基礎資料를 提供하기 위해서 이 硏究를 始作하였다. 이 硏究를 위해서 서울시내 E 女子大學校 音樂大學生 約 350名을 對象으로 調査, 分析하였다. 그 結果를 要約하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 音樂專攻生들의 自己 專攻에 對한 滿足度는, 本人 스스로가 좋아서 選澤한 것으로 비교적 높은 滿足度를 나타냈으나, 작곡과 종교음악을 專攻한 學生들의 경우 가장 낮은 滿足度를 나타냈다. 또한 音樂大學에 入學한 動機에 있어서는 대부분의 學生이 音樂이 좋아서 音樂大學에 入學한 것으로 나타났으나 국악과의 경우 名門大學에 入學하기 위해서 짧은 期間동안 공부하여 入學한 學生도 적지않음은 國樂에 對한 認識에 再考되어야 할 問題가 있다고 생각된다. 專攻에 對한 意見은 滿足하다는 反應과 不滿足스럽다는 反應이 비슷한 分布로 나타났는데, 不滿足한 理由로는 스스로 實技에 對한 練習不足으로 인한 內的인 理由가 가장 높았고 週 1時間이라는 實技指導 時間의 不足과 指導敎授의 積極的이고 創意的인 指導方法의 改善이 要請되었다. 둘째, 敎科課程上의 問題에 있어서는 대부분의 學生들이 敎養科目에 置重하고 있다고 생각하는 것으로 나타났고 전적으로 專攻 및 敎養에 對한 學點排定과 時間接排에 있어서 再調整이 되기를 希望하고 있었다. 또한 많은 學生들이 音樂發表會나 演奏曾에 參加하기를 원하고 있었으나 적당한 機會가 없고 스스로 實技實力의 不足함을 理由로 나타내고 있었다. 따라서 學習結果를 發表하고 새로운 意慾을 주기 위해서 1年에 한, 두번 發表나 演奏에 參加할 수 있는 機會를 만들어 주어야 한다고 생각되었다. 셋째, 卒業後 將來希望에 對한 希望狀況을 살펴보면 海外留學과 大學院 進學을 希望하는 學生들이 상당히 많은 것으로 보아 이에 對한 門戶開放이 要請되었으나 海外留學에 對한 莫然한 憧憬에서 벗어나 音樂 그 自體를 위한 實力鍊磨, 音樂性 向上, 音樂人으로서의 性品 等을 갖추려는 姿勢에서 出發되어야 한다고 생각되었다. 따라서 以上의 點들이 改善되면 音樂大學生들의 欲求가 어느정도 充足되어 有能한 專門音樂人의 養成과 아울러 音樂敎育을 包含한 우리나라 音樂發展에 다소 도움이 될 수 있으리라 期待되는 바이다.
