색채추상에 의한 내적 심상 표현연구

Abstract

藝術은 한 예술가에게 있어서 存在의 방식이며, 至高한 삶(life)의 표현방식이라 할 수 있다. 또한, 作品을 통해 예술가는 內面世界에 存在하는 眞實을 表出해 낸다. 따라서 藝術은 人間을 存在의 眞實性에로 인도하며 藝術作品에 있어서는 內在한 진실함을 우선으로 한다고 볼 수 있다. 참다운 意味에서 20세기 繪畵의 성격은 대상성을 초월하여 自體의 감동, 또는 內的 必然에 의한 순수繪畵의 확립이라 할 수 있다. 1945年 이후 現代美術의 양상은, 잠재의식 속의 무의식적 과정을 통하여 人間의 本來的 存在를 파악하고자 하는 표현주의적 경향의 액션페인팅 (Action - Painting)과 보다 순수하고 絶對的인 태도에 바탕을 둠으로써 행위과정보다는 繪畵라는 숭고한 상징물을 설정하여 초월적 영역의 탐구에서 人間의 궁극적 意味를 암시하려한 色面抽象(Color-field Painting)으로 전개되며, 이들은 Minimal art, Pop art, Optical art, Kinetic art, Happening, 槪念藝術등 以後의 現代美術 흐름의 전개에 큰 계기가 되었다. 本人은 戰後 뜨겁게 격동하는 抽象表現主義의 潮流속에서 초월적인 精神性을 通하여 崇高함의 절정에 이른 色彩抽象(Color-field abstraction)을 연구해 봄으로써 藝術에 있어서의 精神的인 意味를 深化하고자 하였으며, 또한 有限과 無限, 意識과 無意識, 명료성과 불명료성, 감각적인 것과 정신적인 것들을 모두 溶解해서 표현된 崇高性(the Sublime)의 目的을 위해 內的 心象을 通하여 가능한 한 순수하고 단순하게 繪畵的 감동을 表現하였으며, 이 단순성과 순수성을 인간의 本質을 探究하고자 하는 方法으로 色彩를 通하여 追究의 對象으로 다루어 보았다.;Art has become a way of existance and presentation of life in an artist. Also, artists express the truth which exists in the inner world through art. Therefore art leads a man to the truth of existance and a work of art attaches great importance to the inner truth. In true meaning, the character of the twentieth century painting is the self-impression beyond the nature of object or the establishment of painting's purity by the inner necessity. It is said that the abstract expressionism is the main stream showed outwardly after the world war Ⅱ. The abstract expressionism is classified into two streams, action-painting and color-field abstract. The fine artist of action-painting tried to find the real "sein" of the human being through the creative action of the non-recognizing inner-exist. The fine artist of color-field abstract tried to suggest the Ultimate meaning of human being by exploring the transcendental real in based on the most pure and absolute attitude, by simbolizing the sublime fine art. Subsequently those become many motives which develop the trend of modern art, such as Minimal art, Pop art, Op. art and Kinetric art, conceptual art etc. I study the chromatic abstraction which reach to the summit of sublime through transcendental mentality, in the currents of absoraction expressionism which is agitated after the world war Ⅱ. Therefore I want to reinforce the mental meaning of art. For the purpose of sublime which is expressed melting of limit and unlimit, consciousness and unconsciousness, clearness and unclearness sensible thing and mentality, I express the picturesque impression as pure, and as simple as possible through the image. And I deal with the purity and the simplicity from colors as the object of pursuit, through the method of study on the nature of human.
