- The purpose of this study is to investigate relationships between “creativity“ and ”clothing behaviors“.
Data were obtained from 549 highschool students and the selected samples were composed of 324 boys and 225 girls from 5 highschools in Inchon.
The measurement of clothing behaviors was approached by Anne M.Creekmore's method, and the measurement of creativity by the method originated by Jung Won-Sik and Lee Young-buk.
The statistical analysis o f the obtained data shows the applications of such processes as calculation of frequency distribution, mean(M), standard deviation ( S.D. ) pearson's correlation coefficient.
Those findings through this study are as follows :
1. corelations between creativity and clothing behaviors are relevant in some aspects and irrelevant in others.
It is apparent that there is :
a) insignificant relation between openness and eight clothing behaviors with both boys and girls.
b) significant relation between fluency and two clothing behaviors, with boys, social approval, psychological dependence.
No significant relation was found with the girls.
c) significant relation between flexibility and a clothing behavior, aesthetic with boys, and two clothing behaviors comfort, psychological dependence, with girls.
d) significant retation between organization and three clothing behaviors, interest, social approval, psychological dependence, with boys, and one clothing behavior, comfort, with girls.
e) significant relation between elaboration and a clothing behavior, modesty, with both boys and girls.
f) significant relation between originality and a clothing behavior, management, with boys, and between originality three clothing behaviors, aesthetic, special attention, psychological dependence, with girls.

3. Internal correlation in clothing behaviors is significant.;靑少年期는 身體的·精神的으로 급격히 成長하고 生涯 最高의 過渡潮로서 複雜하고 銳敏한 心理的인 變化가 뒤따른다. 高校生의 知的 世界에 影響을 주는 創意性과 人間行動의 한 側面인 衣服行動과의 關係를 調査 分析하여 靑少年의 合理的인 衣生活 指導의 資料로 提供하는 것이 本 硏究의 目的이다.
測定方法은 Creekmore(1971)의 8個 衣服行動 變因을 基礎로 하여 우리나라 高校生에 맞도록 修正, 補完한 後, 各 變因別 10 個 問項씩 作成하여 調査하고 創意性 檢査는 이 영덕, 정 원식(1976)에 依해 作成된 것을 使用하였다.
標集對象은 仁川直轄市의 仁川高, 富平高, 濟物浦高 등 3個의 男學校와 仁一女高, 富平女高 등 2個 女學校의 1, 2學年 549名이었고 統計處理는 行動科學硏究所 컴퓨터를 使用하여 度數分布(Frequency), 平均(Mean), 標準偏差(Standard Deviation), 相關係數(Pearson's r), 變量分析(Analysis of Variance)을 하였다.
本 硏究의 資料分析 結果는 다음과 같다.
1. 創意性 水準은 男學生은 審美性, 貞淑性, 興味性, 管理性, 社會的 認定性, 心理的 依存性과 有意的인 關係가 있었고, 女學生은 審美性, 便易性, 心理的 依存性과 有意的인 關係가 있었다.
2. 衣服行動 變因의 順位는 男學生이 便易性, 貞淑性, 社會的 認定性, 心理的 依存性, 管理性, 興味性, 審美性, 注意集中性이고, 女學生이 貞淑性, 興味性, 便易性, 心理的 依存性, 管理性, 社會的 認定性, 審美性, 注意集中性의 順으로 便易性, 貞淑性, 興味性에서 性別 差異를 보였다.
3. 衣服行動 變因 相互間의 關係는 總 28個 變因 가운데 男學生은 21個가 대체로 P＜.001 水準에서 正的 혹은 負的 相關關係가 있었으며 女學生은 22個가 P＜.01 水準 以上에서 正的 혹은 負的인 相關關係를 보였다.
