W. A. Mozart의 「클라리넷 5중주곡」 K. V. 581에 대한 분석 연구

Abstract

음악사적으로 볼 때 모짜르트 (Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, 1756∼1791년)는 실내악곡, 오페라, 교향곡, 협주곡등과 같은 그의 음악 작품에 클라리넷을 주요 악기로 포함시킨 작곡가라고 할 수 있다. 본 논문은 모짜르트의 클라리넷이 포함된 작품중에서 걸작으로 알려진 클라리넷 5중주곡 K.V. 581에 대한 분석적 연구이다. 분석에 앞서 모짜르트 실내악의 전반적인 특징과 클라리넷이 포함된 악곡에 대하여 고찰하였고, 클라리넷 5중주곡 K.V. 581의 전 악장의 형식, 선율구성, 화성의 면을 분석하였다. 전 곡은 4악장으로 되어 있으며, 제1악장은 소나타 형식, 제2악장은 A, B, B', A, B의 형식, 제3악장은 2개의 트리오를 포함한 미뉴에트, 제4악장은 주제(Theme)와 5개의 변주 및 코다(Coda)등의 다양한 양식으로 구성되어 있다. 특히 제 1악장에서는 선율적인 모방진행과 같은으뜸음조 (Parallel key)상의 장·단조 대비, 독주적·합주적 대비, 클라리넷과 현악기부의 음색 대비 및 대화 형식이 효과적으로 나타나고, 제1, 제4악장에서는 대위법적인 구성 및 카논(Canon)형태가 보여지며, 제3, 제4악장에서는 f - p의 강약대비가 효과적으로 사용된다. 전 곡을 통해서 볼 때 지속저음(Pedal point)과 동형진행 (Sequence) ,모방진행 및 반음계적 진행이 자주 보여지며, 특히 아르페지오(Arpeggio)적인 선율진행은 이 곡을 이루는 주요 요소로 나타난다.;From a historical point of view, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756-1791) should be regarded one of the composers that had ever stressed the functional importance of the clarinet by hav-ing it included in his works which had covered chamber music, operas, symphonies and concertos as a major musical instrument. This thesis is on an analytical study of his 'Clarinet Quin-tet K.V. 581", known as the best one among Mozart's works for the clarinet. In this study, the general characteristics of Mozart's chamber music and its relationship with the clarinet, are examined and the formal, melodic and harmonic aspects of the "Clarinet Quintet K.V. 581", are analyzed. His Clarinet Quintet K.V. 581 consists of four movements: the first movement is sonata form; the second one, structure of A , B , B ', A, B; the third one, minuet with two trios ; and the fourth movement, a theme and five variations with coda. Especially distinguished sound effects in the first movement are: the contrast between the major key and the minor key, e.g. A major-a minor, E Major-e minor, etc, the imitative melodic, contrast and tone color difference between solo clarinet and string Quartet, between instruments dialogue-style. In the first and the fourth movements, a contrapuntal structure and ca- non is shown, and dynamic contrast between f (forte)-p(piano) is effectively used in the third and the fourth movements. The dominant characteristics in the whole movements are: frequent use of pedal point, sequential treatment, imitation, chromatic progression, and the important use of arpeggios in the melodic line.
