포구락에 대한 고찰

Abstract

The subject of this treatise concernced my study of Pogurac a Dangacjungal. I studied the contents, the forms and the general factors with the old literature to try to determine the concept of Dangacjungal clearly and the transition to compare an athlectic goods with sihangpogurac. Being examined contents, structure and feature of kung-gungjungjae, Jungjae has a national character exceeding personal feeling and not only oriental yeak thought in process but also polite, slow and courteous dance: it is certain object in contents that set to right in forms, and mainly admire king's merit and achievement. Umyangohhang thought that is based on kunggungjungjae compreherded chance of universal everything to act on good heart of ohhang. Eastern idea accepted life and art of my nation to adjust the natural law and recognized a course of character building for arruing the highest human life. Palace dance has been considered not only as a dance but also as a ceremory that express the courtesy: Ak has been thought a important means that can be a way to the courtesy and Moo a progress that can be a culture of character. Jungjae that palace dance has meaning rather process dance different from palace dance through playing on the stage at the present time.;본 논문은 전통 궁중무용 중에서 당악정재인 포구락에 관하여 그 내용과 형식 및 제반 요소들을 옛 문헌을 중심으로 연구함으로써 당악정재의 개념을 명백히 규명하고 나아가 변천 과정을 살펴봄으로써 시행 포구락과 비교하며 포구락의 의의를 알아보는데 그 의의를 두었다. 궁중정재의 내용 및 구조와 특징을 살펴보면 정재는 개인의 독자적인 감정표현을 초월하여 민족적인 성격을 지니며 의식절차 및 구조 자체에 음양오행의 동양 사상과 예악 사상인 깃들여 있으며 춤가락은 정중하고 느리면서도 우아하고 내용은 목적이 뚜렷하고 형태구성이 잘 정돈되어 있으며 주로 왕의 공덕이나 업적을 찬양하는데 바탕을 두고 있다. 궁중정재의 사상적 기반을 이루어온 음양오행사상은 우주 만물의 변화를 오행의 덕성에 의한 작용으로 풀이한 것이다. 동양사상은 우리민족의 생활과 예술 속에 받아들여져 천지 자연의 운행법칙에 순응함으로써 인간생활의 최고의 이상에 도달하기 위한 인격수양의 한 과정으로 인식되어진다. 궁중무용의 의미는 춤 뿐만이 아니라 예를 행하는 의식 절차로서의 악을 통해 예를 이룰 수 있다 하여, 악을 인격형성에 이르는 중요한 과제로 생각했으며 무는 인격을 이루는 한 과정인 것으로 생각했다. 궁중무용 즉 정재는 춤이라기보다 예를 행하는 의식 절차로서의 의미가 더컸으며 오늘날의 무대상연을 통해 재현되는 궁중무용과는 의미가 다르다고 할 수 있겠다.
