기하학의 발달사와 기하교육에 대한 연구

Abstract

인간은 오직 교육에 의해 지적으로 성장하며, 모든 교육활동 가운데 가장 기본이 되는 것은 수학이다. 일찌기 유클릿트는 수학의 특성을 "진리만을 다루는 학문이다"고 하였다. 수학은 인간의 사고적 산물이며 인간의 사고형식은 그 시대의 사상과 사회상의 영향을 받는다. 수학의 발달은 기하학에서 시작된다. 본 논문에서는 시대별로 기하학의 발달과정을 연구하여 수학의 한 흐름을 고찰하였다. 기하학은 고대의 직관적이고 경험적인 기하학에서 그리이스 초기의 부분적인 논증기하학, 유클릿트의 체계화된 논증 기하학을 거쳐 17세기 초엽 데카르트의 해석기하학, 데자르그, 파스칼의 사영기하학에서 비유클리트기하학, 위상기하학으로 발전한다. 본 연구에서는 기하학의 시대적인 배경과 역사적 사실에 대해 관심깊게 연구하여 도형에 흥미를 느끼지 못하는 학생들에게 수학사적인 내용으로 학습동기를 유발하려 하였다. 아울러, 새교육과정 중 도형편을 학년별로 분석하여 그 내용을 알아 보았고 기하학의 발달과정과 관계를 맺어 보았다.;The Human are intellectually grown by education only, and the mathematics is the most basic in the all education activity. Euclid said 'The mathematics is a study which only seeks after the truth,' as a special character. The mathematics is the products of human thinking, and the way of thinking of human is influenced by the thought and the social aspect of the times. The development of mathematics begins from geometry. This, thesis studied the process of development and considered the flow of mathematics. The geometry begins with the intuitional and experienced geometry in the ancient times, through the partial proof geometry in the early days of the Greece, the systematic proof geometry of Euclid, and develops to the analytical geometry of Decart in the early days 17c. This thesis studied with concern the background of the times and the historic fact and intended to arouse a learning motive by the historical contents of mathematics to students who aren't interested in a figure. And this thesis analysed a figure each grade in the new education process and connected it with the development process of geometrey.
