컬러텔레비젼에서 방사되는 방사선에 관한 연구

Abstract

The quantities of the radiation emitted from Color Televisions have been measured by α, β, γ ray detector between Korea make Color Televisions 14in, 16in, 20in and that of Japanese make 12in, 15in. The result is as follows; 1. α ray is measured as the same amount radiation as when those television are off. α ray is, therefore, not emitted. 2. The closer it is to the center of CRT, the greater it increases in the quantities emitted from β δ γ ray, and in the distance of 20cm from the center CRT, it is the same amount of the dose of background radiation with or without filters. (Color TV. Screen). 3. It is considered, therefore, that there is no influence upon human body with radiation caused by Color Televisions while watching Television within 20cm from the center of CRT, but in the Video game playing human body may be suffering from the effects of the radiation in case the game play in being in the closer site (or position) to CRT.;한국산 14in, 16in, 20in 컬러텔레비젼과 일본산 12in, 15in의 컬러텔레비젼에서 방출되는 방사선량을 α, β, γ선 검출기로 측정해 보았다. 그 결과 1． α선은 텔레비젼을 켜지 않았을 때의 측정값과 같았다. 따라서 α선은 방출되지 않았다. 2． β선과 γ선의 방출량은 CRT 중심에 가까운 거리일수록 크고 중심에서 20㎝ 이상의 거리에서는 filter 유·무에 관계없이 배경 방사선량과 동일하였다. 3． 따라서 CRT 중심에서 20㎝ 이상의 거리에서 텔레비전을 볼때 적어도 방사선에서 오는 영향은 없다고 생각되나 비디오게임은 CRT면에 가까운 위치에서 하게 되므로 인체에 해로운 영향이 미치지 않을까 생각된다.
