dc.description.abstract통경, 해열, 소염제로 알려져 있는 蛇□ Dushesnea indica( Andr. ) Focke( Rosaceae ) 全草의 methanol extract를 물에 현탁시켜서 ether층을 분획하였다. 이 ether분획을 TLC(silica gel G)한 결과 7개의 점이 分離됨을 確認하였으며, si1ica gel column chromatography에 의해 물질을 분리하였다.(Substance Ⅰ) Subs. Ⅰ은 각종 화학적, 분광학적 방법으로 수산기 (-OH), 및 methoxy기 (-O CH_(3))가 있는 cholesterol계의 물질임을 알 수 있었다.;The whole plant of Duchesnea indica (Andr.) Focke (Rosaceae) (abbreviated in DI) has been used as a folk medicine in treating amenorrhea, inflammation, fever, and traumatic injuries, detoxifying and breaking up clots. The DI-MeOH extract was suspensed in water and partitioned with Et_(2)O. TLC of the ether fraction reveled 7 clots. Among them, the spot (Substance 1, R_(f) = 0.64) was separated by silica gel column chromatography and preparative TLC. Some chemical properties and UV, IR, NMR, Mass spectrum suggested that it was a kind of cholesterols, which has Hydroxyl radical (-OH), and Methoxyl radical (O□H_(3)).-
