中學生의 美術科 活動에 關한 興味 硏究

Abstract

中學校 無試驗 進學 및 高等學校 平準化 制度 實施에 따른 學生人口의 自然增加 現象은 격심한 學習活動의 個人差를 초래하였으며, 이 현상은 中等敎育 問題를 심화시켜 가고 있다. 美術科에 있어서도 授業活動은 있으나 興味없는 活動으로 評價의 時間이 되었고 一部 學生을 除外하고는 自信感의 상실, 부정적, 소극적 自我 槪念을 形成하고 있어, 學習意慾은 상실되고 나는 못한다 라는 공포심 마저 갖고 있는 실정이다. 이에 效率的인 美術 學習을 위해 單元別 與味度를 把握하여 學生들의 授業에 參考하고 적용시켜 본다면 의의가 있을 것으로 생각된다. 美術敎育의 目的은 美術 作品을 성취하도록 겨냥되어 있지 않고 兒童 및 學生의 成長發達에 주어져 있어야 할 것이다. 결국은 美術이 敎育手段의 하나로서 兒童 및 學生의 올바른 成長發達을 돕는데 기여해야 한다고 본다. 그러나 그들의 興味가 어디에 있는가를 正確히 把握하지 않고 敎科課程대로 授業을 進行하고 評價를 하고 있는 것에 問題가 있는 것으로 보았다. 本 硏究에서는 그리기, 꾸미기, 鑑賞, 만들기 領域에 대한 授業活動을 單元別로 興味度를 調査하여 그들의 興味가 어디에 있는가를 把握하였다. 이것은 학업 성취를 위한 效果的인 방향을 기대하기 위한 方法이다. 그리하여 여러가지 조건을 分析하여 이들에게 알맞은 單元을 敎科課程에 수용하고자 한다. 硏究의 方法에서 基本도구는 質問紙 調査硏究로 회화, 鑑賞, 조소, 디자인 4領域에서 60問項을 選定했다. 應答에 나타난 興味意識을 分析하고 4領域間의 相關關係를 把握했다. 그 結果 美術活動의 興味있는 單元으로는 實技大會 參加, 만화 그리기, 상상화 그리기, 博物館 見學, 展示場 관람, 古寺刹 見學, 슬라이드 감상, 장식초 만들기, 점토 그룻굽기, 화분 받침대 만들기, 나무토막 쌓기, 실 구성, 크리스마스 트리 장식 등이다. 領域別 相關은 조소와 鑑賞은 매우 낮은 상관을 보였으며, 감상과 디자인, 회화와 조소, 회화와 디자인, 디자인과 조소는 유의相關을 보였으며, 회화와 감상은 비교적 낮은 相關을 보였다. 公·私立간의 興味 정도는 別差異가 없는 것으로 볼 수 있었고 회화, 감상, 조소, 디자인에 대한 전반적인 경향은 조소가 가장 낮고, 디자인이 높은 편이다. 全體的인 興味정도는 낮은 것으로 美術 授業이 效果的으로 實施되기에는 어려움이 있는 것으로 볼 수 있다. 이상과 같이 美術 授業의 興味정도와 상관관계, 의식소재를 把握하고 다음과 같은 問題點을 추출할 수 있었다. 學生들의 美術 活動은 現場 中心으로 전개하여 좁은 敎室을 벗어나는 수업이 바람직하다. 시청각 기재의 보완과 일관성 있는 學年別 디자인 學習의 實施가 必要하다. 조소 학습은 재료의 開發 및 表現 方法의 다양화를 硏究해야겠다. 올바른 鑑賞活動을 통해 美的안목을 기르고 自然을 사랑하는 能力을 키워야겠다. 그러므로 본 硏究에서는 현황 문제점을 把握하는 것으로 제한시켰다. 따라서 興味誘發을 위한 授業 向上案은 계속 硏究해야할 점으로 생각하며 美術敎育에 實際的인 도움이 되는 資料가 되기를 바란다.;The results of the present research for the interest degree in each field of fine arts activities, which has performed about the middle school boys in Seoul, are as follows. In the field of painting, students show more interest in participating outdoor painting contests and drawing comic or imaginary pictures than in illustrating books and painting in Chiness ink. In the field of appreciation, students are more interested in watching slidefilms and visiting museums, old temples and art exhibitions than in studying the history of fine arts and appreciating the works in the classroom. In the field of design, students are more interested in making decoration candles, clay vessels and saucers for flowerpots than in making decoration bottles. In the field of carving and modeling, students like the space composition with thread. Correlations among the students' interests in each field of fine arts are as follows. The correlation coefficients take the values of 0.38 for painting and design, 0.28 for painting and appreciation, 0.32 for painting and modeling , 0.27 for design and appreciation, 0.44 for design and modeling, and 0.38 for appreciation and modeling. General tendency of students' interests in fine arts is as follows. As a whole, students do not show much interest in fine arts activities compared with other school subjects. Especially, they show the least interest in carving and modeling in the field of drawing, they Like drawing comic or imaginary pictures which differ from traditional arts. Students' desposition to dislike deep thinking is exposed in the field of appreciation. They show quite a good interest in outdoor studies such as visiting old temples, art, exhibitions and museums. Among each field, they show the most interest in design.
