봉산탈춤과 양주별산대놀이 춤사위 비교 연구

Abstract

한국의 가면극종류는 많으나 본 논문에서는 북부형에 속하는 황해도지방의 봉산탈춤과 경기도지방에 속하는 양주별산대놀이를 대상으로 역사적 유래와 과장별내용전개, 문학적 고찰, 춤사위 형태론적 분석을 통하여 어떻게 다른 춤사위가 표출되는가를 비교연구 하였다. 봉산탈춤이나 양주별산대놀이는 같은 산대도감계통으로 극본의 과장이나 내용이 비슷한 것으로 나타나며, 연희시기 또한 누구나 즐길 수 있는 시기를 택하여 연희되었다. 봉산탈춤과 양주별산대놀이의 춤사위에서 명칭이 같은 고래잡이, 겹사위가 있으며 춤사위 명칭은 다르지만 그 형태나 구성이 비슷한 봉산탈춤의 연풍대와 양주별산대놀이의 멍석말이, 봉산탈춤의 제자리걸음과 양주별산대놀이의 너울질이 형태와 구성에서 똑같다고는 할 수 없지만 비슷한 점을 발견할 수 있다. 한 동작만으로도 그 지방 춤사위 특징을 알 수 있는데 그 중에서 봉산의 '불림'을 통해 보더라도 한삼의 휘돌림과 힘찬 跳舞는 무폭이 커서 남성적인 멋이 강하게 나타난다고 할 수 있으며 양주의 '깨끼리'는 무폭은 작지만 다양하면서도 섬세한 춤사위를 형성하고 있는 것을 볼때 황해도의 봉산·경기도의 양주인들의 성격까지 잘 나타나고 있음이 보여진다.;There are many kinds of mask plays in Korea, however, I will compare and analyze two moduls of them-Bong san mask dance in northem whang-hae province and yang-ju-byeol-san-dae play in central Kyeong-gi province-in the light of historial original, structure in every patten, literary stady, and patten and characteistic in basic ance patten. The 2 models, which are the same system of san-dae-do-gam, have some similarities. They have similan patten and substance in common on the oue uand, and they were performed in the same pleasant period on the other hand. We can find that the 2 models have the same name 'Gogaegabeegy bsawee' in the basic dame patten and that they have common patten or structure in Yeonpoongdae in Bong san and Meong Sok Mary in Yanng-Ju Je jarl geoleum in Bong-san and motions of Neowulgil in Yang-Ju. The basic dance patten enables us to realize the local characteistis. For instance, Bong san mask dance is very masculine consileriny Whirling and wildness of Hansam in Bulim, while Yangie play is very delicate and various. Considering nanow width of dancing in gye-gyri Fram these charactecistics we can understand the different characteristics of the masses in Bong-san and Yang-ju district.
