시지각을 통한 꽃의 이미지 표현

Abstract

존재하는 모든 것은 운동을 한다. 운동은 필연적으로 일정한 주기로 반복되어지는 행위를 가지며 그 반복은 리듬을 탄생시킨다. 리듬은 일정한 강약과 장단을 가지는 시간의 주기적 반복으로 규정되어지고 이러한 리듬에 의해서 예술가는 창조적 활동을 하게 되는 것이다. 이러한 운동을 가능케하는 자연은 예술표현대상으로 무한한 의미를 가진다. 자연은 인간을 포함한 거대한 대상인 동시에 무한한 의미로서 예술의 소재이며, 인간의 끊임없는 관찰과 표현욕구 유발과 충족의 대상이 되어왔다. 이로써 예술은 예술가의 정신적 세계를 거친 또 하나의 자연이라 명명되어 질 수 있다. 예술은 사물의 현상을 표현하는 것이 아니라 그 현상 속에 숨겨진 의미를 표현하는 것이고 이에 따른 예술가의 창작활동은 인간의 현실이라는 외부세계를 예술가 자신의 직접, 간접적 경험에 의해 의식 속에서 승화시켜 그 내면세계를 주관적 조형원리로 표현하는 것이다. 인간은 무의식과 의식이라는 세계에서 존재하고 있으며 인간의 감각은 주변환경에 민감한 반응을 보이는 동시에 이를 감각화시켜 예술로써 표출하려는 내면화에 의한 의지가 있다. 무의식은 단지 의식화되지 않은 내용물들의 저장소가 아니라 의식을 통하여 외부로의 표출수단을 꾀하고자 한다. 본 연구의 목적은 이미 존재하는 대상을 재현함과 동시에 그 속에 내재된 인간과 자연과의 상호심상교감까지도 표현함에 있으며, 자연과 본 연구자 사이의 상호 교감관계와 내면세계에 의한 새로운 조형적 표현으로 연구자의 시지각에 의한 새로운 이미지로 표현함에 있다. 본 연구자는 자연 중에서 특히 인간과 친숙한 꽃의 실체를 소재로 하여 연구자가 체험한 현실과 내면세계에서 느낀 내적심상의 이중적인 면을 시지각을 통한 경험으로 자연의 대상에 신선한 이미지의 생명력을 부여하고 자연을 시지각 차원에서 공간적으로 재구성하였다. 자연은 미적 표현의 표현대상으로써 무한한 가능성을 갖고 있으며, 연구자는 자연 대상을 단순하게 재현하는 것이 아니라 본 연구자의 내면세계와 결합하여 본 연구자의 시지각적인 면에서 내적심상으로 형상화할 수 있다. 선과 면의 시각적 요소로 단순화한 표현과정에서 조형성을 추구하며, 장소의 변이로 인한 사물의 이질성, 현재와 과거간의 역사적 시간성 등은 본 연구자의 작품을 형성하는 데 중요한 시지각에 절충되는 요소로 보고자 하였다. 또한 시지각에 의한 잔상의 형태가 지니는 구조의 미를 유출하고 그 결과로 보여지는 시지각 요소들의 공간 구성방법에 따라 또 다른 이미지의 재생을 꾀하고자 하였다. 또한 시지각을 통하여 본 대상의 재현적 조형과, 변형과 재구성을 통한 추상적 조형을 조화시켜 현대 염색예술로서의 이미지 표현을 모색하는데 연구의 목적을 두었다. 본 연구자가 내면세계 속에서 체험한 꽃의 이미지를 이론적 배경을 바탕으로 10점의 염색작품으로 제작하여 분석해 봄으로써 시지각을 통해서 본 꽃으로 연구자의 조형예술로의 가능성과 방향을 제시하고자 하였다. ;All that exists moves. Movement has behavior that is repeated by fixed cycle necessarily and the repeatition gives birth to rhythm. Rhythm is prescribed by periodic repeatability of time that has beat and fixed strength and weakness. Thus, artist does creative activity by these rhythms. Nature has infinite meaning that enable these movements. Nature had become not only the target of ceaseless observation of human and induction of expressive desire, but also the target of sufficiency being site of art as infinite meaning. Art might be named another nature, which goes through the spiritual world of artist. Art is not to express the phenomenon, but to express the meaning involved in the phenomenon. Also, creative works of artist mean the artist himself sublimates the reality of the world into the formative art by direct and indirect experiences in his consciousness. Human being exist in the world of unconsciousness and consciousness. Human s sense tends to respond to surrounding environment sensitively and also has will of internalization to bring the response as art. Unconsciousness is not just storing place of contents, which is not ritualized, but the mean to express outside through consciousness. This study expresses not only the reappearance of what already exists, but also mutual consensus included between human and nature. Also, through this process, this research tries to figuratively express this reappearance as a new image by the visual perception. This study takes the reality of flower as the subject matter and gives the life into the target of nature, which the researcher experienced the truth and falsehood, through the experience of visual perception. Also, the researcher reconstructs that subject of nature spatially through silk screen and express the subject through the visual factors like line and side. Also, this researcher has a notion that two elements, heterogeneity of subject by the variation of place and historical time gap between presence and past, are doing as key roles to moderate the process that the visual perception creates a work. This researcher tries to extract the beauty of structure which afterimage forms and reconstruct another image by space conformation of elements of visual perception. The object of this study is to express contemporary dyeing art for abstract figuration by reappearing figurations, variations, and reconstructions. Also, this study aims to find out we are able to express these subjects through screen printing technique. In this study, first, the flowers images were modified and abstracted by a computer process, and then it was reconstructed with the visual elements for the design of the work. Especially, this study tries to show new possible ways and directions of figurative art for flowers through analyzing both characteristics of fabric and dyeing techniques while ten pieces of dyeing drafts was produced.
