抒情的 造形空間에 관한 연구

Abstract

As Preble has put it, the work of art is a materialistic expression of ideas characterized by man's ability through medium can lomot or expand the man's artistic experiences depending according as how to use it. In the end, art could reflect ourselves and it shows sensitive reaction to the things we put value on. Through these asthetic expression, we reach for the ultimate meaning of it to get the organic form. That is, we, each one of us should transcend the phychological meethanism shared with the group of other people, should surpass the organized thoughts. And after all that, we can make the work of art clear and get the juice from the basis of self-existence or unconsciousness. The work of art is simply not a imitation of nature but a subjective plastization to express the inner truth that could be found on the deep thoughts mixed with the ideas of everyday life according to the dispensation of nature. I have been interted in the property of meterial and two-dimentionity of paintings, being aware of the trend of modern paintings in which various experimental affitudes and style of expession have lived together and have been developed. And i have tried to make works by the techniques of papier coll'e, using the KOREAN-paper combined with the formative composition of the surface. Through these KOREAN-paper working, I have tried ti the new meaning of the expression-material. And I have tried to escape from the existing-techniques of the conventional sense and directly express the mass of reforming on the canvas in the meaning of the lyric formative space;"藝術作品이란 媒讀를 활용하여 인간의 기능으로 이루는 槪念의 物質的 표명이라고 할 수 있으며, 媒體는 그것을 사용하는 방법에 따라 인간의 예술적 경험을 제한하거나 확장시킬 수 있다" 라고 Preble은 말한다. 결국 예술은 우리자신을 反映하는 것이라고 할 수 있으며, 인간의 가치에 대하여 민감한 반응을 보이게 되어, 이러한 審美的 表現을 통해서 有機的인 형식을 얻는데에 그 궁극적 의미가 있다고 본다. 즉 "각자가 자기의 집단과 공유하는 심리적 메카니즘들을 초월하여 명백히 증명하며, 조직화된 사고를 초월하여 자기 존재의 기초, 즉 無意識에서 영양을 얻어낸다." 예술작품이란 단순한 자연의 모방이 아니고, 자연의 섭리를 따라 일상의 생각으로 뒤섞인 心底에서 찾아내는 내면의 眞實을 表現하기 위하여 主觀的으로 조형화하는 일이라고 본다. 본인은 다양한 실험태도와 표현양식이 공존하며 활발히 전개되는 현대 미술의 흐름속에서, 회화의 평면성과 재료의 물질성에 관심을 갖고, 조형적인 면의 구성을 채색이 가해진 한지를 이용한 콜라지(파피에 콜레)방법으로 작품 연구를 하였다. 이러한 本人의 종이작업은 표현 재료에 대한 새로운 해석으로, 고정적인 관념 속에서 자리하고 있었던 기존의 방식에서 탈피해, 직접적으로 화면위에서 면의 재구성을 서정적 조형 공간의 의미로 표현하고자 하였다.
