초등학교 교과서 및 교사용 지도서의 전통음악 내용 분석

Abstract

The purpose of this thesis is to look into various problems about the contents of music textbook related to traditional Korean music by mean of comparing and analysing the sixth present curriculum and the seventh following curriculum. Also, this is intended to find out problems by analysing the contents about traditional korean music from the present music textbooks and the teacher s guidebooks according to the sixth curriculum. Therefore, this suggests the better direction for the seventh following textbooks and teacher s guidebooks. The results of analysing traditional korean music from the sixth and seventh curriculums, textbooks and teacher s guidebooks are as follows. Although the sixth curriculum stresses on learning traditional korean music, it is not establishing systematic contents for the education for traditional korean music. The seventh curriculum doesn t have the consistent traditional korean music content systems ; overall music except the contents of unique traditional korean music which are suggested in sixth curriculum is suggested in singing, instrumental music and impressing areas, meanwhile folk song scales and si-kim-sae which are not suggested in sixth curriculum are added in understanding and compositing areas. Also, the added contents are not suggested in details according to levels. The content systems for the present textbooks and teacher s guidebooks are not established. There are many cases of no explication about traditional korean music, and even when there are, they are short. There are some content errors and many misprints. The direction of publishing the main points of curriculums, textbooks and teacher s guidebooks are not applied to in some parts. There are some cases that traditional korean instruments are not illustrated properly. Therefore, when the seventh textbooks and teacher s guidebooks are refined, the content systems of the traditional korean music should be established, the explications of contents expanded, and the errors eliminated by complimenting the weak points that don t materialized and systematized the contents of traditional korean music. Also, the intention of the curriculum for stressing on traditional korean music should be applied to the textbooks. ; 본 연구에서는 현행 제6차 교육과정과 개정된 제7차 교육과정을 분석하고 비교해 봄으로써 전통음악과 관련된 내용상의 제문제들을 알아보고자 하였다. 또한 제6차 교육과정에 의한 현행 교과서와 교사용 지도서의 전통음악내용을 분석하여 문제점들을 알아내고자 하였다. 그리하여 제7차 교육과정에 의해 개편될 교과서와 교사용 지도서의 개선방향을 제시하는데 목적을 두었다. 제6·7차 교육과정 및 교과서, 교사용 지도서의 전통음악내용을 분석한 결과는 다음과 같이 나타났다. 제6차 교육과정은 전통음악학습을 강조하면서도 내실있는 전통음악교육을 위한 전통음악 내용체계는 확립하지 못하였다. 제7차 교육과정도 가창, 기악, 감상영역은 6차에서 제시되었던 전통음악 특유의 내용을 빼고 음악 전반에 관해 포괄적으로 제시한 반면, 이해, 창작영역은 6차에서 제시되지 않았던 민요음계, 시김새를 첨가시키는 등 일관성 있는 전통음악 내용체계를 확립하지 못하였다. 그리고 새롭게 첨가시킨 내용도 단계별로 구체화하여 제시하지는 못하였다. 현행 교과서와 교사용 지도서도 전통음악교육을 위한 내용체계가 세워져 있지 않았다. 전통음악에 대한 설명이 없는 경우가 많았으며, 있다고 할지라도 내용 설명이 부족하였다. 교사용지도서에는 내용상 오류가 있는 부분도 있었으며 오자도 많았다. 또 교육과정의 중점 사항과 교과서, 교사용지도서 편찬 방향의 주안점이 교과서와 교사용 지도서에 제대로 적용되지 않은 부분도 있었다. 그리고 삽화가 잘못 그려진 경우도 있었다. 따라서 제7차 교과서와 교사용지도서를 개편할 때에는 제7차 교육과정에서 전통음악내용을 구체화·체계화시키지 못했던 약점과 제6차 교과서와 교사용 지도서에서 나타난 문제점을 보완하여 전통음악내용체계를 확립시키고, 내용설명을 확충시키며 그 내용에 오류가 없도록 해야할 것이다. 또 교육과정의 내용이 제대로 적용되도록 유의하고 반드시 교과서와 교사용 지도서 편찬방향에 부합되도록 내용을 점검하여야 할 것이다. 그리고 추후에 교육과정을 개정할 때에는 일관성 있는 전통음악 내용체계를 확립하여야 할 것이다.
