어린이집 영아기 교사를 위한 보수교육 내용의 실제와 기대

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 영아기 교사를 위한 보수교육 내용의 실제와 기대를 알아보고 교사의 학력, 경력, 자격유형, 기관유형, 영아연령에 따른 차이를 분석해보는 데 있다. 이를 통하여 보수교육 내용을 개발하는데 있어서 어떤 점을 고려해야 하는 지 살펴봄으로써 보수교육 내용의 질을 향상시키기 위한 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다. 이와 같은 목적으로 다음과 같은 연구문제를 설정하였다. 1. 보수교육 내용의 실제와 기대는 어떠한가? 2. 보수교육 내용의 실제에 대한 교사의 평가는 배경변인(학력, 경력, 자격증 유형, 기관유형, 영아연령)에 따라 차이가 있는가? 3. 보수교육 내용에 대한 교사의 기대는 교사의 배경변인(학력, 경력, 자격증 유형, 기관유형, 영아연령)에 따라 차이가 있는가? 4. 교사가 인식하고 있는 보수교육 내용의 문제점은 무엇인가? 본 연구는 서울시에 위치한 65개의 어린이집에 재직하고 있는 보육교사 198명을 연구대상으로 하여 설문지를 통해 영아기 교사를 위한 보수교육 내용의 실제와 기대를 알아보았다. 영아기 교사를 위한 보수교육 내용의 실제와 기대를 분석하기 위하여 신교준(1995)이 Peterson(1984)의 Training needs 를 기초로 제작한 연구도구를 수정·보완하여 사용하였다. 자료분석은 영아기 교사를 위한 보수교육 내용에 대한 실제와 기대가 전체적으로 어떻게 나타났는지 평균과 대응표본t(Paired-t)검증을 통해 알아보았다. 또한 교사의 학력, 경력, 자격증유형, 기관유형, 영아연령에 따른 보수교육 내용의 실제와 기대가 차이가 있는지 알아보기 위해 일원분산분석(ANOVA)을 실시하였다. 차이가 나타난 경우 사후검증을 위하여 Scheffe검증을 하였다. 본 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 영아기 교사를 위한 보수교육 내용은 실제가 기대에 비해 미흡한 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 교사의 학력, 경력, 자격증유형, 기관유형, 영아연령에 따라 보수교육 내용의 실제에 대한 교사의 평가를 살펴보면 교사들은 전반적으로 보수교육 내용의 실제가 미흡하다고 보았다. 또한 교사의 대부분은 보수교육 내용의 각 영역 중에서 부모교육이 가장 미흡하다고 보았다. 교사의 배경변인에 따른 보수교육 내용에 대한 실제에 대한 교사의 평가는 통계적으로 유의미하게 차이가 나타나지는 않았다. 셋째, 교사의 학력, 경력, 자격증유형, 기관유형, 영아연령에 따라 보수교육 내용의 기대를 살펴보면 교사들은 전반적으로 보수교육 내용에 대한 기대가 높았으며 교사의 배경변인에 따라 가장 기대가 높은 보수교육 내용의 영역이 다르게 나타났다. 넷째, 보수교육 내용의 문제점에 대한 교사의 인식을 조사해본 결과 영아기 교사를 위한 보수교육 내용의 부족, 실제적으로 현장에 적용할 수 있는 보수교육 내용의 부족, 보수교육 내용의 다양성 부족 등으로 나타났다. ; The Purpose of this study is to analyze the actual state and infant/ toddler caregiver s expectations for in-service education contents and to determin the differces in actual state and infant/ toddler caregivers expectations depending on the various background of them, such as education, experience, type of certification, type of daycare center, age of infant/ toddler. The result should provide Basic information for improving the quality of in-service education contents. The research questions in the study are as follows. 1. How are the actual state and infant/toddler care giver s expectations for in-service education contents? 2. Are there differences in actual state of in-service education contents based on the background of the caregiver? 3. Are there differences in infant/toddler caregiver s expectation of in-service education contents based on the background of the caregiver? 4. What are the problems of in-service education contents for infant/toddler caregiver? The study was conducted with consensus studies of 198 caregivers in seoul. All of them had been recevied an in-service education. The instrument was a questionaire method. The questionaire was modified and used by the researcher, which was originally developed by Kyo Joon, Shin(1995) based on Peterson(1984) s Training needs . In order to analyze the collected data, percentage, average, distributions. Paired-t test, one-way ANOVA, Scheffe tests were used, and SPSS program was executed. The result of this study can be summarized as follows. First, There were differences in actual state and infant/toddler caregiver s expectation for in-service education contents. Second, There were differences in actual stae of in-service education contents based on the background of the caregiver. Most of caregevers with various background recognized that the actual stae of in-service education contents were insufficient. They tend to rate the actual sate ot parent education the lowest. Third, Threr were differences in infant/toddler caregiver s expectation of in-service education contents based on the background of the caregiver. Each caregiver rated different categories of in-service education contents depending on the background of them. Fourth, The problems in in-service education contents were recognized such as lack of in-service education contents for infant/toddler caregiver, lack of practical in-service education contents, lack of diversity in in-service education contents and lack of connetion between Theory and Pratice.
