인터넷을 활용한 기독교교육 : 교회교육을 중심으로

Abstract

이 연구의 목적은 인터넷 웹 사이트를 중심으로 기독교교육과 관련된 사이트들과 일반적인 교육사이트들의 적용사례를 비교 분석하여 일반교육과 구별되는 교회교육을 위한 인터넷의 활용방안을 모색하는데 있다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 정보화 시대의 기독교교육에 대하여 생각해 보았으며, 인터넷을 활용한 교육의 기능과 장ㆍ단점, 인터넷을 활용한 교육 적용사례 분석, 교회교육을 위한 인터넷의 활용방안 모색 등을 다루어 보았다. 좀더 구체적으로 주요 연구내용을 살펴보면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교회교육을 위한 인터넷의 활용방안을 마련하기 위하여 이론적 기초로서 정보화 시대의 기독교교육을 살펴보았다. 둘째, 인터넷의 교육적 가치 탐구와 인터넷에서의 교회교육의 가능성을 탐구하기 위하여 인터넷의 교육적 가치 중 교육에 활용되고 있는 인터넷의 종류, 인터넷을 활용한 교육의 기능, 그리고 인터넷을 활용한 교육의 장점과 단점을 살펴보았으며, 이와 함께 인터넷을 활용한 교회교육의 가능성과 제한점도 살펴보았다. 셋째, 교회교육을 위한 인터넷의 활용방안을 마련하기 위한 실천적 기초로서 일반교육 관련 사이트와 기독교교육 관련 사이트를 비교 분석하였다. 구체적으로 기독교교육 관련 사이트와 일반교육 관련 사이트를 분석하고, 교회 사이트와 학교 사이트의 교육 적용 사례를 기술적인 차원에서 비교 분석하여 인터넷에서의 교회교육과 일반교육의 차이점을 도출하였다. 넷째, 정보화 시대의 기독교교육, 인터넷의 교육적 가치, 그리고 인터넷을 활용한 교육 적용 사례 분석을 바탕으로 하여 인터넷을 활용한 교회교육 아이템의 구현과 인터넷 교육 모델을 제시하였다. 이 연구를 통하여, 교육과 관련된 인터넷 이용 비중이 높아지고 있는 상황에서 교인들을 교육하고, 돌보며, 더 나아가 전도와 선교를 하기 위해 교회에서도 구체적이고 조직적인 웹 사이트를 구축할 필요가 있다는 것을 인식하였다. 인터넷을 활용한 기독교교육이 활성화되기 위한 사항들은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교회의 정보화와 교회교육의 특성을 고려한 인터넷의 교회교육을 담당할 정보 담당 사역자를 두어야 한다. 둘째, 이러한 일들이 체계적이고 조직적으로 이루어지기 위해서는 교계 차원의 지원과 법제화가 이루어져야 한다. 셋째, 인터넷 상의 교육은 오프라인 상의 교육과 마찬가지로 교육자와 피교육자의 역할분담이 뚜렷하지만, 인터넷 상의 특성상 적절한 교육 솔루션과 컨텐츠(Contents)를 제공할 수 있는 정보 제공자(Information Provider; IP) 또는 컨텐츠 제공자(Contents Provider; CP), 그리고 컨텐츠 생산자(Contents Builder; CB)등의 역할분담이 이루어져야 한다. 넷째, 교육자와 피교육자 그리고 정보제공자의 정보공유가 원활하게 이루어져야 한다. 다섯째, 교회교육의 특성을 정확히 파악하여 인터넷의 특성에 부합하는 미래지향적인 기술과 이를 고려한 적정한 아이템을 구상하고 구현해야만 한다. 마지막으로 그에 따른 교육관련 솔루션의 끊임없는 개발과 지속적인 업그레이드(Upgrade) 계획이 포함되어야 한다. ; The purpose of this study is to grope for the internet application of church-instruction distinguished from other instructions by comparing and analyzing case sites dealing with Christian education and others. For this purpose, the study explores Christian education in this information era, analyses functions, good and weak points of internet-based education, application instances executed by internet-based education and searches for right internet application for Christian education. The details are as follow: First, I have looked into Christian education in the information era as theoretical basis, later to propose the internet application for church-instruction. Second, I have searched for educational potential of internet and the possibility of internet-based church-instruction. All the features and functions along with good and weak points of internet-based education are examined and naturally the possibility and limitation of internet-based church-instruction is my main concern. Third, I have compared and analyzed other education sites and church- instruction related sites as practical basis for preparation of internet application for church-instruction. Fourth, I have presented Internet applied church-instruction items and the internet-based education models through analyzing Christian education in the information era, educational value of the internet and the application cases. Through this study, I have recognized building up concrete and systematic web sites is essential for educating church community and for further missionary work under the situation that the internet applied education goes prevailing. Followings are suggestions to activate internet-based Christian instruction. Firstly, it keep religious workers in charge of information to manage internet-based church education considering the information oriented church and peculiar church instruction. Secondly, the support of Christian community and legislation are necessary to make these works systematic and organized. Thirdly, online instruction like offline is distinctive about role allotment of educator and educatee but on account of online system, there should be role allotment of information provider(IP) or contents provider(CP) capable of providing suitable education solution and contents and contents builder(CB). Fourthly, information needs to be shared harmoniously among educators, educatees and Information Provider. Fifthly, design and materialize future aspiring technology and its applied proper items corresponding to distinctive features of Internet through correct understanding about church-instruction. Finally, it include continuous development of education- related solutions and lasting upgrade plan.
