Johannes Brahms의 Clarinet Sonata Op.120 No.2에 관한 연구 및 분석

Abstract

본 논문은 대표적인 브람스(Johannes Brahms 1833 ~ 1897) Clarinet Sonata Op.120 No.2의 작품을 연구분석하고 고전 형식에 신선한 예술미와 뛰어난 새로운 기교를 융합하여 절대음악에 정진한 독자적인 음악세계를 표현해온 19세기 중기의 대표적인 작곡가인 브람스의 음악적 특징을 연구해 보고자 한다. 작곡가의 시대적인 양식을 이해한다는 것은 작곡자나 음악 학자뿐만 아니라 연주가에게도 매우 중요하다고 생각하여 본 논문에서는 브람스가 사용한 전통적인 소나타 형식의 비교와 더불어 음악적 양식을 연구분석 하였다. J. Brahms Sonata No.2는 3악장으로 구성되어 있으며 1악장 Allegro amabile 전형적인 소나타 형식, 2악장 Allegro appassionato 복합 3부분 형식, 그리고 3악장 Andante Con moto 변주곡 형식으로 되어있다. 연구분석의 방법은 문헌과 참고자료를 통하여 브람스의 생애와 음악적 특징을 살펴본 후 본 논문에서 다룰 이 곡의 전 악장을 중심으로 동기의 전개방식, 형식, 화성진행, 리듬형태와 전개 등을 연구 분석하고자 한다. ; The purpose of this study is to review and analyze Johannes Brahms (1833~1897) representative work, the Clarinet Sonata Op.120 No.2. The goa is to determine the musical characteristics of this leading composer in mid-19th century who mixed a fresh aesthetics and outstanding techniques with the classical form only to express his unique world of music. Understanding of a composer s the form of the times is essental for performers as well as composers and music scholars, and in this vein, the researcher attempted to comparatively review the conventional sonatas composed by Brahms. Johannes Brahms Sonata No.2 consists of three movements: the firs movement is Allegro amabile a typical sonata form, and the second movement is a complex three-piece Allegro apppassionato, and the third movement is an Andante con moto, variation. Relevant literature was reviewed to understand Brahms s life and his musical characteristics, and therefore his model work, the sonata No.2 was analyzed to understand the development of its motive, forms, harmonic progression, rhythm types, and development.
