Studies on economics relation between vietnam and Korea (focusing on period of last ten years)

Abstract

한국은 현재 베트남의 가장 큰 교역국의 하나이자 중요 투자국이다. 1992년 양국이 공식 외교관계를 설립한 이래로 양국의 협조적인 관계는 더욱 더 확대 심화되어가고 있는데 무역과 투자 뿐만 아니라 노동, 문화 교류, 기술 이전 등의 다양한 방면에서 교류가 활성화 되어 있다. 한국은 현재 만 명 이상의 베트남 노동자를 한국 내에서 고용하고 있으며 한국정부와 기업들은 베트남 노동시장의 고급화에 일조하고 있다. 매해 수많은 베트남 노동자들이 상위 직업교육을 받고 한국 내에서 고용되고 있으며 이 추세는 매년 증가하고 실정이다. 양국의 문화교류 프로그램은 상호이해와 경제협력을 근간으로 실행되고 있으며 매해 수많은 회의와 문화공연 들이 양국에서 주최되고 있다. 한국 투자자들이 베트남 문화와 시장에 대한 이해를 더 높임으로써 베트남에 더 많은 투자액과 기술이전이 이루어 지고 있는 것이다. 현재까지 베트남과 한국의 경제협력은 주목할만하나 양국이 더 많은 노력을 한다면 괄목할만한 성장을 이룰 수 있을 것으로 예상된다. 이 논문에서 필자는 베트남과 한국 양국의 경제협력 현황을 분석한 후 상호협력의 전망과 더 발전적인 관계 추구를 위한 방법을 제시하고 있다. ; Korea is among the largest trading partners of Vietnam these days. It is also one of a leading investor in Vietnam currently. Since the two nations established official diplomatic relationship in 1992, the cooperative becomes more and more intensive and broaden. Not only trade and investment are heavily focused but also labor, cultural exchanges and technology transfer are newly bilateral interests. Currently, Korea has been using more than ten thousand of Vietnamese workers. Korea government and Chaebols are significantly contributing in manpower sharpening in Vietnam. More and more Vietnamese have been educated and trained or employed in Korea. Cultural exchange programs have been implemented for more fully mutual understanding, basic of economic cooperation. Annually, thousands conferences, cultural performances are implemented mutually by Korean and Vietnamese. Since the Korean investors get more familiar with Vietnam market and otherwise, larger and larger investments come from Korea, leading more intensive technology transfer to Vietnam also. The speedy and overall cooperation between Vietnam and Korea are remarkable. However, it could be goaled at much better point if both countries put more efforts for the potential relationship. Further conditions should be considered for more effective relationship. By studying present status of economic relation between Vietnam and Korea, this paper will figure out real prospects of bilateral cooperation as well as introduce necessary recommendations for deepening relationship.
