J. S. Bach의 'Italian concerto BWV.971'에 관한 연구

Abstract

본 논문에서는 바흐의 「이탈리안 콘체르토」를 분석해 거기에 나타난 바흐 콘체르토의 특징과 구조를 알아보고자 하였다. 이러한 분석을 위해 우선 본문에서는 바로크 시대의 콘체르토와 바흐의 콘체르토에 대해 알아보았다. 바로크 시대의 콘체르토에서는 콘체르토의 어원과 유래 그리고 콘체르토가 처음 사용된 성악 분야에서의 콘체르토의 발달을 알아보았다. 그리고 바로크 시대 기악 콘체르토에서는 콘체르토에 사용된 바로크 시대 음악 원리와 콘체르토 그로소, 독주 콘체르토의 발전에 대해 알아보았다. 또 비발디를 중심으로 리토르넬로 형식과 작품 스타일을 통해 바로크 기악 콘체르토의 특징에 대해 알아보았다. 그 다음 바흐의 콘체르토에서는 바흐의 콘체르토 스타일과 일반적 구조, 악장별 구조, 그가 사용한 리토르넬로 형식의 특징과 콘체르토 작품을 통해 그의 콘체르토에 나타난 이탈리아적 스타일과 바흐적 스타일을 알아보았다. 그리고 이러한 이해를 바탕으로 「이탈리안 콘체르토」를 분석하였다. 이탈리안 콘체르토는 전체 3악장 형식으로 되어있으며 1, 3악장은 5개의 리토르넬로로 구성된 리토르넬로 형식으로 되어있다. 이렇게 일반적 구조를 보면 이탈리아의 콘체르토 특히 비발디의 콘체르토의 영향을 받았음을 알 수 있다. 그러나 각 악장의 내부 구조를 살펴보면 1악장의 한숨쉬는 듯한 음형, 주기적 악절로 된 주제사용 등과 2악장의 악보에 음표로 기록된 겉으로 드러난 꾸밈음 사용 그리고 3악장의 2성 대위법, 제 2주제의 사용 등에서 1730년대 작곡 당시 독일적 스타일과 바흐적 작곡 스 타일이 나타남을 알 수 있다. 따라서 이곡은 「이탈리안 콘체르토」라는 제목과는 다르게 이탈리아 스타일 뿐이 아니라 독일적 스타일도 포함된 바흐적 양식으로 작곡된 곡임을 알 수 있다. 또한 이 곡이 리토르넬로 형식에 제 2주제를 사용한 것과 길어진 중간 부분이 나타난 것 등에 의해 전고전 시대의 콘체르토 양식에 영향을 주었음을 알 수 있다. ; This study is purposed find out the characteristics and structure of Baroque concerto which is based on the analysis of Bach s「Italian concerto BWV 971」. This study first focus on the Baroque concerto and Bach s concerto for the analysis. The main body of the dissertation consists of three chapters. The first chapter surveys origin of concerto, development of concerto in vocal music, characteristics of Baroque music and development of instrumental concerto in Baroque era. The second chapter surveys style, general structure, movement types, ritornello structure and works of J. S. Bach s concerto works. And the final chapter discuses the analysis of「Italian concerto.」 Italian concerto consists of three-movement structure. The 1st & The 3rd movement consist of ritornello form with 5 ritornellos which reflects A. Vivaldi s influence on Bach s concerto style. However, the elements of「Italian concerto」such as sigh figures, periodical themes, written-out ornamentations, double counterpoint, and the second theme represent 1730 s German and Bachian style . Therefore 「Italian concerto」is composed in Bachian style, which includes Italian style as well as German style. In addition, this work influences the concertos in pre-classical era.
