디지털 시대의 재택근무를 위한 Multi-media desk 디자인에 관한 연구

Abstract

디지털화에 따른 IT(Information Technology) 기술의 발달로 인해 근무형태가 유연해지고 일터의 개념도 크게 변화하고 있다. 시간을 자율적으로 사용할 수 있는 프리랜서형 직장이 늘어나고, 정시 출퇴근제가 일반화된 회사에서 자율화를 도입한 Flexible Time제를 실시하는 등 근무 시간과 장소의 자율화 추세가 확산되고 있다. IT기술을 적극 이용한 SOHO((Small Office and Home Office)형태의 가정, 원거리에서 업무 수행을 하는 원격 근무제 등 시간과 공간의 제약이 없어짐에 따라 앞으로의 디지털 시대는 재택근무화로의 변화가 두드러질 것으로 전망 된다. 구조조정, 고용형태의 변화 등 사회 경제적 요인과 나날이 발전하는 디지털 정보기술, 그리고 개인의 건강과 시간을 무엇보다 중시하는 현대인들의 가치관의 변화는 재택근무화를 촉진 시키는 배경이 된다. 이처럼, 개인과 기업의 관계 형태는 종래의 기업 주체의 존재형태나 일 중시의 생활에서 변화하고 있으며, 기업에 소속하고 있는 개인의 의식은 점점 희박해지고 일하는 장소로서의 기업이 생활하는 장소로써의 가정에 통합되어 간다. 미래의 사무 환경에서는 직장과 가정의 사이에 놓여진 공과 사의 개념적인 경계가 모호해지므로, 변화하는 환경에 적응하는 새로운 업무 형태로서의 재택근무 공간은 미래의 사무환경에서 빼놓을 수 없는 일부로서 자리를 굳힐 것으로 예상 된다. 기존의 가정 환경은, 사회와 가정의 개념적 요소들이 융합 되는 디지털 시대의 업무 공간을 제공하기에는 부족한 점이 많다. 가정 내 효율적인 업무공간 조성은 디지털 시대의 재택근무화 환경에서 해결해야 할 과제로서 충분한 업무 공간의 확보, 완벽한 멀티미디어 시스템, 외부와의 원활한 의사 소통을 위한 화상 통신 장비와 네트워크, 외부 이동 통신기기와의 편리한 인터페이스 등이 요구된다. 이에 본 연구는 다음과 같은 순서로 진행 되었다. 제 1장에서는 연구의 배경과 목적, 그리고 연구의 방법과 범위를 설명하였고, 제 2장에서는 디지털화와 재택근무환경에 대한 내용을 다루었다. 디지털의 개념과 디지털 시대의 환경 변화에 대한 일반적인 고찰과 재택근무의 개념, 배경, 현황 및 재택근무의 효과에 대해 살펴보았다. 특히, 멀티미디어의 사용을 중심으로 한 실제 재택근무자들의 현황 분석을 통해 기존 환경의 문제점을 도출해 본다. 제 3장에서는 디지털 미디어 제품의 전반적인 기술적 특징과 네트워크 기술에 대해 살펴본 후, 사무기기의 중심인 PC와 디스플레이 기기, In-put 기기, A/V기기를 중심으로 디지털 멀티미디어 제품의 기술과 시장 동향 및 디자인 트랜드를 분석하여 앞으로의 발전 방향을 예측해 본다. 제 4장에서는 디자인 목표를 설정하고 기능 체계를 구성하며 인간 공학적 요소에 대해 검토한 후, 디지털 제품과 인테리어 및 가구 디자인의 조형, 칼라, 재질의 트랜드를 파악하여 디자인 방향을 설정한다. 그리고 디지털 멀티미디어 데스크의 디자인 컨셉을 세우고, 아이디어 전개를 통해 최종 안을 제안하였다. 이상과 같이 재택근무환경이라는 디지털 시대의 업무 환경 변화를 연구 배경으로 하여, 기존의 주거(Home)공간에 업무(Office) 공간의 도입으로 야기되는 현재 환경에서의 불편함 점을 해결 할 수 있고, 더 나아가 사용자의 편의성과 업무의 효율성 높이고자 한다. 개인의 독립적 공간 제공이나 수납 등 가구적인 개념보다는, 디지털 문화에 대응하는 멀티미디어화와 정보화에 초점을 맞추어 진행하였다. 작업대라는 전통적인 책상의 개념과 역할에서 벗어나, 멀티미디어 와 네트워크 라는 디지털 문화를 흡수한 가정 내의 가장 사회적인 공간이며, 사회와 개인의 커뮤니티가 교류할 수 있는 정보기기의 성격을 가진 새로운 개념의 멀티미디어 Desk를 제안하는데 본 연구의 의의를 둔다. ; The development of IT(Information Technology) stirred by digitalization has been diversifying the work form and totally changing the definition of workshop. Specifically, the liberalization of the time and the space of work such as the increase of the freelancer-type work providing the chance to use time in his or her own decision and, the practice of the flexible-time way which means the adoption of the self-regulation at the fixed-time way operated companies have become the worldwide tendency. It is expected that the limitation of the time and space at work will be eliminated by the appearance of the SOHO(Small Office and Home Office) type home spurred by the progress of the IT and the remote work meaning working apart from the conventional workshop and so forth. And it decidedly means the transition to home-working trend at the digital age. The social and economic change such as restructuring and the employment system and the progressing digital IT and the modern value focused on the personal health and leisure time is the most important reason for the home-working trend. In this way, the traditional company and work-centered relationship between the company and the individual has been changing and, the individual consciousness towards company has been weakening and, the company as work space will be gradually integrated into the home as a living space. It is expected that the home-working space as the new working space fit for the changing environment will be the essential part of the future working environment because of the blur of the boundary between the working life at company and private life at home. The traditional home environment is definitely not enough for digital age working space which the definition of the society and the home is integrated. In the digital age home working environment, it is indispensable to make the efficient working space at home such as ensuring the wide working space, flawless multimedia system, screen communication equipment and network for the smooth communication with outside, and the handy interface with the outside mobile communication equipment. So, the research will be developed as below. In chapter 1. the background, purpose, method and range of the research will be demonstrated. In chapter 2. the digitalization and the home-working environment will be conducted. The definition of digital and the general study about the environment variation at the digital age will be presented. And the definition, background, present situation, and the effect of home-working will be presented, too. Especially, I will try to find the problem of the traditional environment through the analysis about the present condition focused on the use of multimedia of the actual home workers. In chapter 3. First, I will handle the overall technological characteristics of the multimedia goods and network technology. I will analyze the digital multimedia goods technology such as PC and display electronics, In-put tools, and A/V tools followed. I will also analyze the market and design trend. And I will try to predict the direction in the future based on the above findings. In chapter 4. First, I will set the design goal, organize function system, and examine the human technology element. And, I will try to forecast the direction of the design based on the study about digital goods, interior decoration, and the trend of the design modeling, color, and quality of furniture. Finally, I will set the design concept of the digital multimedia desk, and propose the ultimate suggestion through idea development. As above, I will suggest the present inconvenience caused by the integration of office space into traditional home space will be able to be worked out and user s convenience and work efficiency will be advanced still more, through the study about the home-working of working environment change at the digital age. I will focus more on the progress towards multimedia and information fit for the digital age than meaning of furniture such as providing individual with the personal space, or placing stuffs. The purpose of this study is to suggest the multimedia desk of the new meaning characterized by the most social space at home including the digital culture of multimedia and network and, the information equipment between society and individual, emerging from the traditional definition and role.
