여대생의 모발건강관리에 대한 지식, 태도 및 행위에 대한 조사연구

Abstract

본 연구는 4년제 대학에 재학중인 여대생을 대상으로 모발건강관리에 대한 지식, 태도 및 행위를 파악해 봄으로써 건강증진 행위를 촉진하는 효과적인 모발건강교육 프로그램 개발을 위한 기초자료를 제공하는데 그 목적을 두었다. 본 연구는 서울시내에 위치한 8개 대학교 여대생 428명과 인천광역시, 광주광역시, 대전광역시 대구광역시 소재 6개 대학교 245명과 중소도시인 순천시, 진주시, 수원시에 위치한 3개 대학교 127명 등 총 800명을 대상으로 하였고 사전조사를 실시한 후 설문지를 수정, 보완하여 2000년 10월 1일부터 10월 20일까지 20일간에 걸쳐 본 조사를 실시하였으며 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 모발건강관리에 대한 지식의 평균점수는 14.56점(26점 만점)이었다. (1) 일반적 특성에서는 가족총수입과 한달 용돈이 많을수록, 외모에 대한 만족도가 높을수록 모발건강관리에 대한 지식수준이 높았다(p<0.001). 또한 외모에 대한 관심도가 높을수록 지식수준이 높은 경향을 보였다(p<0.01). 학년이 높을수록 지식 수준이 높았고(p<0.05) 출신고교 소재지가 대도시일 경우가 가장 모발건강관리에 대한 지식 수준이 높았다(p<0.05). (2) 건강특성에 따른 모발건강관리에 대한 지식 수준은 건강에 대한 관심이 많은 수록 지식수준이 높았고(p<0.001) 인지된 건강상태가 좋을수록 최근 1년 간 질병 경험이 없다고 응답한 경우가 모발건강에 대한 지식 수준이 높았다(p<0.05). (3)모발관련 특성의 경우 모발건강관리에 대한 지식 수준은 인지된 모발상태가 좋을수록, 모발에 대한 고민이 없다고 응답한 경우가 지식 수준이 높았고(p<0.001), 피부과 의원을 통해 정보를 습득한 경우가 모발건강관리에 대한 지식수준이 가장 높았다(p<0.05). 2. 모발건강관리에 대한 태도의 평균점수는 72.83점 (95점 만점)이었다. (1) 일반적 특성에서는 가족총수입이 높을수록, 외모에 대한 관심도가 높을수록 모발건강관리에 대한 태도 점수가 높은 경향을 보였고(p<0.001), 학년이 높을수록, 외모에 대한 만족도가 클수록 태도 점수가 높았다(p<0.01). 또한 한달 동안 쓰는 용돈이 많을수록 모발건강관리에 대한 태도 수준이 높았다(p<0.05). (2) 건강특성별로는 건강에 대해 관심이 많다고 응답한 여대생이 모발건강관리에 대한 태도 점수가 높았다(p<0.001). (3) 모발관련 특성의 경우 모발건강관리에 대한 태도 점수는 인지된 모발상태가 좋을수록 높았고 (p<0.001), 모발에 대한 고민이 없다고 응답한 경우 태도 점수가 높았고 통계학적으로 유의하였다(p<0.001). 피부과 의원을 통해 정보를 습득한 경우가 태도 점수가 가장 높았다(p<0.001). 3. 모발건강관리 행위의 평균점수는 61.77점(105점 만점)이었다. (1) 일반적 특성에서는 가족 총수입이 많을 수록, 본인의 한달 용돈이 많을수록 모발건강관리에 대한 행위 수준이 높았고 (p<0.001), 외모에 대한 만족도와 외모에 대한 관심도가 높을수록 행위 수준이 높은 경향을 보였다(p<0.001). (2)건강특성에 따른 모발건강관리 행위 수준은 건강에 대한 관심이 많다고 응답한 여대생이 높았고(p<0.001), 최근 1년 동안 질병경험이 있다고 응답한 경우 행위 수준이 높았다(p<0.05). (3) 모발관련 특성에서는 본인의 모발상태가 좋다고 응답한 여대생이 행위 수준이 높았고(p<0.001), 모발에 대한 고민이 없다고 응답한 경우 행위 수준이 높았다(p<0.01). 피부과 의원을 통해 정보를 습득한 경우가 행위수준이 가장 높았다(p<0.01). 4. 모발건강관리에 대한 지식, 태도 및 행위와의 관련성은 모발건강관리에 대한 지식이 높을수록 태도가 긍정적 이였고(p<0.01), 모발건강관리에 대한 태도가 긍정적일수록 모발건강관리행위의 실천도가 높을 것으로 조사되었다(p<0.01). 5. 모발건강관리 지식에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석한 결과 가장 잘 설명할 수 있는 요인은 모발상태 였고, 다음은 모발건강관리에 대한 태도 , 모발건강관리에 대한 행위 , 가족 총수입 의 순이었다. 6. 모발건강관리 태도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석한 결과 가장 잘 설명할 수 있는 요인은 모발건강관리에 대한 행위 였고, 다음은 모발건강관리에 대한 지식 , 건강에 대한 관심 , 모발건강관리에 대한 정보 습득원 , 외모에 대한 관심 의 순이었다. 7. 모발건강관리 행위에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석한 결과 가장 잘 설명할 수 있는 요인은 모발건강관리에 대한 태도 였고, 다음은 모발건강관리에 대한 지식 , 건강에 대한 관심 , 모발상태 , 가족 총수입 , 한달 용돈 의 순이었다. ; The purpose of this study is to know about the knowledge, attitude and behavior about hair health care of college women students, and then to develop an educational program for an effective hair care that can promote health improvement behavior. The respondents of this study were 650 college women of universities in Seoul and 428 college women of universities in Inchun, Kwangjoo-city, Daejeon-city, or Daegoo-city and 127 college women of universities which are located in small cities. Questionnaries used in this study were questioned some students in advance before used in this thesis, and then after pilot administrated to the sujects from 1, October 2000 to 20th, October 2000. And the result are followes. 1. Average score in knowledge of the students about hair health care is of 14.56 points out of 26. (1) In a survey about the general characteristics of hair health care, the higher total income of family and the higher spending money and the higher and their degree are, the higher the level of the knowledge about hair health care are(p<0.001). And the higher the level of the knowledge about concern appearance are and the higher the are, the higher the level of their knowledge about hair health care tend to be (p<0.01). Viewed from the types of the universities about hair health care, this research shows that the students graduated from high schools in big cities know the most things about hair health care(p<0.05). (2) In regard of health feature, the college women answering that they have much interests in health know the most things about hair health care(p<0.001). and the level of knowledge about hair health care is higher in proportion to their hair condition(p<0.05), the level of knowledge about hair health care is higher in disease experience nothing. (3) In a survey about hair-related feature, as for the ways for the students to get information about hair health care, the ways that they get information from dermatologists are shown to be the highest level of knowledge about hair health care(p<0.05). and the level of knowledge about hair health care is in proportion to their hair condition, shown to be the highest level of knowledge about hair health care(p<0.001). 2. Average score in attitude about hair health care is points of 72.83 points is out of 95. (1) In the case of general feature about hair health care, the higher total income of family is, the higher the level of attitude about hair health care tends to be(p<0.001). And according as the respondents in this theses are the students of women s universities and those at co-ed. the level of attitude about hair health care is shown to be different. The higher spending money and the higher their school year and their degree are, the higher the level of the attitude about hair health care are(p<0.01). And the higher the level of the attitude about concern appearance are and the higher the are, the higher the level of their attitude about hair health care tend to be (p<0.01). (2) In view of health distinction, the respondents answering that they are much interested in health show higher level of attitude about hair health care(p<0.001). (3) As for the hair-related feature, the level of attitude about hair health care is in proportion to their hair condition, the students that have no hair troubles have positive attitude toward hair care. And according to this questionaries, when the students get information about the level of attitude about hair health care is higher in proportion to their hair condition(p<0.001), dermatologists they have higher level of attitude about hair health care(p<0.001) 3. Average score in behavior about hair health care is 61.77 points out of 105.. (1) In a survey about the general characteristics of hair health care, the higher total income of family and the higher spending money and their degree are, the higher the level of the behavior about hair health care are(p<0.001). And the higher the level of the knowledge about concern appearance are and the higher the are, the higher the level of their behavior about hair health care tend to be (p<0.01). according as they are more satisfied with their appearance and looks they show the higher level of behavior about hair health care(p<0.001). (2) In research on the health feature, the students answering that they have much interest in health higher level of behavior in relation to hair health care (p<0.001). (3) In the questionaries about hair-related feature, the level of behavior about hair health care is higher in the case of the students answering that their hair are in good condition(p<0.001), and that they get information about hair from dermatologists (p<0.01). 4. The more they have knowledge about hair health care, the more positive their attitudes toward hair health care are (p<0.01). And the more positive their attitudes about hair health care are, the more they practice the behavior about hair health care(p<0.01). 5. An analysis of factors that affect the knowledge about hair health care showed that hair condition had the highest correlation with knowledge about hair health care and followed by factors, in their order of significance attitude about hair health care , behavior about hair health care , the total income of family . 6. An analysis of factors that affect the attitude about hair health care showed that behavior about hair health care had the highest correlation with attitude about hair health care and followed by factors, in their order of significance knowledge about hair health care , interest in health , the ways that they get a hair health care information , concern appearance . 7. An analysis of factors that affect the behavior about hair health care showed that attitude about hair health care had the highest correlation with behavior about hair health care and followed by factors, in their order of significance, knowledge about hair health care , interest in health , hair condition , the total income of family . a spending money .
