; The numbers of Internet users and hosts are increasing and Electronic Commerce market consisting of business-to-business and business-to-consumer is growing sharply. Korea is not an exception. And it is clear that the Information and Communication Technology industry in Korea takes a role to stimulate Electronic Commerce and to lead economic growth annually, which may be the first step to bring on new economy paradigm. However, there will be an uncertainty whether Electronic Commerce causes trade surplus or not and unclearness of the time lag between turning point from current account deficit to current account surplus. Among other things it absolutely depends on national trade policy. It is necessary for Korea to adopt appropriate trade policy in order to improve current stagnated economic situation as it has high trade dependency rate. Under the new Networked Digital Economy Korea requires to build up new trade policies by benchmarking advanced state in terms of Digital Economy and at last it will be a hub of it.-
