고대한국복식의 원류에 관한 연구 : 스키타이계 복식문화를 중심으로

Abstract

本 論文은 上古時代에 있어서의 韓國民族服飾의 始源形態를 알아보고 그 源流에 대하여 考察한 것이다. 韓國服飾文化의 바탕을 이루는 것은 古代 中國의 文物과 對照하여 存在하는 遊牧民의 文物을 뜻하는 이른바 廣義의 스키타이系 服飾文化이다. 北方 Steppe 地帶에는 B.C.1000年경 遊牧騎馬民族이 發生해서 B.C. 700年경에는 北方유라시아 전지역에 걸쳐 騎馬民族國家를 형성하였다. 스키티안은 최초의 가장 완성된 騎馬人으로, 그들의 文化는 草原의 길을 통하여 멀리 아시아지역에 까지 영향을 미치게 되었다. 우리나라는 이같은 스키타이 系文化圈내에 있던, 우리민족의 根幹을 이루는 靑銅器時代,濊貊族의 到來와 함께 스키타이系服飾을 着用하게 되었던 것이다. 韓國古代時代服飾을 古記錄이나 古墳壁畵, 古墳出土品을 통하여 그 始源形과 源流를 살펴보면 다음과 같다. （1）冠帽: 弁形帽·鳥羽冠·臺輪式立飾冠 등에서 그 着用動機·方法·材料에 있어 스키타이系服飾의 영향을 보여준다. （2）衣服: 男女 모두 左임·窄袖의 臀部線정도까지 오는 上衣와 細袴·窮袴·寬袴의 上衣를 입었다. 이들 위에 덧입는 무릎아래길이의 長유도 스키타이系服飾에 속하는 것이다. （3）腰帶와 靴·화: 腰帶는 皮革製의 環帶의 끝에 動物形帶鉤를 단 革帶를 着用하였다. 靴는 목이 긴 革製靴를 신고, 또한 바지形에다 靴가 부착된 화를 착용하기도 하였다. 이같은 革帶·靴·화도 騎馬時 편리한 스키타이系服飾에서 그 源流를 찾아볼 수 있다. （4）裝飾具: 裝飾具는 衣服裝飾品·귀걸이·목걸이·팔찌·반지類로 나눌 수 있다. 그중 특히 金版의 衣服裝飾品이나 單환式·垂飾付耳飾（귀걸이）, 玉類연결式, 鎖式목걸이와 蛇腹文환式·金版환式·鎖式팔찌, 菱形·裝飾付반지 등에서 그 形態·樣式·着用方法등이 또한 스키타이系裝身具에서 그 源流를 찾을 수 있다. ; This thesis is to study the original form and to consider the source of Korean Ethnical Costume in ancient times. The background of Korean Ethnical Costume was originated from those northern mounted normadic groups, which was Scythe style Costume Culture. By first millenium B.C., mounted normadic group arose in the northern stepped and then by 700 B.C., nations of mounted groups were formed in all northern Eurasian land. Scythinas were the first-formed horsemen in the world and their civilization influenced those of far Aisatic sector alond the steppe route. In Korea, they began to wear Scythe shaped costume in advent of Yeamaek, the basis of present Korean race in Bronze Age. Through the antique records and paintings of Tombs bequests hereby describe the original forms of their source of Korean costume in ancient times. （1）Headgear: There was conical cap（of pointed cap）, feathered cap and crown. The motive and method of wearing, materials of them were influenced by Scythe style Costume. （2）Clothes: Both men and women wore jackets as upper garment with leftsided collars, narrow sleeves to the length of the hip line. As lower garment, they wore the tight trousers, kungo（attached with gusset）, wide trouser. Over the jacket and trouser they wore gown which was midi length. They also show close affinities to Scythe style clothes. （3）Belt and Boots: On the upper garments bound the leather belts that was hanged a hook that was shaped of animal form at the end. To the boots, they wore leather boots and Hwa（this is gootgear being depictd as one piece with trouser）. All of them were suitable for horse ridding activities and also the source of them was Scythe shaped costume. （4）Ornaments: Ornaments divided into dress trimmings, earrings, necklaces, bracelets, rings. Among others Gold Plaques intended as dress trimming and earrings of the plain ring and with pendnts, necklaces for the beads-link and torque type, bracelets which of the engraving of snake abdomen on it and addition with accessaries were found the source in Scythe style ornaments to the form, style, method of wearing of them.
