色을 이용한 꽃 이미지 硏究

Abstract

As a subject of human wants and yearning, nature has been the ground of artistic works and developed to various modes through the mental world of artists. The mysterious law of nature can promote aesthetic desire of express every phenomenon in the change of nature, since the surprising and mysterious law of nature is balanced in profound order of nature. Using a subject, flower in the order of nature, the present writer has pursued creative formativeness through the formative restructuring of wonderful aspects in its natural structure as it is. The flower is a subject of nature which satisfy aesthetic sensibility and gives mysterious beauty and vitality with its special shape and magical color. So it has been a subject of research of artists since early times, I have used the flower as a subject to express the internal sensibility of mine, too. In the process of visualization of flower image, the subject wasn t represented as it stands but the image of emotion, the shape of the flower was extended and changed to the unique structure of the flower itself to show the creative fancy world by liberal and subjective expression of colors. A shape of an object is transformed by the individual expressive will of an artist, and the image of the shape is restructured by the observation about the object. The transformation by extension of object can be restructured as new reality different from original image. This thesis is about the unique world of formative art by several artists with the analysis of pictures recreated by such extension and transformation. Colors was a way of expressing the image of flowers, since colors as formative language leading my works had some quality which affect human internal feelings. And then, I studied liberal utilization of subjective colors not the representation of an object itself for the understanding of colors. Because each color had its own character & expressive value, emotional effect was considered so that diverse impression or psychological reaction could appear. The reason was to get the flower image that expressed in my works using colors. In expression of colors, powder colors was used to show the fantastic and various images of the flower, then the effect by harmony with blue India ink, namely the possibility of blue India ink was tested as a role of color in the latter part of my works. The flower will be an esthetic subject of expression in my works in the future to picture my interior experience and emotion, and creative use of colors and new interpretation of flower image will be attempted on the basis of this study.; 자연은 인간의 끊임없는 동경과 열망의 대상으로서 예술활동의 모태가 되어 예술가의 정신적 세계를 거쳐 다양한 양식으로 승화되어 왔다. 놀랍고 신비한 자연의 법칙은 심오한 질서 속에서 조화로운 균형을 이루어 자연의 변화 속에서 일어나는 모든 현상에 대한 미적 표현욕구를 유발하기에 충분하다. 본인은 이러한 자연의 질서 속에서 꽃이라는 대상을 소재 삼아 그 생태 구조 속에서 발견한 놀라움을 실제로 보고 느낀 대로 조형적으로 재구성함으로써 독창적인 조형미를 추구하고자 하였다. 꽃은 미적 감성을 만족시켜주는 자연의 대상물로 특색 있는 형상이나 환상적인 색채에서 신비로운 아름다움과 생명력을 느끼게 한다. 그래서 오래 전부터 예술가들에 의해 끊임없이 연구대상이 되어왔으며, 본인에게 있어서도 미적 연구대상으로서 내면에서 표현하고자하는 감성을 꽃을 통해 작품으로 승화시켰다. 꽃의 이미지를 시각화하는 과정에서는 대상을 그대로 재현하는 것이 아니라 감성의 이미지로 형상화하고자 꽃의 형태를 크게 확대하여 변형시켜 꽃이 지니고 있는 독특한 구조를 부각시켰으며, 자유롭고 주관적인 색채표현에 의해 독자적인 환상의 세계를 드러내고자 하였다. 사물의 형태는 작가의 개인적인 표현의지에 의해 다양하게 변형되며, 대상의 관찰에 의해 형태의 이미지는 재구성된다. 사물의 확대로 인한 변형은 실제의 크기보다 커짐으로써 본래의 이미지에서 얻을 수 있었던 사실과는 다른 새로운 현실로 재창조된다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 확대변형에 의해 재창조된 그림들의 분석을 통하여 형태의 변형에 의해 형성된 작가들의 독특한 조형세계를 알아보았다. 본인 작품의 분위기를 주도하는 조형언어로서의 색채는 인간의 내적 감정에 즉흥적으로 작용하는 성질을 지니고있어 의도하고자하는 꽃의 이미지를 표현하는 수단으로 쓰였다. 이에 색의 이해를 돕고자 본래 사물의 고유색 그대로의 재현이 아닌 주관적인 색채의 자유로운 구사에 대해 연구해보았다. 그리고 색채에는 각각의 특성과 표현가치가 있어 색채에 따른 연상을 수반하여 다양한 인상을 갖도록 심리적인 반응을 불러일으켜 그러한 감정적 효과에 대해 고찰해보았다. 이는 본인의 작품에서 표현하고자하는 꽃의 이미지를 색채에 의해 얻고자 하기 위함이었다. 색을 표현하는데 있어서는 분채를 사용하여 환상적이면서도 다양한 꽃의 이미지를 드러내었으며, 본인의 작업 후반에는 청먹과의 조화로운 어우러짐에 의한 효과를, 즉 색채로서의 역할을 할 수 있는 청먹의 가능성을 살펴보았다. 꽃은 앞으로의 작업에 있어서도 본인의 내적 경험과 감성을 화면위로 나타내는 미적 표현의 대상으로 본 연구를 계기 삼아 재점검의 성찰을 통하여 독자적인 색의 사용과 꽃 이미지의 새로운 해석을 모색하는 시도를 하고자한다.
