아동화의 특성을 활용한 자신의 내면 표현연구 : 사랑을 주제로 한 표현 중심으로

Abstract

좋은 그림이라 하면 단순히 보이는 그대로의 객관적 사실을 표현하는 것보다 작가의 감정과 마음이 살아있는 표현을 잘된 그림이라 한다. 어린시절 부터 미술 교육을 받은 본인은 나의 주관적 감정에 충실한 표현을 하기보다는 틀과 형식, 그래야만 한다 는 암기식 그림에 익숙해져 왔다. 그러나 진정한 예술이란 작가 자신의 내면속의 움직이는 무언가를 형상화하고 내 삶의 실체를 밝히며 자신과 대화하는 것임을 안 후 나를 찾는 노력과 내 마음속에 내재된 그 무엇인가를 표출하려는 시도를 하게 되었다. 더불어 일러스트레이션을 하고 있는 본 연구자는 순수회화와의 차이점으로 그것이 감상자에게 공감을 불러 일으키게 하는 커뮤니케이션의 문제도 생각하지 않을 수 없었다. 그러던 중 아이들의 그림에서 자기의 깊은 원초적 본질을 드러내는 표현과 자신의 고뇌, 욕구, 공포, 야심등의 감정이 생생히 나타나 있는 드로잉을 보고 흥미를 가지게 되었다. 아동들은 자신을 나타내는 능력을 타고 나는 것과 마찬가지로 시각적 용어로도 자신을 표현할 수 있는 재능을 타고 난다. 아이들의 그림을 주의해보기만 하면 그들의 세계관, 감정, 생동감, 정서 반응들이 강렬하게 그림에 표현되어진 것을 알 수 있다. 어린이의 작품속에서 나타나는 표현을 연구하여 본인의 조형 탐구에 교훈적으로 접목시켜 보고자 하였다. 그러나 이러한 아동화에 대한 연구는 아동화의 순수한 창조적 세계를 본인의 작품에 이용하려는 것이지 작품이 아동화처럼 보이게 하려는 것은 아니다. 아동화의 순수한 내면 표현에 대한 관심이 있을 뿐, 성인으로서의 독자적인 본인의 작품 세계가 있음을 분명히 하려 한다. 본 논문의 목적은 내면 이미지를 좀 더 강렬하고 생생하게 표현하기 위해 아동화의 표현 특성을 연구하여 본인의 작품을 위해 이용할 수 있는 창조적 방법을 가지고 자기 표현을 하고자 하였다. 이론적 배경에 있어서 예술과 표현에 대한 일반적인 고찰과 함께 일러스트레이션을 하는데 있어 커뮤니케이션에 대해 알아보았고 다음으로 아동화에 대한 전반적 이해와 특성들을 설명하였다. 두번째로 아동화의 특성을 이용한 작가들의 표현연구의 사례를 살펴 보았다. 마지막으로 작품 제작에 있어서는 순수한 내면의 이미지를 찾는 과정에서 본인의 체험과 이야기를 시각화 하게 되었고 그 주제는 나와 더불어 함께 사는 가족과의 사랑을 표현하게 되었다. 작품의도를 실현시키는 방법으로 아동화의 특성인 과장, 생략, 형태왜곡, 엑스레이 화법등으로 본인의 마음을 강조하려 했고 메세지 전달을 위해 글을 표현의 한 부분으로 활용하였다. 소중한 사람들과의 따뜻하고 진실된 시간이 얼마나 소중한가에 대한 되새김을 해 보고자 주제를 사랑으로 정하고 본인의 감정을 아동화의 내면표현 특성을 활용해 자유롭게 표현해 보고자 하였다. 본 연구는 본인이 살아가는 삶 자체를 소재로한 시도였고 보다 자유롭고 순수한 표현을 하기 위해 나를 돌아보며 자기 탐구의 과정를 가졌고, 앞으로 계속되어야 할 자유로운 표현의 시작이었다고 할 수 있다. ; We say good painting is the one that vividly depicts the painter s feeling and mind rather than objective reality simply seen as it is. The author of this study has been familiar with the cramming system of painting focused on rules, forms and "should do" than expressions loyal to the author s subjective emotions due to the grinding fine art education for a long time. But after realizing real art makes shapes of something moving inside of the artist, sheds light on the substance of his life and communicates with himself, the author of this study began to make efforts to find out her self and express something indwelling in her mind Together with this, as an illustrator, the author of this study couldn t help thinking about communicational problems in evoking the appreciator s sympathy since there is a certain gap between illustration and pure painting. Meanwhile, the author saw children s drawings graphically expose their basic nature and emotions like agony, desire fear and ambition and began to have interests in them. Children have a natural talent of expressing themselves with visual terms as well as showing themselves. Once you look at children s drawings attentively, you can Understand their view of the world, feelings, liveliness and emotional responses are strongly expressed in them. So the author of this study tried to investigate expressions in children s works to instructively graft them to her exploration of formation. However, this study of children s drawings was to make use of the pure creative world of children s drawings not to make works similar to them. The author ascertains here that she is only interested in the pure inner expressions and there really is her own individual world of work as of one adult. The purpose of this study was to examine the expressional characteristics in children s drawings to extract available creative methods for the author s stronger and more vivid self expressions of her inner images. As a theoretical background, communication on illustration was looked at together with general investigations of the art and expression, and than general understanding of children s drawings and their characteristics were explained. Secondly, cases of artists making the most of expressional characteristics in children s drawings were considered. Finally, in making works, the author could visualize her won experiences and stories while searching for pure inner images and express the love between her and her family as a theme. As a way of actualizing her aim, characteristics in children s drawing such as exaggeration, omit, distortion of form and X-ray painting were used to emphasize her feelings and letter were used in expression to delivery messages. To recall how precious true moments of warm heart between people who care about each other are, the author of this study set up her theme as love and attempted to freely express her feelings by making the most of inner expressional characteristics in children s drawings.
