일상사물을 통한 심상표현 연구

Abstract

예술가는 사물의 내적인 울림을 듣고 그 울림을 구체적으로 나타낼 수 있어야 한다. 즉 사물을 있는 그대로 보는것이 아니라, 그것을 새로운 시각과 관점으로 느끼고 이해함으로써 그만의 독특한 이미지를 표현해야만 한다. 여기서 표현은 예술가의 내면세계인 심상을 표출하는 형식이다. 심상의 표현에 있어서 예술가는 내면 통찰을 통해 대상과의 자아동일성을 갖는 것이라 할 수 있으며, 자신이 전달하고자 하는 메세지를 자신의 정서와 감정에 맞는 표현방법을 찾아 효과적으로 나타내는 지표가 되게 한다. 이러한 심상은 지각, 사고와 깊게 관계한다. 지각이란 주어진 대상의 성질을 인지하는 심리적인 과정인데 환경의 변화나 외계의 사물에 대응하여 적절한 행동을 하기 위해 그 대상에 대해 명확히 파악해야 한다. 따라서 지각은 외계에의 적응에 필요한 자료를 획득하는 마음의 창구라고도 할 수 있다. 시지각은 시감각이라는 감각기관을 통해서 이루어 지는 감각내용을 소재로 하기 때문에 외부로부터의 시각자극을 그대로 받아들이는 것이 아니라 지각자의 기억, 심상등 과거의 경험에 의해서 얻어진 것의 흔적과 심리적 동기등에 따라 적절히 취사선택되어 통일된 전체적인 형태로 파악된다. 우리가 무엇을 본다고 하는 것은 일종의 시각적 판단이다. 본다고 하는 것은 전적으로 실재에 형체와 의미를 주관적으로 부여하는 것이고 외부세계를 바라보는 것은 대상자체의 속성과 관찰하는 주체의 본질 사이의 상호작용이다. 따라서 시지각은 외부 대상을 있는 그대로 표현 기록하는 것과 같은 기계적인 작용이 아니고 대상을 구조적으로 파악하여 사고에 영향을 주고 사고할 수 있는 심상을 제공한다. 이러한 맥락에서 사물의 참된 관조를 통한 내적 심상의 표출은 회화에서 역시 또 다른 세계의 예시인 것이다. 그리고 이러한 일상사물을 통해 투과되어 생성되는 인간의 내면의 표현은 새로운 감성적 이미지를 확장하고 창출하는 것이라고 할 수 있다. 본 연구의 이론적 배경은 논리적 전제로써 먼저 지각과 사고에 대한 고찰과 함께 그것과의 연관성으로써 심상에 관해 알아보았고, 다음으로는 표현에 대해 살펴봄으로써 대상을 바라봄 으로 해서 심상이 표현되는 과정을 일반적인 견해로 고찰하였다. 표현의 내용에서는 일상적 사물에 대한 참된 관조를 통해 이루어진 체험속에서 새롭게 표현되는 일상사물의 이미지에 대해 알아보았다. 이를 표현하기 위해 주관적인 표현의지에 따라 왜곡과 변형, 단순화등의 과정을 거쳐 낙서와 중첩, 선과 같은 이미지로써 심상을 나타냈다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 내면적인 시각으로 바라본 일상사물을 통하여 형성된 독특한 심상이미지를 표현하고자 하는 것이며, 그 결과 작품은 자유롭고 친근한 이미지와 정감적인 감흥을 이끌어낸다. ; A artist should be able to listen the inner sound of a thing, and express it specifically. That is, she should express her unique image by feeling it by new vision and point of view. In expressing image, an artist identifies himself of herself with the thing through penetrating the inside, and she makes an effective index that deliver what she wants by finding the method that fits her emotion. This image is deeply related to senses and thoughts. Senses are the psychological process of recognizing the given object, and an artist should well grasp it to take proper action against exterior thing. Accordingly, senses can be called as the window of mind that acquires necessary tools for adapting to the exterior world. A visual sense takes sense contents made through visual sense, and it is grasped as an integrated form by making a careful selection according to the trace of experience and motivation. What we see means a kind of visual judgement. Seeing subjectively gives the form and meaning of reality, and watching the exterior world is an interaction between the attribute of the object and the watcher. Accordingly, visual sense is not the same as recording an exterior object as it is, and it rather provides image that affects thinking by grasping an object. In this sense, expressing the inner image of a thing though true contemplation of a thing is an illustration of another world. Also, the expression of the inside of human being made through everyday things can be said as the expansion and creation of emotional image. The theoretical background of this study examines senses and thoughts as a logical premise, and the general view of making watching a thing into expression of image by looking at expression. In the content of expression, this study examines the image of everyday things that are newly expressed in the experience made through true speculation of everyday things. To express all this, I presented image of doodling, overlapping and lining through distortion, transformation and simplification of everyday things following subjective will of expression. Accordingly, this study has a purpose to express unique image through everyday things viewed by internalized vision, and as a result, work can induce free and friendly image and emotional enjoyment.
