2차원의 중첩효과를 이용한 공간표현 연구

Abstract

미술에 있어 공간 개념은 예술 전반의 존속을 통해 계속 존재해 왔으며 공간은 시대가 변함에 따라 여러 가지 의미로 다르게 해석되어 왔다. 예술에 있어서의 공간은 감각적으로 체험되어 지는 경험적 공간이고, 회화에서의 예술 공간은 평면에서 환각적인 수단으로 형성되는 공간이다. 공간은 미술 영역에 있어서 작품의 균형, 구성, 감정, 시간성에 미치게 되어 점, 선, 면, 색, 형 등의 요소들을 바탕으로 무한한 포용력을 지닌다. 예술의 표현 방법에 있어서 중첩(Overlapping)의 효과는 서로 다른 형태의 결합에 의한 화면의 다층적 구조를 형성하여 계속되는 시각 개념으로부터 벗어나 변화를 창출하는 방편으로 시간과 공간의 확대를 가져온다. 이른하임(R.Arnheim)은 대상의 중첩 효과에 관하여 중첩은 대상의 부분을 제거하는 속성을 가지면서 동시에 대상들을 통합하기 때문에, 사물의 물리적인 완전성(completeness)을 중요시하는 미술가에게 환영받는 선택의 길을 제공하고 있다고 언급하고 있다. 그러므로 중첩은 새로운 하나의 공간적 차원을 도입한 것이다. 따라서 본 연구자는 공간에서 얻은 이미지를 중첩으로 표현하여 공간을 시각화 하는데 목적이 있다. 또한 표현 방법의 다양성을 모색하고자 하였는데 작업은 마음속에 내재되어 있는 공간의 이미지를 화면위에 물감의 드리핑으로 표출 한 후 다시 분할하여 샐로판지, 색지와 재조합한 중첩의 방법으로 하였다. 그리하여 투명성에 의해 비쳐지는 효과와 함께 생기는 공간감을 유도 하였다. 본인의 작품제작 논문에서는 내용적인 면으로는 먼저 회화에 있어서의 공간의 개념과 공간 구성에서의 조형성에 대한 탐구에 대해 논하였고, 방법적인 면에서는 중첩에 의한 공간감을 연구하고, 자연의 변형된 표현과 우연성의 효과와 공간의 분할과 재구성에 대해 살펴보았다. 이러한 연구를 통해 작업 과정에서 표현의 가능성을 모색하여 본인의 화면에 나타내고자 하는 공간감을 구축하고자 한다. ; Space concept in art has existed through the preservation of the art, and it. has been translated into many meanings according to the change of time. Space in art is that of experience which is experienced through senses, and Space 1n painting is the one formed as a illusive means on the plane. Space in art filed has infin capacity based on the ingredients of dot, line, plane, color and shape, reaching out to the balance, composition emotion and time of work. Overlapping effect in artistic expression is a way of creating change escaping continuous time concept forming overlapping structure of image by the combination of different forms and it brings the expansion of and space. R. Arnheim commented on overlapping effect that since overlapping has attribute to remover the parts of an object and integrate objects at the some time, it offers a way of choice to artists thinking highly of the physical completeness of object. Overlapping introduces a new dimensional space. Accordingly, this study has a purpose to visualize the open space of nature by expressing the overlapping having the transparent image gained from natural space. Also, it gropes for the diversity of expression, and work is done in the way of overlapping with cellophane and color paper after expressing natural space image into the drippings of watercolor on the transparent picture. there fore, it drawn space sense resulting form the effect of transparency. In my production thesis, I first discuss the artistic and spacious vision of nature in the aspect of contents, and study space sense by overlapping in the aspect of method, and examine the transformed expression of nature, coincidence effect, and space division and restructure. Through this study, I try to embody space sense which I want to express on the picture by groping for the possibility of expression in course of work.
