친족 성폭력 피해자 치유를 위한 목회상담 연구

Abstract

본 연구는 친족성폭력 피해를 당하고도 침묵과 비밀로 일관한 채 일생동안 심각한 후유증에 시달리면서 살아가는 어린이와 여성 피해자가 많다는 사실을 전제로 출발하였다. 본 연구의 목적은 친족성폭력 피해자 치유사례를 통하여 피해자에게 치유가 어떠한 방법과 과정을 통해서 이루어지며, 목회상담적인 접근을 통하여 그들의 온전한 치유를 돕고, 효과적인 치유 프로그램의 기초자료를 마련해 보고자 하였다. 본 연구는 이러한 목적에 근거하여 친족성폭력 피해자 치유사례에 대한 분석을 통해서 목회상담의 치유과정을 논의해보았다. 본 연구의 분석결과 친족성폭력 피해자에 대한 치유는 개인에 따라 다양한 방법으로 이루어진다는 것과, 여성의 경험을 중시하는 여성주의 목회상담의 중요성을 확인할 수 있었다. 그 외에도 피해자는 지원, 내적 치유, 위기, 집단 목회상담을 통하여 평생동안 가슴을 멍들게 하였던 후유증에서 벗어날 수 있었다. 또한 성령의 도움으로 마음의 기쁨을 맛볼 수 있었고 하나님과의 관계도 새롭게 회복할 수 있게 되었다. 그러나 연구의 분석과정에 나타난 문제점은 남성 목회자들의 가부장적 사고로 인한 상담기피, 주변인들의 피해자에 대한 편견, 피해자 자신의 자신에 대한 왜곡된 사고, 피해자와 가족간의 관계파괴와, 지원체계의 부재 등이었다. 따라서 해결해야 할 과제로는 첫째, 대부분의 피해자가 여성이기 때문에 여성의 경험을 중요시하는 여성중심의 목회상담이 요구되고, 둘째, 가해자로부터 격리될 수 있는 보호시설의 이용과 가족의 해체로 인한 공허함을 위로 받고 정신적인 안정감과 지지기반을 가질 수 있는 지지집단이 구성되어야 하며, 셋째, 피해자의 회복과정에 있어서 보다 체계적이고 전문적인 지원을 통하여 피해자가 경제적 자립을 할 수 있도록 해야하고, 넷째, 대부분의 피해자가 학령기 청소년인 점을 감안해 그들을 위한 성폭력 예방 및 치유프로그램이 다양하게 개발되어야 하며, 다섯째, 피해자가 어느 정도 자립할 때까지 보호시설에서 생활할 수 있도록 한국교회의 재정적 지원과 관심이 요구된다. 마지막으로, 가해자에 대한 연구가 이루어져서 이러한 피해를 사전에 예방할 수 있도록 교육해야 할 것이다. 아직도 한국의 현실은 친족성폭력 이라는 말 자체를 금기시 하는 문화적 배경 속에서 사회에서나 교회에서도 대부분의 피해자들은 심각한 후유증에 노출된 채 치유 받지 못하고 있다. 그러나 현실은 피해의 심각성으로 인하여 이들의 치유를 위한 논의가 시급한 상황이다. 이러한 사람의 아픔을 교회는 사랑과 관심을 가지고 도우며 그들에게 예수 그리스도를 통한 온전한 평안과 복음의 삶을 살아가도록 돌봄을 주는 것은 목회상담의 중요한 사명이다. 그러므로 목회자는 목회상담을 통한 치유의 중요성을 재인식하고 상처받은 친족성폭력 피해자의 아픔을 깊이 공감하며 그리스도의 심장으로 그들을 위한 돌봄을 제공해야 할 것이다. ; This study started with a premise that there are a lot of children and women living their whole life with severe side effects of incest, keeping their mouth tight and what happened an agonizing secret. Therefore, the aim of this study is to find out the necessary methods and process for curing the victims of incest by examining precedent cases of victims relieved, to help them recover completely through counseling approaches, and finally to provide some basic data for establishing an effective cure program. Based on this aim, the author of this study tried to discuss the curative process in the pastoral counseling for the victims of incest. As a result of this study, it was revealed that the cure was varied by the personal traits of the victim and woman-oriented pastoral counseling paying much attention to the feelings of women is necessary. It is noteworthy some victims could be freed from their life-long nightmare through emotional support, mental relief, crisis and group counseling with the pastor. Also they could enjoy the peace of mind and reestablish their relationship with God anew by the help of Holy Spirit. However certain problems have come out as this study evolved; some of male pastors are still reluctant to give counsel because of their patriarchal biases; besides, there are other people s prejudice against the victim, the victim s misconception about herself, the breakdown of the relationship between the victim and her family, and the absence of support. Therefore, these problems should be resolved in such ways as follows : first, woman-oriented pastoral counseling is demanded to respect women s feelings and concentrate on the experiences they have undergone. Second, supporting groups should be organized to provide protective facilities for the assaulted to use them safely out of the assaulter s reach and give comfort, security and emotional support as the victim might suffer from the breakdown of her family bond. Third, the opportunity of self-support should be given to the victim through more systematic and specialized helps. Fourth, various preventive and curative programs should be developed for juveni les since they are the primary target of family sexual assault. Fifth, financial support and concern of the church are required until the assaulted fully recover to stand alone. Sixth, more studies on sexual assaulters are needed to prevent assault and establish proper educational systems. In Korean society, incest still remains a taboo, something horrible to speak out loud that the victims haven t fully relieved from the severity of its side effects. The sufferings of the victims are so great that we can not ignore their problem any more. Especially the church must help them with concern and care, and it is the pastor s important mission to guide them to love a completely peaceful and blessed life through the love of Jesus Christ. By these reasons, the pastor should recognize anew the importance of counseling as having a strong healing power and have a deep sympathy with the victim of incest to provide proper care with the heart of Christ.
