규칙적인 체육활동이 자폐아동의 신체발달과 사회화에 미치는 영향

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 규칙적인 체육활동이 자폐아동의 신체발달과 사회화에 영향을 미치는가를 규명하여 자폐아동 교육 프로그램 구성에 있어서 체육활동의중요성을 밝혀 그 기초적인 자료를 제공하는데 있다. 이와 같은 목적을 달성하기 위하여 서울시 소재 C종합사회복지관 장애아동운동 교실에 참여하고 있는 22명의 아동 중 의학검사를 통해 자폐라고 진단받은 신체적으로는 건강한 12명의 아동을 연구대상으로 선정하였다. 본 연구에서는 규칙적인 체육활동이 자폐아동의 신체발달과 사회화에 영향을미치는지를 규명하기 위하여 Nihira 등(1981)이 개발하여 Lambert와 Windmiller(1981)에 의해 개정되고, 김승국(1990)에 의해 번안되고 표준화된 적응행동 검사지(Adaptive Behavior Scale) 중 신체발달과 사회화 영역 6문항과 9문항, 총15문항을 검사도구로 사용하였다. 본 연구의 설계는 피험자 내 반복 측정방법(single-factor wihtin subjectrepeated measurements design)이었다. A는 기초선인 사전 검사로 적응행동 검사를 실시하였다. B는 중재인 주 3일, 1회 1시간씩 총 14주 동안의 체육활동 프로그램이다. A’는 중재 후 검사인 적응행동 사후 검사이다. 위와 같은 연구절차를 통하여 얻은 자료를 분석하기 위한 주요 통계분석 기법은 반복측정에 의한일원변량분석(repeated one-way ANOVA)을 실시하였다. 이상의 연구 방법과 절차를 통하여 다음과 같은 결과가 나타났다. 첫째, 규칙적인 체육활동은 자폐아동의 신체발달에 긍정적 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 규칙적인 체육활동은 자폐아동의 사회화에 긍정적 영향을 미쳤다. ; The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of regular physical activities that are regularlly exercised on autistic children s physical development and socialization. The subjects of the study were 12 autistic children in clinical diagnosis that participate in physical activity class for adaptive children from among 22 developmental disorder children. The instrument used for this study consisted of two components of physical development, socialization scale as Lambert, Nihira developed. The method of the study was based on the A-B-A design of the sigle-subject repeated measurement design where A is the baseline; B is the intervention; and A is the baseline after the intervention of the experiment. The primary statistics employed for data analysis were repeated one-way ANOVA. The autistic children s physical development and socialization showed following changes as the result of this study; First, the physical activities influenced in increasing the physical development of the autistic children. Second, although physical activities affected in increasing the socialization. Based upon the result of the following conclusions appeared to be warranted; The regular physical activities had a positive effect on increasing physical development and socialization of the autistic children.
