니체에서의 생성과 긍정의 정신 : 니체의 영원회귀 사상 중심으로

Abstract

본 논문은 니체에서의 인간과 세계를 생성하는 존재로서 이를 인정하는 긍정의 정신을 나타내고자 한다. 이러한 필요성은 그가 전통적인 세계를 거부하는 이유에서 명백하게 드러난다. 그는 지금까지 최고 가치였던 초자연적인 신,이념, 이상 등의 세계는 무가치한 허무주의로서 배격되고 대신에 인간의 적나라한 대지의 삶을 중요시하는 가치로 전환하도록 주장하였다. 니체는 현실 세계의 삶을 그 자체로 긍정함으로써 인간 자신이 삶의 비약을 통한 스스로의 구원이 가능하다는 것을 기술하려 한다. 즉, 종래의 피안의 세계에 가치를 두고 현실의 삶을 거부하려는 철학이 가고, 현실의 삶 그 자체에 모든 가치와 의미를 부여하는 철학을 요구하는 것이다. 이제 니체는 인간 존재의 장소와 목표를, 낡은 형이상학과 도덕적 답변이 아니라, 삶을 긍정하는 새로운 답변에 의거해 설정하고자 한다. 니체에게 있어 삶의 긍정을 나타내는 파토스는 영원회귀와 힘에의 의지, 생성, 초인 등의 여러 사유의 상호 의존관계를 통해, 니체의 핵심 사유들을 역동적인 다양성 속의 통일성을 이루는 새로운 해석으로 탄생하게 된다. 힘에의 의지를 통해 생성론과 영원회귀가 보증되고 정당화되며, 이런 방식에 의해 인간과 세계에 대한 이해의 급진적 변화를 가능하게 한다. 인간은 형이상학적 실체가 아니며 고정할 수 없는 생성되는 주체로서, 해석하고 평가하는 주체로서 이해된다. 이와 함께 니체는 이러한 영원회귀 사상을 그의 운명애 사상으로 생성과 파괴의 영원한 운동 그 자체에 영원한 존재의 성격을 부여함으로서 적극적으로 삶 자체를 긍정하고 수용한다. 현실 세계에서의 삶에의 의지를 부정하고서는 결코 인간의 이상이 실현될 수 없다고 본다. 결국 니체는 삶 자체를 긍정하는 것만이 좀더 발전된 자신과, 세계, 삶을 이뤄갈 수 있다고 말한다. ; This study is attempted to demonstrate the spirit of positivism in Nietzsche, which acknowledges an existence, which generates humans and the world. Nietzsche s theory is clearly revealed in the reasons for rejecting a traditional world. To put it another way, he objected to the world of supernatural gods, ideology and utopia which was the most highly regarded up until then, considering it to be worthless nihilism; instead, he advocated considering the value of the present life on earth. In doing so, Nietzsche tried to describe the point that men are able to save themselves through the development of life by positively admitting life itself in reality. This means that philosophy, which put a value on Nirvana in rejecting the present life has run out and, instead, it needs to have philosophy that puts all kinds of values and significance on present life itself. Therefore, Nietzsche tries to set up the status and objectives of humans based on positivism rather than old-fashioned metaphysics or ethics. Pathos, the representation of positivism in Nietzsche, was generated through the interdependent relationship of eternal recurrence, desire for power, generation and a superhuman and, thus, his key thoughts were newly interpreted as a unity with a dynamic variety. Through desire for power, theory of generation and eternal recurrence is ensured and justified; in this process, rapid progress of understanding of humans and the world is enabled. According to this theory, humans are understood as a flexible generating subjectivity, which enables understanding and judgment, instead of a metaphysical entity. Along with this, Nietzsche s theory of eternal recurrence, which is regarded as his theory of destiny, has positive attitudes towards life and thus embraces it by attributing the nature of eternal existence to an eternal activity of generation and destruction per se. In other words, it is impossible to realize the ideal of human beings when they deny a will of life in a real world. Eventually, Nietzsche addresses the positivism of life, which leads to the improvement of self, the world, and life.
