고등학교 국어교과서에 나타난 7차 교육과정 반영 양상 연구 : 단원 및 내용 구성을 중심으로

Abstract

제 7차 교육과정에 의해 새롭게 개편된 고등학교 국어 교과서를 분석 검토하여 교육과정이 교과서에 충실히 반영되었는지를 고찰하고, 그 과정에서 발견되는 문제점을 함께 진단하였다. 이를 중심으로 국어 교과서의 개선 방향과 효율적 활용 방안을 생각하여 국어 교육 발전에 도움이 되고자 함이 연구의 목적이다. 교과서에 나타난 교육과정 반영 양상을 살피기 위해 먼저 7차 교육과정의 특징과 교과서 편찬의 기본 방향을 살폈다. 그리고 이 특징들이 교과서에서 구체적으로 구현된 양상을 살피기 위해 수준별 학습, 자기주도 학습, 과정중심 학습으로 나누어 고찰하였다. 또 단원 구성 방식 및 영역별 통합 분포를 중심으로 단원 구성 양상을 살피고, 목표에 따른 제재 선정 및 학습활동의 적합성을 밝히는 과정을 통하여 내용 구성 양상을 검토하였다. 이를 통해 얻어진 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 수준별 학습 운영의 문제점으로 심화·보충을 나누는 평가 기준인 점검하기 의 애매성, 시간 운영 및 지도상의 어려움, 그리고 심화·보충 학습에 대한 평가 기준의 부족이 지적되었다. 이에 수준별 학습 운영을 보다 효율적으로 하기 위한 방안으로, 점검하기 를 보다 명확하고 객관적인 평가 준거가 될 수 있도록 재구성하였다. 또한 심화·보충 학습 내용과 관련된 학습과제 를 제시하여 자기주도적 학습이 될 수 있도록 하고, 이를 수행평가로 연결하는 방안을 제시하였다. 둘째, 자기주도 학습과 과정중심 학습의 정신은 교과서에 비교적 잘 반영되었고, 이는 점검하기 내용이나 학습활동 의 구성, 편집 체제 등을 통해 구체적으로 구현되었다. 셋째, 단원 구성의 방식과 체제는 자율학습을 위한 측면에서 바람직한 방향으로 개선되었다. 또한 영역별 통합 방식으로 단원을 구성하여 7차 교육과정의 특징 중 하나인 영역간의 통합적 제시를 구현하였다. 넷째, 목표에 따른 제재 선정과 학습활동의 적합성을 중심으로 살펴본 내용구성은 교육과정에 따라 비교적 충실하게 이루어졌다. 다만, 학습활동 내용 구성이 목표에서 벗어난 몇몇 단원이 있기에, 이를 중심으로 학습목표에 적합한 학습활동으로 재구성하였다. 또 이를 단계적으로 구성하여 학생들이 과정적 접근에 의해 문제를 해결 할 수 있도록 하였다. 마지막으로, 교과서를 보다 효율적으로 활용하기 위해서는, 교육과정과 교과서에 대한 철저한 분석과 내용의 재구성, 교과서에 실린 심화·보충학습 내용의 취사 선택 및 다양한 자료 활용, 수업 운영에서의 구조의 일관성 유지, 다양하고 창의적인 교수 방법 개발 등이 이루어져야 한다고 제언하였다.; By analyzing Korean High School textbook which is newly organized, based on the 7th curriculum, I studied whether curriculum was reflected on the text well or not, and pointed out several problems. Therefore, my purpose in this study is to contribute to the development of Korean language education by considering the right directions for its improvement and applying efficient plans of the textbook. Chapter 2 examines the features of the 7th curriculum and basic direction of the compilation of the text. Chapter 3 studies on ability-study, self-leading study, process-centered study for investigating the aspects where these features are embodied concretely from the textbook. And it also observes the unit organizations of aspects focused on its method and integrated distribution for each field. Then it investigates the aspect of the organization of the contents by studying the suitability of material selection and the excercise aimed at the study. Chapter 4 suggests the right direction of improvement and efficient application plans for the Korean textbook. This study reaches the conclusions as the followings: First, the problems of the ability-study, ambiguity of the checking-attainment , lack of school hours, and insufficiency of the evaluation basis have been pointed out through the study. Therefore, as the plan for an efficient operation of the ability-study, it has reorganized the checking-attainment more objectively and definitely, and suggested to present a subject to be studied, in order to connect this with an accomplishment evaluation. Second, the spirit of self-leading study and process-centered study is reflected comparatively well on the text. It is embodied concretely by contents of checking-attainment , contents of excercise, and the system of the edition. Third, the method and the system of the unit organization with desirable direction from the aspects for an independent work on the part of the students have been improved. And by organizing the units with the method of the integrated fields, one of the features of the 7th curriculum is well reflected. Forth, the contents composition, focused on the fitness of task selection and the excercise for the aim of the study were accomplished comparatively well based on the curriculum. But there are some contents of excercise that are a little off the point for the aim, so they have been suitably re-composed with the aim. Also, they are re-composed by stages in order to solve the problem by a procedural approach. Finally, for the efficient application plan of the Korean textbook, re-composition of the contents and analysis of the curriculum and textbook, selection of the contents at the further study or supplementary study and application of various data, consistent maintenance of structure of class operation, and development of the diversified, creative teaching method must be accomplished.
