- 본 논문은 황병기의 작품 피리독주곡 『豊饒』의 음악적 구조와 특징을 살펴봄으로, 이 작품의 이해와 연주 및 감상에 도움을 주고자 함이 연구목적이다.
『豊饒』의 출현음과 음계, 리듬, 장식음, 시김새를 악장별로 살펴보아 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다.
1. 제 1악장
ⓐ부분은‘黃(D) 太(E) 仲(G) 林(A) 南(B) 無(C)’가 출현하며‘仲’이 가장많이 출현하고 가장 많이 떠는 음이며,‘林’은 흘리는 음으로 나타난다.
‘無’는 경과음이어서 5음음계의 黃錘調이다.
ⓑ부분은‘□(B)-무(C)-□(D^♭)-黃(D)-太(E)-姑(F^#)-仲(G)-林(A) 이 출현하며‘太’가 가장 많이 나타나고‘黃’이 가장 많이 떠는 음이며,‘무’,‘□’,‘仲’이 경과음이어서 南呂界面調이다.
ⓒ부분은‘람(A) □(B) 黃(D) 太(E) 仲(G)’이 출현하는 5음음계로‘黃’이가장 많이 출현하고 많이 떠는 음이며,‘太’는 흘리는 음이어서 林錘調이다.
ⓓ부분은‘黃(D) 仲(G) 林(A)’등이 출현하는 3음응계로‘仲’이 가장 많이출현하며‘黃’이 가장 많이 떠는 음으로 나타난다. 음계는 ⓐ부분과 같이黃錘調이다.
제 1악장은 ⓐ부분의 제 1마디와 ⓓ부분의 제 4마디의 리듬과 선율이 동일하다. 나머지는 기본박型 유사리듬형으로 되어있다.
장식음은 한 음 위 장식음과 제 음 한 음 위 제 음 장식음이 가장 많이 사용하였다.
2. 제 2악장
ⓐ부분은‘黃(D) 太(E) 仲(G) 林(A) 南(B) 無(C)’가 출현하며‘仲’이 가장많이 나타난다.‘林’이 가장 많이 떠는 음으로 나타나고‘無’를 경과음으로하는 5음음계의 黃錘調 이다.
ⓑ부분은‘람(A)-□(B)-黃(D)-太(E)-姑(F^#)-仲(G)’등이 출현하고‘黃’이가장 많이 나타나며‘仲’을 경과음으로 본 5음음계의 林錘調이다.
제 2악장의 리듬은 ⓐ부분의 단락을 지우는 선율 중 제 8마디와 제 16마디가 같은 리듬과 선율로 되어있으며 유사리듬형이 많이 사용되었다.
장식음은 세 음 아래 장식음이 많이 사용되었다.
3. 제 3악장
ⓐ, ⓑ, ⓒ부분 모두‘黃(D)-太(E)-仲(G)-林(A)-南(B)’이 출현하는 5음음계로 ⓐ부분과 ⓒ부분은‘仲’이, ⓑ부분은‘黃’이 가장 많이 출현하는 음이다. 세 부분 모두‘黃’이 가장 많이 떠는 음으로 나타나며 음계는 계면성을띄는 黃錘調이다.
제 3악장의 ⓐ부분은 3마디로 되어있으며 이 부분의 리듬은 ⓑ, ⓒ부분 제8마디부터 제 10마디까지와 리듬, 선율이 동일하다. ⓐ, ⓑ, ⓒ부분은〈후렴구(3마디)+ⓑ본선율(7마디).후렴구+ⓒ본선율.후렴구〉로 후렴구가 먼저 나타나는 2부분형식이다.
제 3악장은 기본박型리듬이 16마디, 혼합型리듬이 4마디, 헤미올라型리듬이 3마디로 되어있다.
장식음은 두 음 위 장식음이 많이 나타났다.
4. 제 4악장
‘□(B)-黃(D)-太(E)-仲(G)-林(A)’이 출현하는 5음음계로‘太’가 가장 많이나타나며,‘林’이 가장 많이 떠는 음으로,‘仲’이 흘리는 음으로 가장 많이나타나는 南呂調이다. 제 4악장의 리듬은 정박型이 17마디, 혼합型이 8마디, 헤미올라型이 1마디로 되어있으며 다양한 리듬이 사용되었다.
장식음은 한 음 위 장식음과 세 음 아래 장식음이 1회씩 나타났다.
;The purpose of this article is help understanding, playing, and listening by examining musical structure and characteristic of "A solo-tune of PIRI in a structure of Music 「Pung-yo」 by BYUNG-KI HWANG
The 「Pung-yo」 is an analytical investigation of appeared tune, rhythm, decorated tone and technique in each movement, which lead to the following results.
1. The first movement.
Part ⓐ : Hwang(D)-Tae(E)-Jung(G)-Lim(A)-Nam(B)-Moo (C) is showing And Jung i s the most the seen and vibrated sound. Lim i s shown spiled-note, and Nam is pulled-up note once. It is five tone of Hwangjong-Key because Moo is considered as passing-note.
Part ⓑ :Nam(B)-Moo(C)-Yung(D^b)-Hwang(D)-Tae(E)-Goo (F^#)-Jung(G)-Lim(A) is showing. Tae is the most seen and Hwang is vibrated. `Moo,Yu˘ng,Jung is Namrea of minor because it is passin g-note.
Part ⓒ :It is Lim(A)-Nam(B)-Hwang(D)-Tae(E)-Jung(G) showing five tone. Hwang is the most seen and vibrated sound.It is Limjong-key that Tae shown as spiled-note.
Part ⓓ :Hwang(D)-Jung(G)-Lim(A) showing three tone scale.Jung is the most seen and Hwang is vibrated sound. The scale is Hwangjong-Key as the part ⓐ.
The first movement has same melody in the first measure of part ⓐ and the fourth measure of part ⓓ. And it is consisted of basic and similar rhythm. Ornament is decorated tone on one tone and the main note-decorated tone on one tone-the main note used.
2. The second movement.
Part ⓐ : Hwang(D)-Tae(E)-Jung(G)-Lim(A)-Nam(B)-Moo(C) is showing. Jung is the most shown and Lim is the most vibrated. It is five tone of Hwangjong-Key by considering Moo as passing-note. Part ⓑ : Lim(A)-Nam(B)-Hwang(D)-Tae(E)-Goo(F^#)-Jung(G) is showing, Hwang is the most shown and is five tone scale of Limjong-key by considering as passing-note.
The eighth and sixteenth measure of part a has identical rhythm and melody line. It is also used a type of similar rhythm a lot. Decorated tone under three tone is used as decorated tone often.
3. The third movement.
Part a, part b, part c is all five tone by showing Hwang(D)-Tae (E)-Jung(G)-Lim(A)-Nam(B). Jung is the most shown in the part ⓐ and part ⓒ And Nam is for part ⓑ.
A part is consisted of three measures. It has same rhythm and melody line between the eighth to tenth measure in part b, c.
Part ⓐ, part ⓑ part ⓒ is (Repeated melody+ ⓑ Basic melody. Repeated melody+ ⓒ Basic melody. Repeated melody>.And if we see the third movement as form of two parts consisted by part b and c, we have this conclusion.
As we see, Repeated melody i s forwarding i n the third movement. This movement has sixteen in a type of basic rhythm, four in a type of mixed rhythm and three in a type of pulled rhythm. Decorated tone on two tone is used often.
4. The fourth movement.
It is five tone which showing Nam(B)-Hwang(D)-Tae(E)-Jung(G)Lim(A). Tae is the most shown and Lim is vibrated.
It is Namrea-key that showing Jung as the major. Rhythm of this movement is membered by 17th a type of basic rhythm, eight in a type of mixed rhythm, and one in a type of pulled rhythm. Variable similar rhythm is used often.
Decorated tone on one tone, decorated tone under three tone is used once each.
